00:00Peace be with you
00:30The disciples saw the Lord and were filled with joy. Again Jesus said to them, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” After saying this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”

02:14It is our turn now. Today, as we have heard in this text from Saint John, the Father said to me...
02:21He sent, so I send you. So Pentecost is not only the beginning
02:29of the church, but is the beginning of the work of the church. Because the church, as already mentioned
02:35As Saint Irenaeus mentioned in the 2nd century, it exists to evangelize. Our mission is to bring
02:44This message to others. You will recall, we have seen it on some other occasions, in
02:50In chapter 10, verse 14 of the Letter to the Romans, Saint Paul says, how are they going to believe
03:00If no one is delivering the message to them? In other words, how are we going to make our community aware?
03:09How can we learn about Jesus if we don't proclaim him? Unfortunately, Catholics in general are passive people.
03:20This is a person who is not truly committed to evangelization, sometimes not even to
03:27the evangelization of the children. We have remained hopeful that the church, and understand
03:34Through the church, the priest and his catechists will do the work. Which has brought as
03:41The result, then, is a fatal crisis in our Christianity. To begin our celebration
03:48I want to give you some statistical data so that, well, since sometimes we're left wondering, well
03:55And so what? I think this is more of a tall tale than anything else. I want to give you some information.
04:00Statistics that I was looking for, precisely to prepare for today, and well, may this open us up
04:05I'm starting to think that what I'm telling you is true, that the Catholic Church has fallen asleep.
04:11We have rested on our laurels and have not accomplished the work the Lord entrusted to us. Just as the Father
04:18He sent me, so I send them. In the Gospel of Matthew it ends with a text we already know,
04:2528, starting from verse 19, says, "Go and make disciples." And what have we done? I'll tell you
04:33What have we done? The statistics from 1900, 1900, almost a century ago, that is, 114 years ago. 114 years ago
04:45How things were. 114 years ago, look at the world population, do you know how much
04:51Was it? 1.6 billion. There were 1.6 billion inhabitants on our planet. Of these.
05:031.6 billion people who inhabited the planet, Christians, in general, all
05:11Christians held 34% of the pie. 34% of the world's population in 1900 was already Christian.
05:21Christian. This represents 554 million Christians at that time, 1900. Among the Christians
05:33How was it divided? How was the pie divided? Well, of these 554 million, there were
05:39434 million Catholics, representing 78%. In 1900, 34%, after 2,000 years,
05:52After 2,000 years, out of 1 billion, the Church had already conquered 34%.
06:012,000 years, a very long time. And we're only 34% of the way there. Very good. Recent data,
06:122005, the most complete statistic I found, because there is isolated data from 2010, but I wanted
06:18It's better to use the 2005 one because it's more complete. How many people were there in 2005? In 2005
06:26There were 6.4 billion. In just 100 years, the population grew by 5 billion.
06:36In 100 years. Even with two world wars in between. And we still increased.
06:445 billion in these 100 years. Very good. Of these 6.4 billion people who inhabited
06:55In 2005, what was the situation like? Well, you may recall that we had 34.5% in the
07:03in 1900. Well, we lost a percent. In 2005, of the 6.4 billion, 33% were
07:15Christians. But here's the most catastrophic fact about this. This means that Christians in the
07:23In 2005, there were 2.13 billion Christians worldwide. Therefore, this 33% represents 2.13 billion Christians.
07:35in the world. Just listen to this next statistic. Of these 2.13 billion Christians
07:44In the world, there are 1.1 million Catholics, representing 52%. And our Protestant brothers and sisters in all their different denominations.
08:01denominations, which by then already numbered more than 3,400 small churches, churches of all sizes,
08:08They had 1.02 billion, which represents 48%. What does that mean, a good amount?
08:22How many Catholics became Protestants? A very good number? They went through, they had 120 million.
08:37In 1900 and in 2005 they had 1.21 million, 1.01 billion, and 1.02 billion, respectively. That is to say, they increased.
08:52Five times their number. Five times their number. Ten times their number. Ten times their number.
09:02Yes, from 120 to 1.01. They grew tenfold. And we shrank by half. What does that indicate?
09:16That? That the Catholic is doing nothing more than coming to mass at best.
09:27How do they predict this data? They're taken for those who are taking it, because then it says
09:32And where did the father get these statistics? There's a global agency called World
09:38Christian Database. It is a worldwide organization of all Christian churches, including
09:46The Catholic Church, which provides information to this organization. Its website is...
