00:03Some tangible warmth in the air over the next few days, certainly by day, if you catch some
00:09sunshine feeling pleasantly warm by night, temperatures not as low as the beginning of
00:13the week.
00:14We do have thunderstorms pushing from the south for central and northern areas of Scotland,
00:18just a few showers, but we could see some heavy rain, just a, just a, oh, I'll do that
00:23again, sorry.

00:38We have some tangible warmth in the air over the next few days, certainly not as chilly
00:43as the beginning of the week, by night, by day, temperatures into the 20s.
00:47Some showery bursts into Friday morning towards the far west of Scotland.
00:51This area of thundery rain does migrate northwards into the evening time and Friday, and then
00:57we have a swirl of clouds and some outbreaks of rain through Friday as well, low pressure
01:02in charge, but towards the west, drier skies.
01:05And then into the weekends, the weather tends to come in from the west, affecting mostly England
01:10and Wales with some higher rainfall totals, but still some showers in the mix across Scotland
01:15as well.
01:16So, through this evening, you can see where some showery bursts just moving in across
01:21more western areas, the central belt, clearer skies across the far north, northeast, we could
01:26see a bit more clouds with an onshore breeze.
01:29Notice this wet weather, though, drifting away into the early hours of Thursday morning.
01:34Still some showers in the mix across the western isles as we head into the day, but even so, for
01:39most it's a dry end to the night and a mild one.
01:42Temperatures across the central belt perhaps no lower than around 14 or 15 degrees celsius,
01:47and there will be some sunshine first thing.
01:50A bit more clouds across eastern areas, but that cloud should break.
01:53Any showers fading away towards the west there, and notice through the morning into the afternoon,
01:58the chance of some showers just pushing in across border regions.
02:02Elsewhere, it's a fine day with some sunny spells, a few showers could break out across
02:07highlands through the afternoon.
02:08But feeling warm in that sunshine, 22, 23 towards the west of Scotland, and even with
02:14that onshore breeze, probably 19 or 20 across Aberdeenshire, Angus, down towards Fife, and
02:20some fine weather coming through across the north as well.
02:23However, through Thursday evening and overnight, this thundery rain does continue to push northwards,
02:28so perhaps some heavier downpours likely into Friday morning, and all courtesy of a low pressure
02:36system which will continue to swirl that cloud and that wet weather around into Friday.
02:41Temperatures yet again 13 to 15 celsius, but a brisk breeze coming in across more eastern
02:47areas.
02:47The wind's picking up some strength associated with that low pressure.
02:51And through Friday, brighter skies to start the day across western Scotland.
02:56Outbreaks of rain sporadic in nature across more central and eastern areas, never too far
03:01away across eastern counties.
03:03Even so, it will come and go, but if you catch some rain, it could turn heavy and again the
03:07chance of some thunder associated with it.
03:10Now towards the west, a fine afternoon as temperatures arrive around 20 degrees celsius.
03:14And even further east, despite that brisk wind, still the high teens if not 20 for Edinburgh.
03:21Into Saturday, there will be more in the way of cloud, and there will also be the chance
03:25of a little showery rain from time to time.
03:28Temperatures not as high, 17 to 19 celsius, setting the scene for Sunday and into next week.
