00:00The End
00:40Good evening. It's been a long day ingesting all the Premiership games as well as a fair bit of pizza.
00:46But myself, Richard Foster and Scott Brown are rejuvenated and ready to bring you the best of today's action.
00:52And the action begins at Ibrox, where Rangers were hoping to make it three wins on the spin as they
00:56took on unbeaten Motherwell.
01:00Derrick McInnes has called for calm after the closure of the transfer window as Rangers chase three wins in a
01:05row.
01:05But Motherwell have scarcely come here with greater expectation, having won three of their last five visits to Ibrox after
01:12nearly two decades without one in the top flight.
01:15Derrick McInnes serving the final game of his touchline ban. He makes two changes.
01:20Kostan Nadejkovic and Cammy Devlin drop out the side which beat Falkirk as Dan Neal and Dujon Sterling return.
01:25New striker Kevin Kelsey could make his debut from the bench. It's too soon for winger Badreddin Uanani.
01:32Motherwell make three changes from the team which dismantled 10-man Dundee United.
01:35Gurdwud Rye, Charles Cook and Saeed come in.
01:44Lowry playing against the club at which he started his career.
01:51And a fine start to the season including scoring against Dundee United on Wednesday night.
01:57But Lauren Shankland has a problem here.
02:01Tweaked a muscle by the look of it. Rangers captain and this is a huge blow.
02:08Three goals in his last two games which has won Rangers six points and he's forced off after only eight
02:14minutes
02:15and Ryan Nadejkovic is on. Not the start Derrick McInnes would have wanted.
02:25Moorman comes off Nadejkovic.
02:28He strokes it back to his goalkeeper.
02:30Owen Paulsen, that's poor.
02:33And Nadejkovic stays on his feet and has the simplest of finishes to make it 1-0 Rangers.
02:43And Ryan Nadejkovic could not have dreamt
02:46of a better chance of scoring a goal
02:51after just 12 minutes considering he started on the bench.
02:55Paulsen needs to pick a pass or put it downfield.
02:58He does neither.
03:00And Nadejkovic applied enough pressure to force the mistake
03:03and he gets the ultimate reward.
03:08Rangers in front.
03:11Entirely self-inflicted from a Motherwell point of view.
03:21Sparrow.
03:22Charles Cook.
03:25Maswanisi.
03:2717 premiership goals last season.
03:29Finds Lowry.
03:30And Maswanisi.
03:31Nice touch.
03:33Nice touch.
03:33Not enough conviction in the finish.
03:40Neat football from Motherwell.
03:42Just lacking the killer instinct.
03:47Maswanisi.
03:48And he's touched that.
03:49To the Rangers player.
03:51And now Gassama can start motoring.
03:55And this is real danger now for Motherwell.
03:57They're backpedalling furiously.
03:59It's Gassama.
04:01It's come off the heel of Moorman.
04:08He's really growing into that role off the left.
04:10J.D. Gassama opened up for him on the right foot.
04:19Neal.
04:20Into Kim Min-soo.
04:25He's away from one.
04:27Curls a nice pass into Nadejkovic.
04:29Touches it into the path of Curtis.
04:33Now Gassama.
04:35Now Gassama.
04:35Now Gassama.
04:37Comes back the other way.
04:40And Curtis will have a nibble.
04:42Sends the ball into the box.
04:44Kim's header.
04:45Paulsen save.
04:51Rangers looking a threat on the break especially.
04:57Paulsen does well in the end.
05:02Lowry's touches.
05:03Nice.
05:04Here's Charles Cook.
05:05Slips in.
05:06Lowry.
05:06Lowry cuts in on the right foot.
05:10A comfortable enough stop for Ivor Pandur.
05:14The former Rangers player looking to inflict damage on them.
05:19Not this time.
05:26Neil.
05:31That's a nice flick from Curtis.
05:33And the strike from Sterling is blocked.
05:36Dan Neal.
05:37The stand-in captain.
05:40Oh he's mis-kicked that.
05:42Gassama will go after him.
05:43He's bundled over.
05:44Penalty.
05:49And another mother-in-law mistake.
05:52Gives Rangers the chance to punish them.
05:56Tom Sparrow.
05:58Just over eager.
06:00Eyes are on the ball but.
06:03He flies into Gassama.
06:06Kim Min-soo.
06:08He scored his first Rangers.
06:10Goal.
06:12Misses the target completely.
06:16Pulls it well wide in the end.
06:19And that is a huge let-off for Motherwell.
06:23Well Gassama fancied it.
06:25He backed himself Kim.
06:27Didn't back it up.
06:37Intercepted by Gassama.
06:39Gets the break of the ball.
06:42And this is where he's so dangerous.
06:45Pass is deflected.
06:46Nadiri.
06:47Oh and sliced by Moorman.
06:50Nadiri.
06:53Flicks it forward.
06:55But Motherwell only half away.
06:56Lowry.
06:57Goes down.
06:58But it's Gassama.
07:01Didn't really look like there was much room for a strike there.
07:04JD Gassama.
07:05Caught it well enough.
07:07Dragged wide.
07:12Gassama.
07:13Gassama.
07:14Into Raskan.
07:16Now Dujon Sterling.
07:20Takes on Longolo and puts it into a dangerous area.
07:24Very dangerous.
07:25Gassama denied.
07:28And Faddinger hooks away the rebound.
07:30Just in the nick of time as well.
07:37Excellent ball.
07:39Top save.
07:44Penrice.
07:45Plays it nicely in front of Gassama.
07:48Gassama.
07:50Cut back.
07:51Intercepted.
07:52But Penrice.
07:52Now Kim.
07:53Saved by Paulson.
07:55Curtis scuffs it.
07:56And Penrice onto the post.
07:59Well how did Rangers not score there?
08:04He had so many stabs at it.
08:07Paulson denying Kim.
08:09Curtis never got hold of that one.
08:11Penrice.
08:12Off the post.
08:19Gassama.
08:20Darting into space.
08:26Into the path of Sterling.
08:28Hoists it to the edge of the six-yard box.
08:30Down from Naderi.
08:31Raskan lines it up.
08:32And again.
08:33Off the line by Moorman.
08:37Rangers really should be at least 2-0 in front in this game.
08:44Motherwell clinging on a bit.
08:48Oh given away.
08:50Straight to Yokota.
08:55How many chances are Rangers going to spurn here?
09:00Ibrox getting nervy at the amount of chances Rangers are passing up.
09:05It's another gift here from Motherwell.
09:08And Yokota gets it all wrong.
09:15Kelsey on debut.
09:16Chess it to Naderi.
09:20Naderi continues his run.
09:23This does Penrice.
09:25Penrice.
09:25So it takes a deflection.
09:26It's Kelsey!
09:27Oh!
09:29What an opportunity for a debut goal for the Venezuelan.