09:52There you can check what I'm telling you, so you can see the tremendous reality.
09:59On this Pentecost of 2014. The perspective we have for 10 years from now, a little bit
10:06Furthermore, well, by 2025, it's for 2025, with all the obstacles that the different [problems] have put in place,
10:16Especially the World Bank, in terms of lending money and all that, has placed many restrictions on them.
10:21of not having children. Therefore, she is trying to stop growth. According to this, in 10 years
10:30We're going to see an increase of roughly another 2 billion. According to this statistic they have
10:35In this database, supposedly by 2025 we will be 9 billion, that is,
10:442 billion more than we are now. In the projection made by these brothers, it is
10:51Christians will number 2.7 billion, which represents only 30%. We'll see.
11:02increased from 2.3 to 2.7. While the world grew by 2 billion, we are only going
11:11to increase by 400 million, at best. Muslims are going to have the second
11:19place with 22%, with 2 billion and the Hindus 1.1 billion, 12%.
11:30If we follow the trend, that's not shown by, what's it called? Because these are
11:39They only project on Christians and don't do any other projections in this
11:43That makes sense. If we continue with the projection I just gave you, it means that for
11:48By 2025, Catholics would probably be thinking that we would have 34% of
11:57Christians, and 66% of Christians would be Protestant. Which deprives them of the Virgin Mary.
12:06Mary, of the Eucharist, of Unity, and of all that the Lord entrusted to the Church
12:13Catholic that she would do. Because it's fine that we are Christians, but it's not the same as John.
12:19What the hell, right?
12:23What are we doing, brothers? Look, in 1900 we still had one billion people to evangelize.
12:36In 2005 we still have 4.7 billion people to evangelize.
12:46And by 2025, if we continue on this path, 5.2 billion people remain to be evangelized. That is to say, as progress continues...
12:57The more the world expands, the further away our goal seems. When will we reach it? If we already have it?
13:07more or less close, it gets away and it gets away and it gets away and it gets away and as they say in the
13:12Baseball, and it's gone. And what are we doing, brothers? What are we doing to change?
13:22This situation? Which seriously affects us because, as we have been saying throughout the
13:28Easter, the lack of Christian life, the lack of the Holy Spirit in the life of man, leads him to not
13:35It's better to have control over your emotions than to have no control over your passions. And that's why we have a
13:41The world is destroyed. That's why we have so many divorces. That's why we have so many problems.
13:46Intrafamily violence. That's why we have so much violence. That's why we have so much injustice. Because God no longer...
13:53It is present in the life of humanity. We have been increasingly marginalizing it. And we have a
14:03A very serious responsibility. Imagine what parents would think. Imagine if you told your
14:14Son, please go get the sodas. Or better yet, go and get the oxygen for your grandmother, because she needs it.
14:22Oxygen to live. And the kid started playing Nintendo or something like that, right? And when you
14:30You arrive, where's the oxygen? Oh, I forgot! Oh, I was here watching television!
14:41Well, I didn't tell you to go.
14:42Imagine how the Lord will feel when He sees that His church has not done what it should have done.
14:52what we have done. That after two thousand years, instead of gaining ground on the world, we are
14:59losing. We wouldn't even maintain 34 percent by 2025. We will have
15:08lost three percent worldwide. But that three percent of a very large amount, of nine thousand
15:18millions, which represent many billions of people who do not know Jesus.
15:27And the worst part is that those who will come to know him in 2025 will not do so thanks to us.
15:33but to our separated brethren. And they're going to develop a fragmented church. And I don't want
15:41To say that they don't do a wonderful job in evangelization? Of course they do. But let's not talk about it.
15:48Let's talk about them. Let's talk about ourselves. It was to us that this was entrusted two thousand years ago, and
15:55We truly still claim to be the original church founded by Christ. What
16:01What are we doing?
16:05What are we doing?
16:09The important thing is not what we've done. Here are the numbers, hard data, taken from
16:16Statistics, we're not making things up here. We're just stating the facts.
16:22Right now. We can, if we want, reverse these statistics. Not only in quantity, but also in what
16:32It's good that the evangelical brothers can reach this number, which I didn't calculate, I didn't figure out how many.
16:40They would be the brothers; I didn't figure out how many that 66% of 2.7 would be, but I'll leave that as homework for you.
