00:02Hello New South Wales it is the 25th of October and this is your weekly weather update. There's
00:07a lot of rain on the way today with some severe weather warnings issued and as for the past few
00:11days as well I suppose in good news that weather is easing as of tomorrow so hopefully this next
00:16week is a little bit better for you and a bit safer. As for the current weather warnings issued
00:20we have marine wind warnings issued for the entire east coast. This pink here is sheet crazy as
00:25warnings which we're seeing down in the south and as well in the north coast region and this yellow
00:29all across here is a severe weather warning for extreme wind or rain most of that is the rain cells
00:34delivering a lot of heavy falls today. Let's get into it this is Sunday's rainfall here we can see
00:40parts are able to receive 25 to 50 mils in a singular day down in the ranges 50 to 75
00:46mils as possible
00:46with the rest of the state largely receiving anywhere between 2 and 25 mils that is a lot of rain
00:52on the
00:52way there. Warm temperatures today maximums in the 30s around a lot of New South Wales that cools off
00:58from tomorrow. So let's have a look now here on Monday as we can see we still have that rain
01:02signature up here in the northern coastal regions anywhere between 15 and 50 mils as possible but
01:07we've dried out in the west of the state. We've dried out here again on Tuesday this is the signature
01:12that we'll be seeing for most of the rest of the week still with a little bit of coastal rainfall
01:15but
01:16much lighter 2 to 10 mils similar there again for Wednesday but drier still Thursday and then Friday is
01:22the next system that starts to come in. It is a front that weakens to a trough over into the
01:27mainland.
01:28What we're seeing here is anywhere between sort of 5 and 15 mils in the west of the state reaching
01:34up into the northern coastal ranges of 2 to 5 mils so more showery lighter rains up here definitely
01:40some heavier falls possible in the west. As for Saturday it's moved over into the east 5 to 10 mils
01:46there available in the green 2 to 5 in the blue with some coastal regions receiving 15 to 25 mils.
01:53The weather has warmed up a little bit we're in the low 20s now as opposed to the 30s which
01:57is what
01:58we've seen last week as that high pressure system that was driving a lot of northerly flow has now
02:02moved off and we have one that's shifted from the west into the east over the area. And this is
02:07Sunday so 5 to 10 mils in the coastal ranges as well. The wind isn't super duper strong if you
02:13are in
02:14the sort of interior of New South Wales coastal winds are quite strong but definitely easing
02:19as those storm systems leave hopefully except for in southern New South Wales we're still seeing
02:24into Monday some of those stronger wind warnings hanging around but as you can see as this sort
02:29of high and ridging extends through to New South Wales winds are easing. All right looking at the
02:34accumulated rainfall for Sunday to Sunday in New South Wales we can see that the east of the state is
02:39receiving 25 to 50 mils with the west of the state receiving between 10 and 25 mils unless you're in
02:44this
02:44little patch so quite a bit of rain on the way there okay. There is with this rain though a
02:49reprieve
02:50from the warmer temperatures so hopefully this does well for filling up any water reservoirs that
02:55you might have coming into summer so please make the most of this system. All right that being said
02:59please do stay safe have a great week and we'll see you next time. Bye!
03:02And then, let's go to our next slide.
03:02And then we will see you next time.
03:02Thank you!
03:03Bye!