09:34He'd like to run that back.
09:39Just gets underneath it.
09:44Three wins in a row for Rangers.
09:46Just the one goal.
09:48That's all they needed.
09:49They could have had more.
09:51But Motherwell's unbeaten run comes to an end in the league.
09:55Rangers 1, Motherwell 0.
09:58I really enjoyed how many chances we created.
10:01I enjoyed the organisation of the team.
10:03Kit Motherwell really at arm's length for a lot of the game.
10:06We're a team who normally get a lot of plaudits for their creativity and the like.
10:12So I thought we'd done both sides of the game really well.
10:14What we didn't do was just put the game to bed in terms of getting that second goal.
10:18Second goal then puts more strain on it.
10:20We come out again.
10:21And it could have been a far bigger scoreline on the chances he's created.
10:24But really pleased with a lot of what we saw today.
10:28First of all, congratulations to Rangers.
10:30I think they were better than us today.
10:32They deserve the three points.
10:33I think the main reason for the result today is two things.
10:43We have a very, very, very, very good keeper that keeps the score down today.
10:50That's one.
10:51The second is that we don't play up to our best today.
10:59So if you want to come to Ibrox and get a result, you need to perform at your best.
11:06And we need to learn from that.
11:09So it's a hatchet of wins for Rangers and probably their most complete performance of the season so far.
11:15Let's start with the goal.
11:16Guys, the only goal in the game, remarkably, it comes from a very poor decision from Alex Poulsen.
11:23Yeah, it definitely was, to be fair.
11:26They don't really deal with the defensive part whatsoever.
11:30And even the ball back from Moorman is not amazing.
11:33But then his decision here, it's an easy pass.
11:36Nice and easy.
11:37And what not to do, Nadiri's not going to get an easier goal, isn't it?
11:41No.
11:42No, I mean, it was calamitous, is the only word.
11:45And it's strange for Motherwell because, you know, maybe other teams with other goalkeepers
11:49who are not used to playing out from the back.
11:51You highlight the pass there, it's an easy pass for him.
11:54And it is for him, he's good with the ball at his feet.
11:56He probably just gets caught in two minds.
11:58And full credit to Nadiri who actually chases him down.
12:01And like Scott says, you will not get an easier finish.
12:04Nadiri had to come on for Lawrence Shanklin.
12:06Let's quickly talk about that.
12:07I mean, that's a huge blow because he suddenly caught fire, hadn't he, Lawrence, in terms of his goals?
12:12Two, three in the space of the last two games.
12:15And Rangers are hoping it's not too bad, an injury, but you just don't know.
12:18Yeah, you can hear McInnes beforehand talking about he might be out for a little while,
12:22which is obviously devastating for himself, but also for Scotland and Rangers as well.
12:27Because, as you say, it's like two goals at the weekend against Falkirk.
12:31He's just started to find his feet capped in, and I'm sure that's probably where he wanted to be.
12:36It was 1-0, but it should have been a lot more, Richard.
12:39Yeah, I think, you know, it's probably the most impressive Rangers performance I've seen
12:43against a decent Motherwell team.
12:45They were relentless, you know, they broke forward at pace, they got the ball into the box.
12:51This is just, he's a bit unlucky, Tom Sparrow.
12:54He's only got eyes for the ball, he thinks he can go and clear it.
12:57Gassama does well, takes the touching.
13:00I mean, it doesn't take much for him to go down right enough, but it probably is just a penalty.
13:04But one of those short, sticky run-ups that I'm not a big fan of, you've got to hit a
13:08target from a penalty.
13:11But yeah, I think, you know, to highlight Gassama here, for me, he was probably Rangers' best attacking threat.
13:17Most of the good things that came from Rangers came through him.
13:20He was aggressive with his running.
13:22I found a bit of confidence that he was maybe lacking last season.
13:24Yeah, absolutely.
13:25You know, he's 22 years old, he won't be the finished article yet.
13:30You see there, I think that ball gets flashed across first time on his left side.
13:35He doesn't, they keep it alive, goalkeeper makes another save.
13:38And full credit to the goalkeeper, actually.
13:39He did come on to have a really good game, despite giving away such a poor goal.
13:44But again, you see Gassama here, picks it up deep in his half and just drives, just positive.
13:49You know, it's a full-back's nightmare.
13:51We don't see it often as wingers who are just wanting to be positive and drive forward.
13:55I think the only thing about him is the last 20 yards of the game.
13:59He gets Rangers up the park so much, but look...
14:02Final decision-making.
14:03That's the biggest thing.
14:05Raskin's opportunity there, like, is a bit unlucky.
14:08And I know he slips a little bit, but that's the front three that could have scored goals today.
14:15The new lads coming in, so that'll be a little bit devastating.
14:18Yeah, and a big chance for Kevin Kelsey on his day.
14:24Yeah, he's...
14:25You will not get a better chance.
14:28Home debut, running onto a ball, eight yards out.
14:31And for the amount of money that he's cost, I'm expecting him to...
14:34I'm sure the goals will come.
14:36The goals will come.
14:37Might have been loads of the ball, but just lacked a cutting edge.
14:39Were you expecting a wee bit more from him today, Scott?
14:41Yeah, Cook up top.
14:42It's unnatural for him to play as a nine, but it was more a false nine coming under.
14:46But they lacked that number nine.
14:48They lacked that quality in the box.
14:49And Cook's link-up play and that willingness to run was decent enough,
14:53but just a natural goal scorer.
14:55Somebody willing to hit shots and, as you say, loads of possession,
14:58but really didn't do much with it.
15:00Yeah, it wasn't their best day at the office.
15:01OK, well, it's been a mixed bag for both Dundee United and Falkirk so far.
15:05The two sides met this afternoon at Tanadice.
15:09Both Dundee United and Falkirk were defeated in midweek.
15:13This weekend, it's a chance to get back to winning ways.
15:15And Falkirk boss John McGlynn will be encouraged
15:18that his side won their only trip to Tanadice last season.
15:23There's no ferry for the Terrors with the left-back replaced by Chubutaru
15:27for his first league start.
15:28Cameron makes his debut.
15:30Tate returns and new signing Iqbal is on the bench.
15:33John McGlynn hands a debut to on-loan Derby County midfielder
15:37Owen Ames, who signed on loan this week.
15:39CJ Faudry drops to the bench.
15:47This is Ryan Strain looking to find space.
15:51And it's out for a Falkirk corner.
15:59Assistant Lee Sharp still in charge in the Dundee United dugout.
16:04Strain ready to take.
16:06There's Murrow with the header.
16:09And bullets it past Walton.
16:12It's a fantastic start for Falkirk.
16:16And the first goal for the ex-DC United striker in Falkirk colours.
16:21And it's a beautiful header.
