00:02Hello it is Monday the 31st of August and this is South Australia's weekly weather update. We have
00:08multiple cold fronts moving through down the south bringing some light showers and drizzle
00:12throughout the week but not very cold temperature because spring is really started. Okay so this is
00:17Monday here looking now at Tuesday the first of the light showers moving through then Wednesday
00:23nothing Thursday nothing for Friday which is the major rainfall and wind day for South Australia
00:28this week although the totals themselves are relatively low okay we're talking anywhere from
00:33sort of one to maybe five to ten mils more likely on the five sort of side of that. Then
00:39on Saturday
00:39it eases as high pressure starts to move through and on Sunday the next sort of front moves through
00:44which we're seeing as well rather some larger totals sort of Sunday Monday but that's quite far
00:49out so we're not really going to discuss that very much today as we don't have a bunch of confidence
00:52in it but yeah Sunday could definitely be another rainfall day on the way. All right as for temperature
00:57we're seeing relatively standard start of spring temperatures for the south of the state but up in
01:02the north it's slightly warm compared to where it could be. This is the Friday wind fields forecast
01:08and as you can see we have some strong winds 40 to 63 kilometers an hour into the interior of
01:13the
01:13state and also moving through as this cold front arrives with that rain. Okay now let's have a look at
01:19Cummins in South Australia for our little weather update to get the story. As you can see we have these
01:24light showery drizzle patterns for most of the week five mils arriving there on Friday and then
01:29again we've got that next sort of rain system coming in one mil on Sunday nine mils on Monday but
01:35if we
01:35look at the confidence on that Monday that's anywhere between zero and 36 mils which is an incredibly large
01:41range of confidence and all of those 36 mils really do seem to be coming from the Canadian model
01:46so we will touch on that with our weather update this Sunday to see how that system looks like it's
01:51going
01:51to start developing. Okay that is our weather update South Australia showers throughout the week
