00:00South Texas, heavy rain could flood roads and disrupt your weekend plans.
00:03The biggest concern is Saturday night through Monday morning from just south
00:06the San Antonio through Laredo and Corpus Christi, then toward Brownsville.
00:09It's a slow-moving storm coming out of southern New Mexico that will tap into
00:12Gulf moisture and bring rounds of rain and thunderstorms. Austin and Houston
00:16could catch a few showers, but it's further south where those downpours are
00:19going to be heavier and more persistent. That's where we're forecasting one to
00:22four inches of rain, with some isolated spots getting even up to 10 inches of
00:26rain. So if you have outdoor plants in South Texas, have an indoor backup,
00:30and share this with anyone else in the area so they know what to expect.