16:28Falkirk pick up the loose possession.
16:30It's Kraulhaus.
16:34Spinning.
16:35Looking for the space.
16:38Strain offered on the overlap.
16:40Kamara goes in with the challenge.
16:41It sticks with Kraulhaus.
16:43It's worked out wide.
16:45Ames in for Murrow.
16:47And Strain into the side netting.
16:52Well, Jack Walton might have just got enough of a touch in the six-yard area.
16:57John McGlynn is a happy manager.
17:00Yes, the Dundee United keeper making himself big.
17:08Falkirk throw with McCann.
17:11This is good play.
17:14But Benny will pick up in space for Dundee United.
17:19Forbes.
17:22Chibotaro loses it.
17:25Murrow in for Ross.
17:28Ethan Ross continues.
17:31Slip for Owen Ames.
17:34He strikes.
17:35Strong save, Walton.
17:36Spencer helps it back in.
17:38And Ross can't fight the target.
17:41Well, Falkirk have started wonderfully here at Tanadice.
17:44Already looking for a second goal.
17:51Rollins slides forward and continues on to it.
17:55Slip play from Dundee United.
17:58Rollins still charging.
18:01Well defended by Falkirk.
18:05And now look to play out from the back.
18:08Possession.
18:10Lost.
18:11And the strike from Chibotaro.
18:16Was a very strong one.
18:18Look at Scott Bain here.
18:20Just diving down with a strong right hand to tip it away.
18:27Falkirk clear.
18:29Tate swings the ball in.
18:30Sapsford trying to get on the end of it.
18:33He was just an inch away.
18:37The Australian continues to be frustrated.
18:39Just trying to time his run.
18:47Looked in by McCann.
18:50Falkirk attacking again.
18:53It's out for strain.
18:55First time cross.
18:56All the way through to Ames.
18:58And the deflection takes it out for a Falkirk corner.
19:05Falkirk and John McLennan will wonder why they aren't further ahead.
19:10They haven't been able to beat Jack Walton in the Dundee United goal again so far this first half.
19:17Cameron spreads the ball.
19:21United getting numbers forward.
19:23It's back for Lyle Cameron.
19:24Sets.
19:25And it deflects out off Nielsen for a Dundee United corner.
19:28And it's back for the winner.
19:31Lyle Cameron on loan from Rangers.
19:34Used to play just over the road with Dundee in dark blue.
19:39Is there a first half?
19:41Dundee United equaliser here.
19:44Now Swinger.
19:46Goes all the way through.
19:47Camara onto the right.
19:49Blocked and out for another corner.
19:54Perrucci Camara frustrated.
19:57He just wondered if the midfielder was going to hit it first time but he wanted to work it onto
20:01the right side.
20:03There was a white Falkirk wall in the way.
20:09And it drops for Cameron.
20:12Superb double save from Scott Bain.
20:17As Falkirk teammates offer congratulations.
20:25Because they know just how important a double save that was from Scott Bain.
20:30Cameron catches it so sweetly too.
20:38Lee Sharp will have asked for more from his Dundee United side in this second half.
20:44Takes the free kick.
20:45Forbes wins the header.
20:47It's clawed away by Scott Bain.
20:49Randall goes down.
20:51Crowhouse clears for Falkirk.
20:53United are screaming for a penalty.
20:57There's a cloud of tangerine and black around the referee Dan McFarlane.
21:02Award in the year from the ex-Falkirk man captaining United in Dillon Tate.
21:09Let's have another look.
21:11The header from Forbes.
21:14Randall looks to keep it alive.
21:16The VAR check is over quickly.
21:18And play will continue.
21:21Chibotaro with the throw.
21:24Falkirk head it clear.
21:26It drops for Iqbal.
21:28And that is another stunning save from Scott Bain.
21:33Iqbal looking to show his quality after arriving on deadline day through the week.
21:42Just look at how he tries to caress this into the top corner.
21:45Bain equal to it.
21:47Corner taken quickly.
21:48It's Rose.
21:49Rose.
21:50And the United fans behind that goal thought that was destined for the back of the net.
21:59Rose is frustrated with himself.
22:02He did so well at the back post to just creep away.
22:05It's an awkward angle.
22:06He catches it sweetly but not on target.
22:12Forb's heads forward.
22:38Forb's heads forward.
22:41Long from Forbes.
22:44Rose in the battle.
22:46Iqbal onto it.
22:50Now.
22:51Jorl pounces on the stumble.
22:55Ferugia.
22:57Looks for the return.
22:58And he'll get there first.
23:00Pushed away by Bain.
23:03Ferugia slipped on his way through.
23:06It's going to take something very special to beat Scott Bain this afternoon at Tanadice.
23:13Falkert still in front.
23:17Randall with the corner.
23:19Doesn't get into the area to where the Tangerine players are waiting.
23:25Back out for Jorl.
23:27Sweeps the ball in.
23:28It's Forbes!
23:31The masked man is United's hero in Tangerine.
23:35Right at the end.
23:37The defender is facing away from goal when he looks to see if the ball ends up in the back
23:42of the net.
23:42And it does.
23:47Yeah, very frustrated.
23:48If we could just have held out another two points, it would have been massive.
23:52So, I thought we started the game really, really well on the front foot.
23:55Took the game to United.
23:56Created some good opportunities.
23:58Great goal from Big Jacob.
24:00After the other night there, he missed a couple of chances.
24:02So, I'm delighted for him that he's got that goal.
24:05And that's him off and running right now.
24:07One of the ones where he could just have got over the line.
24:09Because an extra two points means a huge, a big, big difference.
24:14But, in reality, you know, Dundee United created numerous chances in the second half.
24:20And I couldn't deny the fact that they were worthy of at least a point, yeah.
24:24I thought the last, kind of, ten minutes of the first half we started coming in, we created a few
24:28chances.
24:29The goal we lost was poor, from our point of view, defensively.
24:33But we built into the game after 35 minutes.
24:36As I say, we were just far too passive in that first instance.
24:40Second half, I thought we dominated the game right from half-time.
24:46And, I thought we should have went on and won the game, to be honest.
24:52There's definite contact there.
24:54They were quite quick to make the decision.
24:56I can't see how that was.
24:58And, certainly, if it had been against us, it had been the other way, then we would have expected, you
25:03know, a penalty to be given there.
25:04So, yeah, really disappointed in that.
25:07You know, I thought it was definitely a storm-all penalty for us.
25:10We'll have a wee look at that shortly.
25:12But, United left it late.
25:13No doubt they deserved a point in the end, guys.
25:16And, as John McGlynn said, Falkirk started the better team, Jacob Morel, with a decent header.
25:21But, poor marking from United.
25:23Yeah, I think it's Dylan Tate here.
25:25It's against him, which is a mismatch straight away.