16:50That would be roughly 1.3, 1.4 billion, 1.6 billion. If they raise 1.6 billion
17:04and we could return the statistics to only 22% leaving, as it was in 1900 and
17:11If we got our act together, by 2025 the amount we had of
17:19If Christians were again sixty-something percent, that would mean that we
17:25We would have, not only did they increase to 1.2, we would have at least some
17:314 million more, which would make a total of 5 billion. Of the nine we would have
17:35advanced to almost 40%. But what does that imply? That Catholics stop being passive, stop
17:45from watching television and complaining all the time that it's too hot, that
17:50He feels ashamed, wondering how he's going to talk, because of all the excuses we make, like...
17:56We saw last time that we felt ashamed to talk about Jesus Christ. Only if we change
18:04This is how we're going to reverse these numbers. And then yes, it's great that the brothers
18:11May evangelicals continue to advance and achieve what the statistics here predict. That's great.
18:18It would be terrible if we didn't increase our efforts fivefold. If we didn't do what they were doing.
18:25They do, that from 1900 to 2005 they grew 10 times, imagine if we grew
18:34If we did that 10 times right now, we'd wipe out the entire world population. Because if we had
18:42If we had one million Catholics and grew tenfold, we would have 10 million and nothing more.
18:46There are going to be 9 million inhabitants, so we're over the limit. That means we would be
18:50Evangelizing Venusians and Martians, I don't know who else. To complete the issue,
18:56Huh? Because that was the goal, to reach 10 million. But since we ran out here, well...
19:02We're still following them on another planet. I wanted to share these statistics now because they're truly...
19:09They are harrowing. They are harrowing because they tell us about something we haven't done and that is necessary.
19:18How can we change our society? How can they believe if no one preaches to them? Paul says.
19:28How? Well, no, there's no way. If you don't preach in your school, if you don't preach in your neighborhood,
19:36If you don't preach at your job, if you don't talk about Jesus Christ to others, then
19:42How can they believe? They won't believe. We have to evangelize. And for that, as we say
19:51As we saw recently, the Lord equipped us. In chapter 13, first, in chapter
20:02Luke 24, verse 49, says, do not leave the city until
20:11Do not be clothed with power from on high. The word he uses for clothed is the same
20:18which he uses in chapter 6 of the Letter to the Ephesians, when he speaks of the armor of the Christian.
20:26That is, God, at the moment of your baptism, at that moment,
20:32At that moment, he equipped you. He gave you everything you need to go on this mission.
20:41I imagine that when soldiers are about to be sent on a mission, they are given everything.
20:45His team, right? We see now these civil force people who are armed to the teeth,
20:49Right? And we suddenly see the soldiers carrying their backpacks, canteens, and pistols.
20:56and the rifle and the machine gun and the bullets and well, everything they need
21:00Because they are going on a mission. The Lord was sending us on a mission, for He also gave us the equipment.
21:08necessary to do so. Today in the second reading we heard how the gifts are discussed.
21:15and of the charisms. In chapter 12 of the Letter to the Corinthians and in chapter 12
21:23From the Letter to the Romans, we find how the church has been equipped with a series
21:32of gifts, with a series of charisms, with which we cannot say, oh Lord, for it is
21:38How did he do it? No, right? It's like being sent out for soft drinks. And why?
21:45You didn't bring them? Well, it's because you didn't give me any money. Oh, right. No, but I did give you money. Why?
21:53Why didn't you bring them? Oh, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, um,
21:58I equipped you, I gave you all the gifts and all the charisms that you, as a church, needed. In
22:12Pentecost, the beginning of Christianity, is where the mystery of the Church began.
22:20The mystery of the church is preaching, and that is why we see that once filled with the Spirit
22:24The apostles set out to preach. What follows is in the text we didn't read.
22:30Today, from the book of Acts of the Apostles, we will find there the first sermon.
22:36Pedro's. And look, look at the effect of this song. If you'd like to go, that's fine, I didn't bring it here.
22:45Among the things I have, but I think it's important regarding the statistics, because...
22:49Numbers are numbers, right? There's no fuss about it, and there's no room for that kind of thing.
22:53There, numbers are numbers. Chapter 2 of the Acts of the Apostles.
23:10It says, verse 40, is the end of the first evangelistic discourse, okay? It's the first one
23:20Every time the church speaks of Jesus Christ and invites conversion, it already told us they were there.
