00:00Well Sweden given an ultimatum, a final warning as it heads into the Swedish election with a
00:07government, a right-wing government, who basically have had success. They've now got net emigration,
00:13they've brought down asylum claims massively, they've reduced the number of killings, the number
00:19of shootings and you've got at the moment the Sweden Democrats are the most popular party on
00:26the right in Sweden and for the first time if the right-wing bloc wins you would see the Sweden
00:32Democrats who currently support the government, well they would actually formally take up roles
00:37in government if the right-wing coalition wins and you can see what they're talking about here for
00:43instance a total ban on asylum is what is now being talked about because there's been such an abuse
00:50of the country's welfare system and Ulf Christensen, the Conservative Prime Minister who if the right-wing
00:57bloc win would become Prime Minister again, remain as Prime Minister, he's warning that if the left
01:04side win that could actually be a serious threat when it comes to Sweden's NATO membership. But yeah
01:13you can see there Jimmy Ackerson who leads the Sweden Democrats supporting that right-wing coalition
01:19and could potentially in the future become Swedish Prime Minister himself. Now all the way through the
01:26opposition in Sweden and again I'd be fascinated to know why the left-wing coalition have been ahead
01:31in the polls any of those of you in Sweden because it seems to me the government have actually had
01:36a
01:36lot of success and certainly in terms of bringing down the levels of violent crime but the left did have
01:43a lead all the way through this campaign at one point a massive lead not that long ago a couple
01:47of
01:47weeks ago. What you've now seen is that lead narrowing and narrowing and narrowing to the point now where
01:54it's gotten very very tight indeed. So on the low side of the estimate for the left-wing block it's
02:01now
02:0149.3% and you can see there on the high point for the right-wing coalition it's 49%. So
02:07potentially here
02:08this could be very very close indeed. And I just wanted to finish by highlighting these stats that I really
02:14do
02:14think are pretty powerful that when you look at workers in Sweden the Sweden Democrats are now the
02:21most popular party with a one-point lead over the Social Democrats and with unemployed voters the left
02:27the Social Democrats have a massive lead there on 32% double the level of support of the Sweden
02:33Democrats. That's really interesting isn't it? But look that's the final warning ahead of the Swedish
02:39election. I will of course bring you the result as it develops but please do let me know your
02:43thoughts on that in the comments below. Please do whack this video. A quick thumbs up and of course as
02:47ever. Cheers for watching.