25:28I know he's probably not meant to mark him.
25:29He's just meant to try and disrupt his run, which he doesn't do, because he gets blocked.
25:32It's brilliant from Brad Spencer.
25:35But, you have to say, although they're zonal, it's a fantastic delivery.
25:38And, it's a great run and a great header, especially, as John McGlynn says, that the, you know, the big
25:44striker missed a few chances in the week.
25:45So, it'd be great for him to get his first goal and see what it means to him.
25:49The world are good, absolutely.
25:50United, Scott, you know, in the second half, threw everything at it, didn't they?
25:55They had 27 efforts in goal in the game, but in that second half especially, the amount of opportunities they
26:00created.
26:00Dundee United was strong.
26:01And, like, I think both managers were spot on, if I'm honest.
26:05And, like, the ball's in the box.
26:08Forbes is unbelievable in there.
26:10And, the amount of headers that he gets in there, that's Forbes there.
26:13Randall's a little bit unlucky.
26:14I'm not sure where the stonewaller penalty is, like, but there is a slight bit of contact.
26:19But, I'm not having that support.
26:20Does he stand on his toe?
26:21He maybe clips the edges.
26:22Let's have a wee look.
26:23Look, he does make the most of it.
26:24Aye, he catches his toe.
26:25But, I've seen those given, do you know, before?
26:27Like, I understand where Lee's coming from.
26:30Like, if it's given against him, he will be raging.
26:34But, at the same time, you'll be claiming for that.
26:36I'd probably be claiming for everything as well.
26:38I think you're happy that those kind of things are not given.
26:42I don't think there's enough contact there.
26:43I know what you mean.
26:44But, yeah, you're just kind of seeing the chances.
26:47And, if it wasn't bad finishing from Dundee United, it was good.
26:49That's Forbes again.
26:50First contact.
26:51That's two out of two.
26:52Yeah.
26:52And, then he gets his goal as well.
26:53But, not just that.
26:55It's Dundee United's willingness in the second half to get bodies in the box.
26:59There's quite a lot of attacking options now as well.
27:01You know, Jim's recruited well in there.
27:02Even Dylan Tate.
27:03I think that's been a really good signing.
27:05Dylan takes a lot of the game.
27:08And, even things like this as well.
27:09Ball comes in, Farouji, there.
27:11Into Dylan Tate.
27:12Lovely football.
27:13Reversal back in.
27:14And, look, he's got to whip it far away corner.
27:16Look, Scott Bain's made an easy save there.
27:18But, if he whips that far away corner, there's a huge opportunity.
27:21Yeah, I agree.
27:21They did eventually get there on 93 minutes.
27:24And, it's that man that you were talking about, Michael Forbes, with an outstanding header.
27:29Yeah, I mean, this was the story of the day in all the games we watched.
27:32Terrible front post corners.
27:34But, they keep it alive.
27:36You know, they don't just throw it back in.
27:38This is a fantastic cross from Jorl.
27:41No back lift.
27:42And, then it's an even better header from Forbes in the middle there.
27:45Because, he actually has to head it back the way.
27:48I mean, the defending from Falkirk is poor.
27:50Scott mentioned there's no contact from the centre-back.
27:53You know, as it ball comes in.
27:54Nelson just in that area.
27:55I think, for me, knowing that it's Forbes.
27:57If I'm playing, he's the most dangerous one.
27:59And, I'm a centre-half.
28:00I'm Lewis Nelson there.
28:01Arm, body contact.
28:03Not letting him move.
28:04And, it's a great finish.
28:05Take nothing away.
28:06What Richie says as well.
28:07It's a fantastic finish.
28:08But, it's the last two minutes.
28:10And, those three points would have been huge for Jorl.
28:12They would have been.
28:13You know, Falkirk started the game really well.
28:16They sit second bottom.
28:17It's early days.
28:18But, they kind of need to start turning good performances into points and wins, don't they?
28:23Yeah, we all know they're a very, very good footballing team.
28:26But, it's those minutes of the games.
28:28It's the last kick of the ball.
28:29It's to hold out.
28:29Sometimes, like, Dundee United came on the second half.
28:31We were very, very strong direct.
28:33Got after them.
28:34And, if they could have held out for that little bit.
28:36That just breeds confidence throughout everybody.
28:39Yeah.
28:39Okay.
28:40Petrogy now as Aberdeen welcome a Kilmarnock side still searching for their first point of the season.
28:46Two teams that have made stuttering starts to the campaign.
28:50Aberdeen are yet to score since the opening weekend of the season.
28:54Kilmarnock are yet to pick up a single point.
28:58Stephen Robinson changes four with centre-back Dan Happy passing a fitness test to return in defence.
29:04On the wings, Tony Yogan and Louis Smith are welcomed back.
29:07There's also a start for forward, Michy Ntelo.
29:11Kilmarnock manager Neil McCann changes three and reverts to a back four.
29:15Jamie Brandon comes in at right back.
29:16Arantish Bola comes into midfield.
29:18While forward, Jannero Daniels makes a first league start in almost a year.
29:35He's still being chased by Hugo and he's done really well to get away from him.
29:39Great play from Cadden, but the pass is astray after all that hard work.
29:44And now Kilmarnock have a decent chance.
29:46Here's Greg Kilty.
29:47Takes the shot.
29:48It flashes just wide.
29:50First decent chance for Kilmarnock.
29:53The space just opened up in front of Greg Kilty.
29:56The Kilmarnock captain.
29:59Unfortunately for Neil McCann, he was just off target.
30:05Aberdeen have won four of their last five league meetings with Kilmarnock.
30:08That was after losing four of their previous five beforehand.
30:13Now both sides are desperately craving a win this afternoon.
30:18Inside to Louis Smith on the edge of the box.
30:21He was always leaning back there, Louis Smith.
30:24Given a start after Steven Robinson said he needed to work on his match fitness after the Celtic game.
30:31That was a decent chance.
30:32Didn't look confident though.
30:39Armstrong looking for options.
30:42Smith in a more central role.
30:45Oh, and he's been hacked down there by Tish Bola.
30:48And that will be an easy yellow card decision for referee John Beaton.
30:53Always going to be a yellow for that.
30:59Armstrong and Kadzen.
31:01Able to work a bit of room here.
31:04Kadzen looks for Smith.
31:06Aberdeen coming forward towards the end of the first half.
31:10Here's Tony Ogan.
31:10Haven't seen too much of him.
31:12He curls.
31:13Oh, he hits the post.
31:14Max Stryak was stranded.
31:17The closest we've come to a goal at Pataudry.
31:20Inches away from breaking the deadlock.
31:23Tony Ogan.
31:27It's been a long time since his team have scored in the league.
31:30That 2-1 win over Hearts.
31:32On the opening weekend.
31:34And that was a bit of a smashing grab.
