01:22Okay. So the Athletic is saying that the Milwaukee Bucks have started to show they might be interested in Jalen
01:32Durham. I'll read this from the story they wrote, posted last night with Sam Amick and Hunter Patterson.
01:38The Athletic reported previously, Sacramento Kings have signaled a willingness to pay his max salary deal next summer. That alone
01:45has added his leverage to his leverage, but there are at least two other teams, including the Milwaukee Bucks that
01:52are known to have a serious interest in Durham, both now and potentially next summer.
01:57The, the, the, the, the now part is intriguing. And, and what, what's the name that's come up is Miles
02:02Turner coming the other direction. Now, Miles Turner is a big that can shoot it.
02:08Uh, Miles Turner comes at about half the price. He makes 26 million this year, next year. And then as
02:16a player option beyond that, Miles Turner, if you get Miles Turner back, you again add shooting.
02:25and you he's 30 years old you had shooting you had a veteran presence and you had financial
02:31flexibility which may be the most important thing you get out of it that can be extraordinarily
02:35useful come trade deadline time but uh that that's a possibility so you know look if if you've
02:46reached a point total stalemate staring at each other waiting for somebody to blink and nothing's
02:51going to happen and you can put together a trade that brings back miles turner and likely stuff
02:56whether it be draft capital whether it be tyler hero which i would love um what do you what do
03:02you do here what do you do well miles turner might be a shooter in terms of hey you can
03:06knock down
03:07some threes but it's not like he's a volume scorer at all he's it's a fraction of what jalen durden
03:13was giving you last year when he was averaging almost 20 miles turner averaged 12 points a game
03:18miles turner did not have a good year last year um well even throughout his career he hasn't had a
03:22year like durden had last year uh he's not the rebounder he's not the defensive presence um but
03:28hey he can shoot behind the arc there's no question about that but that's is is that his game i

03:33it's not i mean yes he comes at half the cost that that or almost half the cost of what
03:38durden would
03:39if he would accept the deal but i'd rather have jalen durden by far well i would i would potentially
03:45rather have jalen durden if he's going to agree to a reasonable contract uh i would rather have
03:50miles turner tyler hero and financial flexibility or miles turner and just financial flexibility and
03:56draft capital than not have durden for anything but kang what would you what do you think of of

04:06if we're going to lose him and it looks like we might because of this this impasse at 200 million
04:11dollars i think miles turner is not a terrible fallback plan now it's not like it's not even

04:42but he's on a shorter term deal he's less money it gives you more money financially and flexibility
04:48and a guy that might actually want to be here because i think at this point jalen durden does
04:52not want to be here he feels disrespected i think he thinks he should make more than 200 million
04:56dollars it is what it is and i don't want to lose him for nothing and so i think getting

05:05you can do i would honestly entertain that well the bucks have a young center on their roster as

05:16collegiately at indiana played two years in the nba uh went from 9.3 points a game to 11.1

05:22game last year seven feet 250 pounds shot 39 from three-point land last year uh with three three
05:30pointers per game attempted average nine rebounds all this only 22 minutes a game so there's a lot
05:37to it there's it seems like there's a lot of improvement there that's possible or a lot of
05:41productivity that's possible with him i i mean you're gonna i agree with you that i don't want
05:46to lose them for nothing you're gonna have to get something for them if if they have to go that
05:50trade
05:50route i'm just wondering if that might be a better resource to acquire well what else that's
05:55interesting in this story is it says there's at least two other teams including milwaukee so
06:03sacramento we know is interested milwaukee is now reportedly interested and allegedly there's a third
06:08team so uh there are some options here if indeed they have completely reached a breaking point with
06:17with jaylen duran it's just weird if the pistons can offer more money now than anybody
06:23and more money than he can get later and he's still saying no
06:29what what are we doing what are we doing i don't know i don't know what happened there if he

06:33just disrespected by the franchise at some point does he have a beef with players is his agent promising
06:40him more than he than he you know is reasonable or or what or or maybe it's none of the

06:47it's just that hey we're pulling all this out of proportion it's a negotiation they're trying to get
06:51more money from the pistons well if it is a negotiation it would be at some point wise to
06:56just make sure that you get in front of it because uh this feels like and it's being interpreted as

07:04we're i don't know that we're panic farmers here i think that we do a good job to try and
07:08avoid that
07:09but this does not look good no this is this is looking like it i mean it's starting to look