23:28People of childbirth, Elamites, and all that, huh? Very good. Verse 40. With these and others
23:34Peter spoke to them and advised them, saying, “Stay away from these wicked people.” Verse 41.
23:42So those who heeded his message were baptized, and that day their number was added to the number of those born in the church.
23:48To the believers, about three thousand people. With a single speech. Okay? If we read it all,
23:59I don't think it would take us ten minutes to read Peter's entire speech. In ten minutes
24:05He won over three thousand people. Pepe Prado says, today we wouldn't win even with three thousand speeches.
24:15One. Imagine if we continued at this speed. Three thousand people per speech. You, brothers,
24:28If each of you were to make it your mission to warn one person, to convert one person, to speak to one person about Jesus Christ,
24:40to insist, as the apostle Saint Paul says to Timothy, in season and out of season, with opportunity
24:45And without her. Not in a week, but in a year. By the next Pentecost, we wouldn't all fit.
24:56in this temple. In one year. One. One each. We wouldn't all fit here anymore. Right now we are
25:06about 70% capacity. One more that each of us brought. A little friend,
25:12A little friend. Hey, they invite them like that, right? They don't invite the kids to their house.
25:17Hey, Dad, I want to invite Juanito to come stay. Isn't that right?
25:20Friends, of course we can. Young and old, all of us who are here.
25:30Here. And next year, bring one. Just one, not three thousand. With three thousand speeches,
25:40Win one. Next year, we won't all fit in this temple. This year.
25:47Next year, year two, we wouldn't fit in this one or any other. In year three,
25:58four, five and in ten years, of course we can gather the five million, five billion.
26:05If each of the Christians, especially the lazy Catholics,
26:11I was going to say a swear word, but I held back because they're filming me.
26:15They started pulling. Of course! Can't we bring one more to mass?
26:28You have a year to do it, huh? It's not for tomorrow.
26:31One year. One year. 365 days. To pull one person each. A friend from college,
26:43A friend from school, a friend from work, a neighbor. One.
26:50Of course we can. The thing is, do we want to? The thing is, do we make the decision?
27:02And look, my brothers, as I have told you on many occasions, this is to our detriment.
27:07I'm not saying a hundred years ago because I wasn't born yet, but forty years ago, forty-five or fifty years ago,
27:16forty-five years old, fifty when I was ten,
27:21I could go out and play in the street with my friends.
27:24And not out there.
27:29I lived in the Mitras neighborhood, which we are remembering was at that time,
27:33The colony extended as far as Ruiz Cortines. Beyond Ruiz Cortines there was nothing.
27:38And I used to ride my bike with my friends when I was twelve years old,
27:42So I was going to some farms that were around there, we were going as far as the seven little hills,
27:46by bicycle, all afternoon.
27:47My mom wasn't worried at all.
27:53We would go to football matches, we would go cycling.
27:57I could go out and play.
28:00At my place,
28:03I think those who remember the Chocomil era or earlier will remember this.
28:07Who was closing their doors?
28:10At night nobody locked their doors.
28:13Outside our houses were the rocking chairs.
28:15I remember my parents' house,
28:18that there were two metal rocking chairs there,
28:20And they were there all their lives.
28:25Nobody took them.
28:26I remember going downtown with my dad,
28:30On one occasion when we were going to buy something he needed, a microphone,
28:33I don't know what story.
28:36Father Mier.
28:38Yes, Father Mier.
28:39Father Mier, where the pink zone is right now.
28:42And I remember my dad getting out of the car,
28:48He left the keys there.
28:50He went to buy what he needed,
28:53I mean, it didn't take us any time at all.
28:54I was definitely just going to buy something like that,
28:5610, 15 minutes,
28:58and left the keys inside.
29:01Of course, the car is open.
29:05Right now.
29:06You need to set 10 alarms,
29:07and a dog, and a guard dog,
29:08and one from the civil force there watching over your car.
29:11And see if you can find it when you get back.
29:20What we have done is to our own detriment, brothers.
29:24By not evangelizing,
29:25we have let the enemy
29:27take possession of the heart of man
29:30and turn it into a dangerous being for ourselves.
29:35All of this has been to our disadvantage.
29:41And it will continue to be at a disadvantage.
29:43What will become of these kids who can no longer go out to the corner store?
29:46What will happen in our society in 2025?
29:53What will humanity be like in 2025?
29:56where only 2.6 billion people
30:02Are they going to be Christians?
30:04And the others?
30:06You know what you're going to do.