31:36Oh, that's terrible from Kevin Nisbet.
31:39Gives the ball away.
31:40Kilmarnock on the counter here.
31:41Joe Hugel slips it to Kilty.
31:43Takes the shot.
31:44Oh, that's a brilliant save.
31:46Marius Muller.
31:47The masked goalkeeper.
31:49Saving Aberdeen at the back.
31:51After some dreadful play in the middle by Kevin Nisbet.
31:55Kilty's been Killy's biggest threat.
31:57He looked to pick out the bottom corner.
32:02Lasagna.
32:03One of the three half-time subs.
32:05Steven Robinson clearly not happy with what he saw.
32:10Lewis Smith, his cross.
32:12Deflected and then George Stanger puts it behind.
32:15A small appeal for handball.
32:21Could that appeal have been a little louder?
32:24Where did that hit Tom Lowry?
32:28Hard to say from that angle.
32:29VAR checking.
32:30No penalty awarded.
32:38Inside to Armstrong.
32:40Trying to fizz it down the right-hand side.
32:43Now Lasagna wins it back.
32:46Armstrong plays the one too.
32:48Has the chance to shoot.
32:49Straight down Max Stryak's throw.
32:52Either side.
32:53That would have been a good chance for Aberdeen.
32:56Far too central from Armstrong.
33:01Robinson watching on.
33:04His side having to defend here.
33:07Kilmarnick plays it short.
33:08Then with it in.
33:08And Muller has to paw that over the bar.
33:12Cathal McCarthy with the header.
33:15Well worked from Kilmarnick.
33:17It almost paid off.
33:19Good save from the big German.
33:23Rory McKenzie.
33:26On as a sub just a few moments ago.
33:30Shooting Larson.
33:31Into Eric Ring.
33:33He turns.
33:34Plays it to the back.
33:35Goes Kilti with the header.
33:36Muller with the save again.
33:38That's a few times now he's denied Kilmarnick.
33:41The ball from Brandon.
33:43Back in.
33:43Not the best.
33:45But how about this for a save.
33:46Kilti did everything right.
33:50Cross comes in.
33:52Eric Ring who's been probably the most impressive Kilmarnick player this afternoon.
33:58He's on the run here.
34:00Cadden coming back with him.
34:01He skips away from the challenge and goes down.
34:04And again that's an easy decision for John Beaton.
34:07Lewis Mayo goes into the book.
34:11Ring resurgent in that left hand roll.
34:14A clear foul there.
34:15And a chance from the set piece for Kilmarnick.
34:20It's Tish Bola who stands over it.
34:23Whips it and Muller saves again.
34:26Well you'd imagine he'll be the man of the match for Aberdeen.
34:31Unstoppable so far.
34:36Canoester.
34:37This could drop for Aberdeen in the box.
34:39Almost fell for youngster Findlay Marshall.
34:44Aberdeen still battling for it.
34:45Canoester.
34:46Oh he's caught there by Tish Bola.
34:49John Beaton eventually blows the whistle.
34:51And eventually goes to his top pocket.
34:53Aaron Tish Bola is off.
34:55Kilmarnick will have to play the final few minutes with ten men.
34:59They've battled hard to stay level in this game.
35:04And could have even gone ahead a few times.
35:07But the challenge just got that much harder.
35:09A moment of madness from Tish Bola.
35:12Silly challenge to make when he's already on a booking.
35:16And a pretty easy decision again for the referee.
35:21Can Aberdeen take advantage here?
35:24The cross to the back post.
35:26Over hit really.
35:28Marshall will keep it in though.
35:31Finds Armstrong.
35:33A little back heel flick.
35:36Aberdeen still trying to work this around.
35:38Marshall into the box.
35:39Cuts it across.
35:40Also Lasagna fluffs his lines.
35:43Or maybe it just came to him a little too quickly.
35:48Aberdeen are pressing.
35:50But without much success.
35:53And that really sums up the confidence or the lack thereof of their attack so far this afternoon.
36:06It's an Aberdeen throw on the far side.
36:10John Beaton has his whistle to his lips.
36:13And listen to that reaction.
36:16A goalless draw between Aberdeen and Kilmarnock and the home fans not happy.
36:21It could have been worse were it not for that man Marius Muller.
36:24Kilmarnock will be the happier of the two teams.
36:27They pick up their first point of the season.
36:30It finishes at Potaudry.
36:32Aberdeen nil.
36:33Kilmarnock nil.
36:34We lacked energy as I said.
36:35We looked tired.
36:36Tired decisions.
36:37Too many touches on the ball.
36:38Too many passes backwards.
36:41And we tried to get a reaction at half time.
36:43Which I thought we did to an extent.
36:44But ultimately we didn't deserve to win the game.
36:47We take a point.
36:48It's not good enough.
36:49We accept that.
36:49We accept the criticism.
36:51And we've got an opportunity to get to the semi-final next week.
36:54So I can't dwell on that.
36:55I've got to re-energise the players.
36:57And as you said put belief in them.
36:58I thought the boys were magnificent.
37:00I thought we deserved to win the match.
37:02Their goalkeeper was outstanding.
37:04Some great saves.
37:05I said to them I wasn't overjoyed with the point.
37:08I'm just really pleased at how they showed today.
37:12When sometimes questions are asked of a team.
37:16Who are not maybe picking up the points that are expected.
37:20And I felt that they went forward.
37:22Played the type of football today that we want to play.
37:24And there's a lot to like.
37:27Neil McCann.
37:27A happy man.
37:28Well happy air man.
37:30As his team ended losing streak for Aberdeen.
37:32It's another discouraging performance.
37:35Let's start with Kelly.
37:35They had the better opportunities.
37:37Yeah they were the better football team.
37:39All the way through the game.
37:40And they had a couple of good chances.
37:42They dictated play a lot more.
37:45It's fantastic for Larson.
37:47Jumping in.
37:47Into Kilti.
37:48And look he's a little bit unlucky.
37:49It's a great strike.
37:50It's just a yard or two wide there.
37:52At that opportunity.
37:53But this pretty much sums Aberdeen's day up.
37:56Comes into Kevin.
37:58Nowhere near it.
37:59And then yet again.
38:00Greg Kilti.
38:01Can he cut it back.
38:03But look he goes for it at that point in time.
38:04Not a bad effort.
38:05But the second half.
38:07Again it was chances for Ko Malik.
38:11Yeah.
38:11They just.
38:12You know.
38:12Their level of intensity was good.
38:14They were aggressive.
38:15They stepped forward.
38:16They got the ball out of the box.
38:18Big chance that.
38:18It's a big chance.
38:19I'm not sure he can do much more.
38:21It's just a fantastic save again.
38:23I'm happy with that.
38:24How about put it in the net?
38:25It's a great ball for Laurie.
