00:00 And unlike 2022 to end out 2023 regular season, the Packers were triumphant 17 to 9 over the
00:12 Chicago Bears, the 10th straight win for Green Bay over their rivals in Chicago, the 17th
00:19 playoff appearance for Green Bay since 2001, the first with Jordan Love as the starting
00:24 quarterback, 27 of 32 yesterday, Donny, was Love against the Bears secondary, 316 yards,
00:32 two touchdowns.
00:33 The Pack win outright 17 to 9, covering as a three-point home favorite in Lambeau.
00:39 This is a true wildcard team heading into the playoffs as the Green Bay Packers, because
00:43 you're getting very good quarterback play here, and that's the key to success.
00:46 If that defense can come around a little bit, which again it did on Sunday, holding the
00:49 Bears to nine points, that's going to make a difference.
00:51 It's not one of those teams where, you know, sometimes you get that, you know, obviously
00:54 the top seed gets the bye week, the number two seed's like, "Hey, no big deal."
00:57 You know, Green Bay Packers will handle them pretty easily.
00:59 I don't think that's going to be the case heading into this weekend as we analyze that
01:02 matchup as the days go by.
01:04 But also let's take a, the fun part about this is right, like Justin Fields, he's our
01:09 franchise guy.
01:10 Like, and it feels, I feel bad for him because I felt like this was a referendum game on
01:14 should he stay or should he go?
01:16 Not him playing in dozens and dozens of games where he can analyze film, like he was supposed
01:20 to go on the road and beat the Green Bay Packers, which I don't think the Bears have beaten
01:23 since 1962.
01:24 And the fact they lost that game, he should be shoved aside.
01:27 Now, having said that, Justin Fields will be fine in the NFL.
01:29 He'll find a very good organization, will be a productive quarterback.
01:33 But for my money right now in the Chicago Bears, it's time to start picking up the phone
01:36 and making a deal for Justin Fields elsewhere and bring in the Caleb Williams era.
01:40 I just think it makes the most sense.
01:41 We talked about that ad nauseum last week.
01:43 It's not Justin Fields' fault that the organization failed him, but I think if he lands in the
01:47 right spot with a good offensive coordinator and some weapons, he can have a very good
01:51 fresh start somewhere else.
01:52 But I think the Bears, the only move for them to make for me, take the quarterback number
01:56 one, restart your franchise and get on with it.
