00:23Now sources indicate that the Kerala Home Minister has directed the state DGP to form an investigative team.

00:33The allegations are linked to the CMRL monthly payments case in which Veena,
00:38the daughter of former Chief Minister Pinaray Vijayan and her firm Exalogic received money to the tune of 2.78
00:46crores from CMRL
00:47even though there were no services that were rendered by the IT firm.
00:51The Serious Fraud Investigation Office or the SFIO has also probed the case and has filed a preliminary report in
00:59a court in Ernakulam district
01:00charging Veena and top officials of the CMRL in this case.
01:05Now this is something which had come up even during the India Today Kerala Roundtable recently
01:09in which the current Chief Minister Veena had assured that full and fair investigation will continue.

01:22has ordered an inquiry based on what our sources tell us on the ED report which had seemingly indicted
01:29former Chief Minister Pinaray Vijayan, his daughter Veena and former minister and her husband PA Mohamad Riyas.
01:35We also understand from our sources that Home Minister Cheney Tala has directed the DGP to form an investigative team
01:42to probe these allegations further and go through the report that was submitted by the ED.