38:27I mean he could probably go back across the goalkeeper fine.
38:29That's a fantastic free kick from Tish Bola.
38:31And a good save.
38:32But yeah.
38:32Ko Malik were a much better team with and without the ball importantly.
38:35Yeah.
38:36Are you Tish Bola sent off?
38:38Harsh or fair Scott?
38:39I'm saying harsh.
38:40But I thought he was fantastic.
38:41All the way through the game.
38:43He's.
38:43What Ko Malik's been missing.
38:45A fit Tish Bola is key for them.
38:48And like that.
38:49The first one's definitely a yellow card.
38:52This.
38:52He's.
38:53He's so unlucky.
38:53Half pulls out doesn't he?
38:54Yeah.
38:55He's trying to pull away.
38:56And he just clips him at the edge.
38:58And like the referee could really be in a better position.
39:00And he'll see a lot more than what we will.
39:02But.
39:03There's not.
39:04Huge amount of contact there.
39:06And he's that fractionally.
39:07Aye.
39:08What about the Aberdeen player reaction?
39:09Does that.
39:10Yeah.
39:10I think.
39:10The reaction probably buys.
39:12Bies the yellow card.
39:13Now.
39:13It might have been for persistent fouling.
39:15Because he had a few.
39:16I don't think it was.
39:17I think it was for that challenge.
39:18And I just don't think there's enough in it.
39:20For it to be a second yellow card.
39:22Yeah.
39:23Aberdeen.
39:23And they were a hard watch today.
39:26It's been a long day.
39:28And that didn't shorten it any.
39:30They've been a tough watch.
39:31But why were they a tough watch today?
39:34A number of things.
39:35Mainly the speed at which they attacked.
39:37Compared to Kilmarnock.
39:38They were so slow.
39:40You know.
39:40You see here.
39:41Opportunity.
39:41Driving forward.
39:42Cadden.
39:43Drive forward with the ball.
39:44You know.
39:45Your left back should probably be higher.
39:46But you don't.
39:47It's a slow pass sideways.
39:49It's a slow pass.
39:50You know.
39:50Too many touches.
39:52A poor pass across.
39:53Too many touches.
39:54That's a good pass.
39:55Now you've broke the lines.
39:56Now go and attack.
39:57No.
39:57We'll come back the way.
39:58We'll move the ball around.
40:00Cadden eventually runs forward.
40:02There's no great quality on it.
40:03They end up getting a cross into the box.
40:05This is probably what typified it.
40:08Five players underneath the ball.
40:12That's Hugo there.
40:12Number nine.
40:13Kumanic striker.
40:14And Aberdeen have got five players.
40:15The wrong side of him.
40:16How do they expect to build attacks to get the ball forward?
40:19Because then the ball does go forward.
40:20It's a hopeful ball.
40:21And it's a throw-in.
40:22Again here.
40:23Stuart Armstrong on the ball.
40:24More than capable of playing that pass.
40:26But does the striker really want it?
40:27Does the striker really want it?
40:28I'm not sure.
40:30You know.
40:30Stephen Robertson talked about them being lethargic.
40:32And being tired.
40:33That is certainly what it looked like.
40:35Even here.
40:36He's taking touches.
40:36Touches.
40:37They've got bodies in forward areas.
40:39But there's no movement.
40:39There's no movement.
40:40There's absolutely no movement.
40:41There's no checked.
40:42You know.
40:42Short to go long.
40:43There's nothing.
40:44They just throw balls in the box.
40:46And it's easy for Kilmarnock to clear the ball.
40:49And it's just.
40:50Again here.
40:51This is.
40:51They're actually down to ten men here.
40:53Kilmarnock.
40:53So throw your wing back higher.
40:55Your left side centre back forward.
40:57Four players.
40:58Kilmarnock are down to ten men.
40:59You've got four players.
41:01You know.
41:01Underneath the ball.
41:02And it's too slow.
41:04I think again.
41:04I think it's Armstrong again on the ball.
41:06Who will play that forward pass.
41:07But you don't work Kilmarnock enough.
41:10They probably found that game one of the easier games they've played this season.
41:13In terms of how hard they are to work defensively.
41:15Yeah.
41:15Scott.
41:16Aberdeen fans not happy at the end of the match.
41:19I mean that's understandable.
41:20It's just one win.
41:21From five games.
41:22And they're not producing much.
41:23In the way of entertainment for the supporters to enjoy.
41:26No.
41:26We watched that game today.
41:27And it was not an entertainment whatsoever.
41:30It was a hard watch.
41:32It was.
41:33Because.
41:33You expect to go up to Pataudry.
41:35For them to be in your face.
41:36To get after you.
41:37Because.
41:37Like you know what it's like.
41:38It's a hard.
41:39It's a long journey to get up there.
41:40It's a tough place to go.
41:41You should make that a horrible place.
41:43It's a tough place to be.
41:44But.
41:44Aberdeen are now letting teams come up and dictate play.
41:47Like Kilmarnock.
41:48Like.
41:48They're sitting bottom of the league.
41:50If you're.
41:50If you're an Aberdeen team.
41:52Get after them.
41:53They've conceded three goals every game.
41:55Aberdeen hit two shots on target today.
41:57And that is nowhere near good enough.
41:59Okay.
42:00To the late kick off in Paisley.
42:01St Mirren have started the season brilliantly.
42:03But how would they fare against the champions?
42:06St Mirren on their best start to a top flight campaign in 99 years.
42:12They look to continue the feel good factor against the champions.
42:16Who have a 100% record to preserve.
42:18Second place Saints know a first league victory in four years over Celtic.
42:23Would take them top of the pile.
42:25A Celtic win stretches their advantage to five points.
42:31St Mirren are unchanged from the team that started the win over Kilmarnock.
42:36With Marcus Fraser and Killian Phillips still absent.
42:39Fraser Taylor, the match winner on Wednesday on his first start of the league season.
42:43Gets the nod once again.
42:45Celtic's only change from the midweek victory over Aberdeen
42:48is to bring Mika Bauer back into the starting 11.
42:51In place of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
42:54There's still no Tierney or Who.
42:55but new signings Jordan Latomba and Joel Vandenberg
42:59join Johnston, Sorensen and Mika on the bench.
43:06Finds Bauer, no Scales.
43:13Yank, back to Scales.
43:20Right, into McGregor this time.
43:33The ball from Carter Vickers onto the toes of Yank.
43:38They produce here.
43:39Ramsey backpedalling, he went for the near post.
43:42Didn't quite get his angles right.
43:46Lovely ball, that, from Carter Vickers.
43:51Just trying to catch Jacob Chapman out there.
43:54Almost did so.
44:05As the corner comes in, it's met by Scales.
44:10Taking a volley, claims the handball, the referee has pointed to the penalty spot.