30:08In other words, we need,
30:13Yes, on this Pentecost,
30:15Hey, what am I doing?
30:18What did the Lord ask of me?
30:21Go and make disciples.
30:23Just as the Father sent me,
30:25I am sending them to you.
30:26And he says, "And where are these guys?"
30:28Then don't send them.
30:29No, they're playing here, sir.
30:30Come, come, look.
30:30They're watching TV here.
30:32The other one is over there in football.
30:33The other one I don't know what.
30:34The other one I don't know what.
30:34Here they are.
30:35They are not there on the mission.
30:36They are not doing what you asked them to do.
30:42And he gave us the equipment.
30:45Gifts and charisms.
30:47Mainly, today we have heard
30:48in the letter,
30:51in the book of Acts of the Apostles,
30:53a wonderful gift.
30:56It's called the gift of tongues.
31:00This gift of tongues,
31:02we listened to today,
31:03that descended like a great flame,
31:06flame of fire.
31:07And from this flame of fire,
31:09They began to be distributed.
31:11And it's very interesting,
31:13Yesterday, when I was reading it in Greek,
31:14It's extremely interesting.
31:16Because the point is that it was
31:18only one fire comes down.
31:21And that's why he says,
31:22like tongues of fire.
31:24Because that's what we call them, right?
31:26The tongues of fire.
31:27I mean,
31:28those flames,
31:29Well,
31:29those flames,
31:30they began to be distributed,
31:32in each one,
31:33of those who were present,
31:35as a sign of presence,
31:38of God in their hearts,
31:39of the Holy Spirit.
31:41And that's not a coincidence either.
31:43that are called languages.
31:46Tongues of fire.
31:48Fire is something that embraces,
31:50It's something that consumes.
31:51When we say,
31:52man,
31:52I'm feeling really horny,
31:53I'm going to...
31:54Fire is passion.
31:59With that passion, Pedro left.
32:03With that passion,
32:04It is with this that he conquered
32:05three thousand people that day.
32:07Because?
32:07Because he brought the fire.
32:10The fire of the Spirit.
32:12Of those languages.
32:15Of those languages.
32:16And those languages,
32:18in the passage we have read today,
32:22It has its dual manifestation,
32:24as has always been the case in the church.
32:25That action of the Spirit,
32:27which is the fundamental charism
32:28for evangelization,
32:30It has to do with language.
32:33Because she's the one I talk to.
32:35He who has no tongue,
32:36Well, I don't understand it.
32:39The one who has lost his language
32:40on some occasion,
32:40well no,
32:41He can't understand him.
32:43We need language to speak.
32:46That's why languages exist,
32:47the gift of tongues.
32:49And to evangelize,
32:50We need this language to work.
32:53in two ways.
32:55One for inside
32:56and another one out.
32:58One to talk to God
33:00and continue this dialogue,
33:02in this meeting,
33:03that continues to train me
33:05to evangelize.
33:06Because what I'm going to talk about
33:07It doesn't come from me.
33:08Remember that Jesus says,
33:10what I tell them
33:11That's what I heard from the Father.
33:13He speaks on behalf of the Father.
33:17And we talked
33:18in the name of Christ.
33:21So we need
33:22a tongue inwards
33:23and a tongue sticking out.
33:26A language that speaks with God
33:27and a language that speaks
33:29with men.
33:31Tongue in,
33:33the tongue to speak with God,
33:35It's called glossolalia.
33:37It is a gift in which,
33:41as Saint Paul narrates,
33:44It is a particular form
33:46to talk to God.
33:48I want us to read two texts.
33:49First Corinthians 14:2.
33:51Says,
34:01one who speaks in strange tongues
34:03Speak to God
34:04and not to human beings
34:06because nobody understands him.
34:08It is a gift we have heard
34:09in the charismatic renewal
34:11and from there it has spread
34:12to the Christian community in general.
34:15It is a gift that is born at Pentecost
34:18And it's a gift we all need.
34:20to talk to God.
34:22Certainly not everyone
34:23they may have it manifested
34:25as it is in this text
34:27or as it sometimes manifests
34:29within the prayer meetings
34:31in which indeed
34:32It makes no sense at all.
34:35What the text is trying to tell us
34:36in glossolalia
34:37We need to have
34:39a dialogue with God.
34:40We need to have this language,
34:43this way of communicating with God.
34:46It's clearer now.
34:47if we look at Romans 8.
