00:02Hello Northern Territory, it is Sunday the 25th of October and this is your weather update for
00:06the week ahead. There's quite a bit of rain on the way, storms possible on Wednesday around the
00:10Darwin region, let's get into it. Looking here on Sunday you can see this band anywhere between
00:141 and 5 mils possible across this stretch in the Territory's northern regions. Here on Monday a
00:22similar sort of system but possible severe rain on the way around the north east, the northwest,
00:2715 to 25 mils possible there on Monday. Tuesday same again but even more severe system over here,
00:33a possible 50 to 75 mils behind that system could possibly be a small little cutoff low there driving
00:39that system and extending that rain all the way through to the south of the Territory. That is
00:44likely going to be sort of associated with some storm action so thunder, lightning, possible hail,
00:51unlikely but definitely stormy conditions there. Moving on to Wednesday now we can see that stormy
00:58conditions more closely associated with Darwin and then we have some stronger rainfall down in the
01:03Territory south and very very strong storms likely around the south areas 25 to 50 mils there on
01:10Thursday. All right easing off a bit on Friday but still rain, Saturday as well and Sunday more storms
01:17around the Darwin region so we are really heading into that wet season I think we can I think we
01:22can
01:22mostly confidently call it now that we're heading into that rainy rainy season and it has started.
01:27All right let's look at the accumulated rainfall then this week as you can see large areas 25 to 50
01:32mils will be gathered and up in the very top any possible 50 to 75 mils is on the way.
01:38Do stay safe
01:38this week, have a good one and we'll see you next time. Bye!