44:17He had a good old think about that, Ryan Lee.
44:19Big claim for the penalty from St. Mirren.
44:24And if he explains his thinking to Callum McGregor, this will tell us better.
44:30Oh yeah, the arm's out from Scales.
44:34If he's inside the penalty area, then that is the correct decision.
44:41Initially has the arms behind the back, so...
44:44Why he then brings them out, but that couldn't be clearer.
44:50And...
44:50Yeah.
44:51I think he's just inside.
44:57Niklas Agrafiotis.
44:59He's got a chance to make a big name for himself.
45:02Right here.
45:04As he looks for his first submitting goal.
45:07Huge moment for the striker.
45:11Up he steps.
45:14And Rockets it past Sinisalo.
45:17Keep our guess correctly.
45:19Got something on it, but it was just too powerful.
45:24And he couldn't keep it out.
45:26And St. Mirren make the breakthrough.
45:28First goal for his new club.
45:32Hit with conviction.
45:34And Sinisalo just unable to get enough behind it.
45:39And...
45:45It's going to be picked up by Carr.
45:47And his ball behind Bauer, but then given straight back to Negrin.
45:52And this time he does find Bauer.
45:54Yang wants it.
45:55Makes a good run.
45:57Bogic will go across.
45:59It's clicked over him.
46:00There's the equaliser.
46:02Bundled in.
46:06Duran...
46:07Will claim that he got the final touch.
46:11But it's all about the run from Yang.
46:16Oh...
46:17No, it's offside.
46:20No.
46:21Duran denied.
46:27Well, it looked to me that when the ball was played, that Fieldson's foot was ahead of Duran's.
46:35But at that point, Duran is ahead.
46:41So I have to get the corner.
46:49Bauer's ball in.
46:52McGregor.
46:52Oh, what a save from Chapman.
46:59He was claimed there was a shove in the back there.
47:02You can have a bit of sympathy with him, but McGregor with the follow-up effort.
47:06That is a top save from Chapman.
47:17McGregor is just possessing Yang there.
47:20McGregor picks up for scales.
47:24To Bauer.
47:35McGregor.
47:35Hassan.
47:36McGregor wants it.
47:37Hassan sends it into the area instead.
47:40And Yang somehow fails to find the back of the net.
47:45And really has to score from that position.
47:52Hassan wants more.
47:54Donovan in support.
47:55Here he is.
47:57Flashes it into the near post.
47:59And turned behind for a corner.
48:02There's a couple of times Donovan's gotten forward to good effect.
48:06Sure, I'm going to sneak it in, you know.
48:11Something so...
48:12In search of an equaliser.
48:14There's Negret.
48:15Swings in the near post.
48:17Ball scales with a wonderful header.
48:20Insulting a level.
48:21Beautifully judged header from William Scales.
48:25And having given the penalty away in the first half.
48:29He gets Celtic back on level terms.
48:31Early in the second period.
48:38Scales looking to repeat the trick from the other sides.
48:41As Bauer prepares to swing this one in the way.
48:44And it is Scales again.
48:47And he is not far away.
48:50Almost the same double act.
48:52Bauer for Scales.
48:54Glancing header but just not accurate enough on this occasion.
49:02He is in.
49:03He seems to certainly know that they have been in a game tonight.
49:07That's a lovely ball forward.
49:09Negret in.
49:10And Yang.
49:11Brilliant block.
49:13By.
49:14Calvin Ramsey.
49:16Tremendous bit of defending from Calvin Ramsey.
49:19As Yang.
49:21Put Serp to score here.
49:25Seal for Ramos.
49:28Caviar makes a run.
49:29He's got John outside of him.
49:38Carr.
49:40It's a good play from Durant.
49:41And Celtic could be away here.
49:43Yang makes the run.
49:45And Yang's in here.
49:46Can Yang finish?
49:47Yes, he can.
49:48And Duran.
49:51Celtic in front.
49:53And it's the same combination from Wednesday night as Duran capitalised on a mistake.
50:02And feeds Yang.
50:04Who just as he did at Celtic Park against Aberdeen.
50:08Slots it under the goalkeeper.
50:11Chapman clears forward for Sula.
50:16To Ramos and now Kaviar.
50:20Submitting it themselves back in level terms.
50:22As Thomas forces his aid from Sinisalo.
50:26Can't have had air for this from Thomas.
50:30Tight angle.
50:39Seal picks up.
50:42And Ramos.
50:45He tries Lux and his salad pushes it away.
50:48Scales helps it out.
50:52And Ramos got a hold of this.
51:01There's Tuneckti.
51:04Another Celtic goal.
51:05Surely puts this beyond Simran.
51:06Negrin stopped in his tracks by Gogic though.
51:11And Ramos will try and come on the counter.
51:15It's Kaviar.
51:17Hips it on for Young.
51:19He'll drive into the area.
51:21He's got options in the middle.
51:22Thomas is one of them!
51:24Well, only he will know
51:27how he has sent that off target.
51:30There's a glaring opportunity.
51:32Tuneckti, as Kriam McLeish knows.
51:34Might not get another one.
51:39Sorensen.
51:42Oh, he's found Tuneckti here.
51:44Tuneckti can finish it.
51:46It's wide though.
51:48Well, that was a chance to seal the three points.
51:52A lovely ball from Sorensen.
51:54And Tuneckti couldn't do what Young did earlier.
52:08And Muka could be in here.
52:10Out comes Chapman.
52:12Is it a first Celtic goal?
52:14For Sean Muka.
52:17The 18-year-old on loan from Chelsea.
52:20Oh, that might yet be chopped off though.
52:26Looks like he's maybe just gone too early.
52:30The ref's going to check this at the monitor.
52:35And it is offside in the referee's view.
52:39And Sean Muka denied a first Celtic goal.
52:45We do our work during the week.
52:47We knew different things Celtic would throw at us.
52:49We had hopefully tried to come up with some different solutions to it.
52:52There's bits that we need to kind of tidy up as well as a coaching staff.
52:55So that when maybe certain bits of our game aren't going so well,
52:59that we've given the players enough solutions to it.
53:01But that's all we're trying to do here.
53:03We're trying to improve every single week, every single game.
53:05You're not going to come up against that type of test very often.
53:08And we have to make sure that we use it and we learn from it.
53:12And we keep building on what we're doing.
53:14Obviously delighted we scored the goal.
53:15And we scored it at an important moment as well too.
53:18We come out in the second half.
53:19We were very, looked as if we were dominant.
53:22And just weren't able to break them down.
53:24And then suddenly we get the corner and we score the goal.
53:27And that gave us a major, major lift as well too.
53:29So we took the game in the end.
53:31I think for the number of chances that we created,
53:33probably deserved it.
53:34But overall, you know, we can improve.