34:51It is verse 26
34:56says
34:59the same way
35:00the Holy Spirit
35:02It helps us in our weakness.
35:04because we don't know how to pray
35:05as it should be
35:06but the Spirit himself
35:07Pray to God for us
35:09with moans
35:10that cannot be expressed
35:11with words.
35:12There it is again
35:13the reference
35:14to the gift of glossolalia.
35:17It's a gift
35:18that pushes us
35:19to talk to God
35:20with moans or without moans
35:22It's talking to yourself
35:23It's talking to God
35:24that dwells in our hearts
35:26so that in that dialogue
35:27Let him continue to instruct
35:28our life
35:29and keep heating it up
35:31so that from there
35:32we can use
35:34the other manifestation
35:35of the gift.
35:37The other demonstration
35:38of the gift
35:39is called
35:40xenoglossia
35:41and it has to do with
35:43with
35:44the
35:45the form
35:46to express ourselves
35:47so that everyone
35:48so they can understand us
35:49they tell us
35:50today in the text
35:52that we have heard
35:53of facts
35:53among those who attended
35:55There were Medes
35:56births
35:56Elemites
35:57People were coming from the sea
35:58of Phrygia
35:59of Egypt
36:00in the end
36:00from all places
36:01acquaintances from that time
36:03and says
36:04and all
36:05They heard it
36:05talk
36:06in the same language
36:08in their own language
36:09pretend
36:11that I
36:12out with Chinese
36:14TRUE?
36:15you Mexicans
36:17and then
36:17I am saying
36:19And you are understanding
36:24siblings
36:24that's why
36:25you must
36:25of doing this
36:26and the other
36:26What's up?
36:29if he's talking
36:29in Chinese
36:30this
36:30This is Chinese
36:31and we heard him speak
36:32That's it.
36:33xenoglossia
36:35And if there were here
36:36Chinese
36:37this
36:38Russians
36:39Germans
36:40and of all
36:41And I speak
36:41in Spanish
36:42and the gift
36:43it manifests
36:44all
36:45They would understand me
36:47in their own language
36:49It's called the gift
36:50of xenoglossia
36:51It is the gift
36:52with which
36:53he equipped them
36:54to preach
36:55not so that
36:57Ah, let me see.
36:58if it gives me
36:59He gives me the gift
36:59because they are
37:00commanding from the company
37:01right now to China
37:02so
37:03I save myself
37:05about the course
37:05TRUE?
37:06No
37:07It's not for doing
37:09business this
37:10It's for preaching
37:13if it's for preaching
37:16they say
37:17that when he arrived
37:18San Francisco
37:19Xavier
37:21to evangelize
37:22this
37:23the whole part
37:24there of
37:24of the Philippines
37:25and all that part
37:26TRUE?
37:26because they were talking
37:27They spoke Tagalog
37:28and they say
37:29that he spoke
37:31in Spanish
37:31he had never
37:32known as Tagalog
37:33and he spoke
37:35in Spanish
37:35and the indigenous people
37:36the people who lived
37:37there
37:37I understood him
37:38perfectly
37:40in their language
37:40I mean
37:43It's not something
37:43what happened
37:44just there
37:44It's something
37:45which continues to happen
37:46But it's happening now.
37:47in a way
37:48very important
37:49And that's why
37:49Today I want
37:50ask them
37:52beg them
37:53as Saint Paul says
37:54I beg you
37:55before God
37:55that they ask him today
37:56to the Lord
37:57the gift of tongues
37:58It doesn't stop at an assembly
38:01no no no
38:02not to grab
38:03and go to China
38:04no no no
38:05but truly
38:08in order to comply
38:09the task
38:09We need to talk.
38:11with God
38:12and we need to talk
38:14with people
38:15of our time
38:17Today the gift of tongues
38:19It helps us
38:20so that the children
38:21understand us
38:22because they don't understand us
38:23And that makes sense.
38:25They speak another language
38:27today the kids
38:27Oh man
38:28It's really cool
38:29excellent
38:33which is cool
38:33No way, Dad!
38:35stains
38:36stain
38:37stain
38:37that of that
38:38What are you talking about?
