00:02Hello South Australia, it is Sunday the 25th of October and this is your weather update for the
00:06week ahead. There is obviously some severe weather occurring at the moment with very
00:10strong rain and there were some storms earlier on this week. We'll have a look at how that
00:14develops this week. Currently there is a sheep graziers warning in the southeast of the state.
00:19This will likely ease in the next few days as the rain moves on. It might come back in the
00:24week as
00:24some more rain arrives on the way but let's have a look. All right this is Sunday's rainfall
00:28possibility. We can see large areas at the southeast 15 to 25 mils on the way. This is not
00:33got severe wind behind it but potential gusts and potential storms. The storms do seem to be
00:37concentrated much more in New South Wales though so a low risk there. If we have a look into Monday
00:42it's mostly eased. We have high pressure building in the Bight which is bringing settled weather for
00:46most of the week. Friday is the next storm system that arrives so a little bit of rain here in
00:51the
00:51northwest and in the northern parts of South Australia which is connected to this sort of
00:56low pressure system in WA. More rain here on Wednesday for the north of the state. Five to
01:01ten mils across much of that northern area and this is when the low pressure system starts to move
01:07across into the southwest. A possible severe rain 15 to 25 mils in some pockets but mostly five to
01:1315 mils there and then it's Friday where it starts to move into our more populated regions and our more
01:19densely agricultural areas. Again with some strong rain of 15 to 25 mils possible there. Saturday it's moved
01:25off into the east coastal region so mostly dry across South Australia and similar there for
01:31Sunday a light shower two to five mils possible in the southeast of the state. All right so let's have
01:38a look actually for that Wednesday because we have that low pressure centre available in the region
01:43if there's some strong wind associated with that. Moving here I think this is Wednesday. Yep we can see
01:51some wind gusts 40 to 63 kilometers an hour so likely a severe wind marine warning there throughout the
01:57week as that system develops across and again it should ease by that sort of Saturday. All right
02:02let's look at the accumulated rainfalls here for South Australia this week. Quite wet for our dry state.
02:07Large areas between 15 and 25 mils and then in the yellow 25 to 50 mils on the way so
02:12quite a bit of
02:13rain there. All right please do be safe with those strong weather systems moving through. Have a great
02:19week and we'll see you next time. Bye!