53:38Celtic get the win, but they were made to work for it by St Mirren.
53:40Especially in those last 20 minutes.
53:42We'll need to rattle through these guys because we've not got too much time.
53:45St Mirren took the lead from the spot.
53:47What's Scales doing here, Scott?
53:48It's a fantastic save.
53:51It is a good strike.
53:52Look, Scales wins the header and he goes out to try and close him down as quick as he can.
53:56And for some weird reason, he's out, hands behind his back,
53:59and just naturally moves his hand for some weird reason.
54:02Just like an instinct, I think, obviously.
54:04Yeah, and look, it's definitely a penalty.
54:06And you'll get a closer picture when you go around the side.
54:09And it does look like his back is in the box at this point in time.
54:13I think the referee's got the decision right.
54:15Fairly conclusive.
54:16But Richard, yeah, I mean, it's kind of maybe our natural instinct
54:20to put your hand out when the ball's passing you.
54:21I don't know.
54:22I mean, it's a good strike.
54:23When it's coming at you that quick,
54:24you're maybe trying to protect yourself a little bit.
54:26Definitely penalty.
54:27And it's actually a fantastic penalty by Agra Fiotis.
54:30Just puts his foot through it.
54:31Hard, yeah.
54:31You know, the goalie guesses the right way,
54:32but it just goes right through his hands.
54:34Yeah, Girane, he thought he'd scored,
54:35but ruled out the VAR.
54:36This was tight and we were unsure about it.
54:38Weren't we, Hibbert?
54:39I think everyone was unsure about it
54:40because we're sitting there, you're watching it
54:42and you see it in real time.
54:43You think, ah, I think he could be onside.
54:46But then, look, the lines.
54:47The lines are the lines.
54:48They've decided.
54:49But it's brilliant.
54:50I thought Jan was very, very good today.
54:51Girane was good today as well.
54:53So, Celtic's front three caused problems
54:55with the pace as well.
54:56But overall, it was a really, really good attacking game.
55:00Yeah, it was a tight one now, Rich.
55:02Yeah, I mean, you'll see the other one later on.
55:06I'm still not sure.
55:07I'm not sure that those lines and cameras are that accurate
55:10because it is so tight.
55:12You're talking a couple of inches there.
55:13Got to trust the technology.
55:15Yes, we need to trust the technology.
55:16And later on, we'll see the penalty
55:18when they don't trust the technology.
55:20Right, whatever.
55:21Offside it was, anyway.
55:22Liam Scales, then he made amends
55:24with a really good header.
55:26Yeah, and he does this.
55:27We've seen him do it numerous times.
55:29His timing is excellent.
55:31Good ball in a game from the corner,
55:33but he always gets the run on the defender.
55:35And in that situation, it's really difficult
55:37because the defender can't gamble.
55:39He has to almost wait for Scales to move.
55:41He doesn't get tight enough to him.
55:43And it's a great header.
55:44The goalkeeper can't really do anything there.
55:46Yeah.
55:47Yang, you mentioned that he thought he had a good game.
55:50And obviously then he pops up with the match winner.
55:52And it's a cool finish after a lovely pass.
55:54It's not just Yang, Duran here.
55:56Yeah.
55:57Carr's on the ball here.
55:58Loads of time.
55:59Takes his time.
56:00A couple of touches too many.
56:02But look at Yang's pace.
56:03He's willing to see any young winger
56:05that's watching this.
56:06As soon as your striker wins that,
56:08that's the pace that you should go for.
56:09And look, it's a fantastic finish.
56:11It's right underneath the goalie.
56:12There's no much the goalie can do.
56:14And at that point in time, Celtic were on top.
56:16They were dominating.
56:17Don't be.
56:18You were sweating those last 20 minutes.
56:19Well, hey, at that point in time, Celtic were on top.
56:22But look, the last 20 minutes,
56:24look, St Mirren were very, very good.
56:25I think you've got to see that.
56:26You know, St Mirren in those last 20 minutes
56:29really went for it and chased the game
56:30and had numerous opportunities, didn't they?
56:32Yeah.
56:32And it was actually refreshing to see them.
56:34You know, they didn't just kind of try and sit in
56:36and hit Celtic on the break.
56:38They actually moved the ball.
56:39And because they're so good and efficient on the ball,
56:41it allows them to build themselves into the game.
56:43And they were always a threat.
56:44You know, unfortunately, they couldn't see it out
56:46or get an equaliser towards the end.
56:49But very good for large spells of the game.
56:52Mugath, he thought he'd scored as well.
56:53This one ruled out for offside.
56:55They couldn't draw the lines.
56:57So ultimately, it was up to the referee to go to the monitor.
56:59It's a great ball and run from Negrin.
57:02But look, for us, Chapman,
57:04I'm not sure what he's doing at that point in time
57:06because he actually closes them down really, really well.
57:08Then backs off and lucky enough, look,
57:10for us, it's offside.
57:13He is in front of Gogic there at that point in time.
57:18But look, it's a great finish
57:19and that'll give him a little bit of confidence as well.
57:21Yeah, it will do.
57:22I mean, Celtic played five, Scott.
57:24Won five, pretty much a perfect start.
57:26What's impressed you in this kind of five-game run of wins
57:28about Celtic?
57:29Duran.
57:31Duran's done things that Celtic probably didn't think
57:34they would do that early.
57:36Yang's been a different player since Martins came in as well.
57:39He's playing with confidence as well.
57:41And Hassan now.
57:42Hassan, I thought Hassan today was really good today as well.
57:45He can go both ways.
57:46He's a dribbler.
57:46He's got a little bit of talent as soon as he gets on the ball
57:49because people get excited.
57:50It's just that little final delivery
57:52that they probably have to have a little bit better relationship
57:55with knowing where he's going to go at what time.
57:57He's certainly put a lot of balls into the box,
57:59Hassan tonight.
58:00Okay, guys, we'll need to move on.
58:02Let's have a wee look at the table.
58:05So, Celtic's win has them five clear at the top.
58:09St Mirren are in second place.
58:11Rangers up to third.
58:13Hearts in fourth with Motherwell a point behind.
58:16Dundee United on five points.
58:18Aberdeen sit in 10th place tonight.
58:19Falkirk 11th and Kelly still bottom.
58:22But they now have a point.
58:23And that's us for another Saturday.
58:25Thank you for joining us.
58:27Thanks to Scott and to Richard for their endurance
58:28over the last 10 hours.
58:30Good night.
58:33I want to know where the silence comes from.
58:38Where space originates.
58:40See you.
58:42You're not talking straight.
58:45I want you to know.
58:46This is it.
58:48You're not talking straight.
58:50Come for us.
58:52Give me in.
58:53You're not talking straight.
58:56Let's get back.
58:58See you.
58:58You're not talking straight.
59:02You're not talking straight.
