00:03Hello, it is Monday the 31st of August and this is your weekly weather update for WA for the first
00:08week of spring. Welcome! Alright, so we have a marine wind warning for the south of the state
00:13currently and we'll have these on and off throughout the week as a series of cold fronts move through.
00:18The main cold front arriving Saturday and Sunday. Alright, let's have a look at the rainfall this
00:22week. There is not much rainfall across about anywhere in WA, so Tuesday potentially showers
00:27in the south. Same for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday is where the main front, Saturday and
00:33Sunday is the main front that comes through down here in the south coast or southwest coast and
00:39same for Sunday it's moved across. So most of the weather that we're seeing is towards the weekend
00:43again that's a little bit far ahead so these numbers in themselves aren't going to be particularly
00:47helpful. Okay, this is the temperature map now while the rest of the country is going to be seeing some
00:53unseasonably warm temperatures for the start of spring. Across WA it's pretty standard weather
00:58that we're seeing across the state even if we're looking a bit hot up here it's the mean for the
01:04area. Okay, but as for wind it's Saturday that has very strong winds, you know 40 to 63 kilometer
01:10hour gusts coming in towards that evening on Saturday and lasting into Sunday as well. So let's have a look
01:15at Geraldton which is just north of Perth and we can see these sort of typical weathers, highs in the
01:21high
01:21teens and lows in the low teens with potential scattered showers throughout the week except
01:26for Saturday when we get that seven mils and Sunday four mils as the larger front moves through
01:31the area. Okay, there is a potential chance of fog across the week but nothing particularly strong
01:37I don't believe that I've seen there in the forecast. All right, so that is it for WA this week.
01:42This rain is arriving Saturday and Sunday so the confidence in that rainfall at least how much is
01:47coming and where it's landing is relatively low but we do know that if we're going to get extreme
01:51weather this week it's on the Saturday and Sunday. Okay, stay safe out there have a great week and we'll
