00:00This story is crazy. Saudi Arabian authorities clamped down on a camel scandal.
00:07They disqualified more than 40 camels from the annual King Abdulaziz Camel Festival Beauty Contest.
00:15Wait a minute, hold on a second. You left me there with two words. Beauty contest for camels?
00:19Beauty contest for camels, yes. This is what they do in Dubai.
00:23After discovering that these camels had been given Botox shots or had face and hump lifts.
00:30Whoa, wait a minute, wait a minute. You didn't just say the camels were given hump lifts.
00:35Hump lifts. During this month-long festival, jurors awarded prizes worth more than $66 million for the best-shaped heads, necks, humps, and posture of these camels, as well as judging their elaborate costumes.
00:50Organizers say each year, camel owners go to even greater extremes to make their camels beautiful by stretching their lips and noses, boosting up their humps, and even inflating body parts with rubber bands.
01:04So 40 camels were disqualified this year for Botox. Can you believe it?
01:10You know there have to be photos on the web somewhere.
01:13Oh, I can't wait to look these up. Yeah.
01:15We have got to look these up, and when you guys don't do it while you're driving, when you get home, you've got to look these camels up and see what they're doing.
01:22It's like the Kardashians of camels over there.
01:24Oh, no. You just took that story and made it even worse.
01:31Oh, boy. All right.
01:33We've all been hearing way too much about, and the fact that it's still going on, the smash and grab burglaries, especially out west,
01:41where they have reduced, I guess, the time that somebody, there's no bail.
01:48So if you get arrested for something like this, you go in, and the next day you're out.
01:52They turn you loose, and then you go do it again.
01:54Sure.
01:55Well, these thieves, I mean, they've been breaking into cars.
02:00They've been doing jewelry stores.
02:02You know about jewelry stores.
02:02So one jewelry store said, I'm going to fool them.
02:08So the jewelry store took about $200 worth of costume jewelry, which could be a lot of jewelry.
02:19And so they put it out there in the showcases while they were closed instead of the real stuff.
02:25That's smart.
02:26Not exactly.
02:28I don't know what happened.
02:29Because the smash and grab thieves, all elbowing each other, going, look in there.
02:34Look at all that jewelry in there.
02:35Look at that jewelry in there.
02:37So they broke in, and they stole all that costume jewelry.
02:41Now, the costume jewelry was worth about $200.
02:44The only problem is they did $20,000 worth of damage to the building and the showcases to get that $200 worth of costume jewelry.
02:56Not the best idea.
02:57Maybe just leaving the shelves there would have been a better idea, what do you think?
03:02Yep.
03:02Yep.