38:40It's a gift
38:44which makes it easier for me
38:46the power
38:48communicate
38:49with people
38:50all of us
38:52siblings
38:53I think that in general
38:54well nobody
38:55I was going to China
38:55to evangelize
38:56nor is he going to Africa
38:58to evangelize
39:00but we have
39:02an entire society
39:04to evangelize
39:05We have a lot
39:06of kids
39:06who don't understand us
39:07in our places
39:09work
39:09or study
39:10because we talk
39:11different languages
39:13children
39:14that they don't understand
39:15to the parents
39:16and parents
39:16that they don't understand
39:17to the children
39:18because we don't talk
39:21the common language
39:22And this was
39:24the big problem
39:25you will remember
39:26that all this
39:27begin
39:27well in the tower
39:28of Babel
39:29when pride
39:31of man
39:31when pride
39:33of man
39:34wanted to conquer
39:36bye
39:36by his own
39:38tale
39:38and there we
39:40we divide
39:41and then
39:41we started talking
39:42all
39:43so
39:44We don't understand each other
39:45And that's happening today.
39:46And that's why
39:47It's really difficult.
39:48evangelize
39:48because we don't
39:50we understand
39:51something that is
39:52doing wonderfully
39:53the Holy Father
39:55It's about starting to talk
39:56our language
39:57It's about starting to talk
40:00with the signs
40:01and the elements
40:01that correspond
40:03to society
40:04of this 21st century
40:05no to the terms
40:07and to the signs
40:08with which
40:09They spoke in another time
40:10now that I was
40:12in spiritual exercises
40:13last week
40:15the east
40:16he
40:17the preacher
40:19he told us
40:20that on one occasion
40:21One of his brothers arrived
40:23He is a missionary
40:23of Guadalupe
40:24and then
40:25who was on the mission
40:27and then
40:28arrive
40:30a missionary
40:31but Spanish
40:32and then
40:34they were there
40:35a group of children
40:36and he began to tell them
40:38Oh, and you guys
40:39How are you?
40:39Oh, that's great!
40:40God blessed
40:41And so, right?
40:43and then
40:43one says to the other
40:44look
40:45They speak the language
40:47of the liturgy
40:48What a strange language.
40:52That's right?
40:52oh well
40:53speak like they speak
40:54well
40:55the liturgy
40:56because
40:57thus the texts
40:58TRUE?
40:58that you and us
40:59now
41:00have been changed
41:00oh well
41:01This still exists
41:02No?
41:03so
41:03there is one
41:04there is a barrier
41:06there of language
41:07No?
41:09Well
41:09language
41:11that God
41:11has put
41:12in our heart
41:13It is love
41:15It is love
41:18we speak inwardly
41:22with love
41:23through the gift
41:24of glossolalia
41:26and we talked
41:27language
41:29of love
41:29with people
41:31that is near us
41:32That's it.
41:34the first element
41:36in evangelization
41:37charity
41:39charity
41:41that's why
41:43if you look closely
41:45in chapter 12
41:46in the end
41:47when he is speaking
41:48all this cast
41:50of the gifts
41:50says
41:52I'm going to talk to you
41:53of the gift par excellence
41:55which is the gift
41:56of love
41:56that's why
41:58our evangelization
41:59she got so stuck
42:01here in Mexico
42:01because while
42:03that they were coming
42:03to talk to us
42:04of the eternal God
42:06because at the same time
42:07They were stepping on our necks.
42:08and they enslaved us
42:09Who's going to
42:11believe?
42:13Who would want to?
42:14to be part of it?
42:16you just want
42:16to be part
42:17so that you don't
42:18step on the neck
42:19TRUE?
42:20but not because
42:21you are convinced
42:22that this be
42:22the best option
42:23instead
42:24the pagans
42:25in the first stage
42:26of the church
42:27Imagine that
42:28the gods
42:29They were very bloodthirsty.
42:30They were quite terrible
42:32all the other gods
42:33and suddenly
42:34they are presented
42:35the God of love
42:36the God of forgiveness
42:37the God of mercy
42:39the God who tells him
42:40to that woman
42:41that was
42:41Well, they caught her.
42:42caught red-handed there
42:43Who condemns you?
42:45nobody
42:45me neither
42:46Oh Carlitos
42:47I didn't understand that.
42:48I want that
42:50I want to live
42:51with a God
42:52that he loves me like this
42:53That's why people
42:55who doesn't speak
42:56inwards
42:57with God
42:57He cannot speak
42:59outwards
42:59with one's neighbor
43:00Because he's not going to do it.
43:02with love
43:02the first word
43:04that we have to give
43:05it is not exactly
43:08well, a sermon
43:10so that you
43:11They killed him
43:11They didn't kill him
43:12No
43:12the first word
43:13today for the people
43:14of our century
43:15is
43:16God loves you
43:17This was the kerigma
43:20God loves you
43:22And you have to tell him
43:26that God loves him
43:27with your own life
43:28Why the brothers
43:32They have advanced so much
43:34in his preaching?
43:36Here are the statistics
43:37Why have they advanced so much?
43:41because the first preaching
43:42what do they do
43:43It's when you're in need.
43:45brother
43:46I know that you
43:47He lost his wife
43:48this
43:48Here we are
43:50the community
43:50to help him
43:51to support him
43:52What can we offer you?
43:53We take care of the children
43:54We help you with tuition fees
43:56We bring you food
43:57the word
43:59of charity
44:01that language
44:02Everyone understands it
44:03that language
44:04that the father understands
44:05when you help him
44:06when you are helpful
44:08with your dad
44:08with your mom
44:09that language
44:10that the son understands
44:11even though I say shido
44:12and I don't know what else
44:13understands the language
44:14of love
44:15of charity
44:15of understanding
44:17that language
44:18who understands
44:18the coworker
44:19that you see it
44:21who is working hard
44:22and you can get there
44:23and help him
44:23I'll help you
44:24I support you.
44:24that you see it
44:26that he is worried
44:26and you approach him
44:27What's wrong, brother?
44:29cheer up
44:29God loves you
44:30He has a plan for you.
44:31It is language
44:35of love
44:35is with the
44:36we have each other
44:37that bring closer
44:38we have to leave
44:40already our passivity
44:41and begin
44:43to interest us
44:44for salvation
44:44of our brothers
44:46for his life
44:47in his human life
44:49their needs
44:50when the Holy Spirit
44:52is working
44:53in us
44:54Remember, it's love.
44:55Roman 5.5
44:57God has poured out
44:58his love
44:59in our hearts
45:00And this is what today
45:02the Catholic Church
45:03and all the churches
45:04Christian
45:05They have to do
45:06and we have to leave
45:07already from our passivity
45:08and to care
45:09a peanut
45:10in our world
45:11And let's see who evangelizes.
45:12Well, nobody's going to do it.
45:13And you see, nobody
45:14has done
45:15Here are the statistics
45:16And if we continue like this
45:18siblings
45:19What world
45:20They are waiting for them
45:21to the kids
45:21of 2025?
45:22and it's not much
45:23It's 10 years
45:24We'll see.
45:25you and I
45:26Let's see
45:30we could see
45:33a reality
45:34different
45:35each
45:37has to use
45:38all media
45:39that are within their reach
45:40Now, thank God
45:42Well, now too.
45:43through evangelization
45:44active
45:45we will be able to
45:45to have the Bible
45:46we begin
45:47God willing
45:48tomorrow
45:49with the classes
45:50from the Bible
45:51now
45:51online
45:53so that it no longer has
45:54that people go out
45:55I mean, good
45:56he can't go
45:56to all the houses
45:57Well, then
45:58I can enter now
45:59through that thread
45:59Well, because now
46:01It's not even a thread
46:02enters who knows
46:03because of how
46:03But that's where it comes in.
46:04through the air
46:06enter
46:07and well
46:09each one
46:10invent
46:11Do something
46:12Don't stay there
46:13last week
46:15they said
46:15don't stay
46:17there
46:17unemployed
46:18siblings
46:20Enough
46:20Enough
46:22already
46:22Enough
46:23Catholic
46:25Get your act together
46:27We need to change
46:28the world
46:28I'm not going to change it
46:30I, the Lord's Prayer
46:30not even with my class
46:31from the Bible
46:31online
46:32I can't do it
46:33each
46:35hey
46:35each
46:36commit
46:37I already have the plans
46:39of the expansion
46:40I already have them
46:45ready
46:46But what for?
46:49Let's build it
46:49right now
46:50let's commit
46:53I commit
46:54to build the temple
46:55and expand it
46:55so they fit here
46:56one thousand three hundred
46:57twenty people
46:58and you commit
46:59next year
46:59to bring a person
47:00each
47:01chubule
47:02Do we go in or not?
47:06we went in
47:06there are loaves
47:08there are loaves
47:08there are loaves
47:09Yes, because throughout the commitment
47:12that's when
47:13The preaching is beautiful
47:16TRUE?
47:16the statistics
47:17Yes, but now
