04:06We got some things to get into.

04:07Let's start with Self Made on X, a poster who talks about Danny Luna, former TNA superstar,

04:15former tag team in TNA, is headed to AEW, and that she, right now, is the favorite and

04:21expected to be the opponent, to be announced opponent for Persephone for the TBS championship

04:26at All Out this Saturday, tomorrow night.

04:29I think that's a solid get for them.

04:31I don't think it's as big as if Kyrie Sane was there.

04:34I do not expect Danny Luna to win the championship.

04:36It's a great signing.

04:38But Persephone is so over, so talented.

04:40And I don't think they're ready to push Persephone to the world championship yet, even though I

04:44think she should be at some point very soon.

04:46So with Danny Luna being the challenger, I think Persephone retains.

04:49But it will still be great to see a new talent show up in AEW.

04:53That being said, Fightful Select is talking about other people who will probably not be

05:00at All Out that people were hoping for.

05:02First off, Sheamus.

05:03He is not going to be there.

05:04According to Fightful Select, his contract at WWE, though he was told months ago they're

05:09not renewing because the offer they made to him was too low-balled and he rejected it.

05:13Technically, he's still under contract.

05:15So he can't be there, even though he probably would love to be.

05:18So Sheamus is out.

05:20From there, we get to Kyrie Sane, who has been a free agent for quite a while.

05:23And if she signs, they are talking.

05:26She does have an agent, I believe is Barry Blue.

05:28If she signs with him, she wants a dual contract.

05:31She wants to be able to work AEW, but also be able to work other places like Stardom and

05:34New Japan Pro Wrestling, where she has a history.

05:37So, I suspect there will be a dual contract offered to her.

05:40I suspect she'll probably sign it, unless she sees some avenue back to WWE.

05:43But after being burnt once and burnt twice, I mean, I think she's been released twice

05:47at this point.

05:47I don't know if I was her if I'd be going back anytime soon.

05:50I'd probably want to stay, you know, try something new, go to AEW, and really try to

05:54make WWE regret letting her go in the first place.

05:58From there, F4W Online, run by Dave Meltzer, talking about the big news yesterday that WWE

06:03main event is moving networks.

06:05It will now be going to Rumble.

06:07I mentioned Rumble earlier, because my show streams on Rumble as well.

06:10WWE main event heading to Rumble on Wednesday nights at 8pm.

06:14Why is this newsworthy, other than the fact that the show is moving in general?

06:17Well, because at 8 o'clock on Wednesday nights is when Evolve airs on Tubi.

06:22Is WWE going to run two programs against each other, counter-programming each other?

06:28But then again, Tubi has On Demand, as does Rumble.

06:32Do they continue to run both on Wednesday nights at 8 o'clock, or does this seem like

06:36the end of Evolve?

06:37And I understand why it could be the end, because WWE may be trying to cut costs and doesn't

06:41see the monetary benefit to having Evolve.

06:43I think it's a great program.

06:45I think it's a great place to see some of their younger talents really, you know, making

06:49their mark and trying to earn their way into NXT and eventually the main roster.

06:53And they've got some really talented ladies and gentlemen down there.

06:56So I'm hoping both programs are going to stay.

06:58I actually watched the main event for the first time the other day, and I was just wowed

07:02when they had Aerostar and Laredo Kid there wrestling in a tag team.

07:05Actually, there's some good stuff on those shows.

07:08So putting it on another platform, great idea.

07:10Maybe WWE is just trying to get as many, you know, streaming partners as they can to prevent

07:15AEW from maybe looking at that avenue, especially with the Warner Brothers Discovery merger coming

07:19up.

07:19And there's certain things that could be relevant there in terms of AEW being able to have distribution.

07:23Maybe this is a counter-programming thing as well.

07:25I don't know.

07:26Speaking of counter-programming, the big story for this episode, Andrew Baydala put out

07:32on X that Worlds Collide was not going to be streaming on YouTube.

07:36That was his original report.

07:38Now, nobody can corroborate this.

07:42Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer, was saying that he wasn't sure why WWE was like

07:47dragging their feet on discussing what was going on with Worlds Collide.

07:50And we all know, originally it was meant to be a counter-programming thing to hurt AEW

07:55all-out ticket sales, but that did not happen.

07:58All-out sold out.

07:59Now, what's strange to me is all-out sold out around 10,000 tickets.

08:02WWE's Worlds Collide actually sold like 13,000 tickets.

08:06So WWE actually sold more tickets for a AAA house show, basically, than AEW did for All-out.

08:12But that's partially because AEW set up an arena with only 10,000 tickets to begin with.

08:17If I'm AEW and it's one of your biggest shows of the year, why would you not go to a

08:2025,000-seat

08:21arena and try to sell that out?

08:23Now, I get it.

08:23These two companies seem to go to war over Chicago.

08:25Chicago is a hotbed for wrestling going back to the 80s.

08:28But this was interesting planning on WWE's part because I think they wanted to take away

08:32from ticket sales.

08:32That did not happen.

08:33So now, you know, you had a little bit of a teaser.

08:38JBL on the Something to Wrestle With podcast talked about how he had originally been asked

08:43to go to Chicago and was prepared to do that and then had those plans canceled.

08:47And that WWE English-speaking announcers are not going to Worlds Collide.

08:51And then we find out that there are also no AAA announcers headed to Worlds Collide.

08:56Well, how can we do a show and live stream it if there's no announcers?

08:59Are they going to remotely do this?

09:01No, that is not the case.

09:02We found out tonight, WWE posting on X, that Worlds Collide is going to stream on September

09:0830th.

09:09Now, here's why that's relevant.

09:11One, they didn't succeed at hurting AEW All Out.

09:14So why put it out on that night?

09:16You're going to get less people to buy the pay-per-view version of this or whatever,

09:20or stream it, because they're going to be busy watching All Out and you want to get the

09:23big number.

09:24So instead, September 30th is Wednesday night and Worlds Collide will be on television for

09:30an hour before Dynamite comes on.

09:33So now, instead of counter-programming All Out, they're counter-programming AEW Dynamite

09:37when they go to Pittsburgh for Britt Baker's return.

09:41Again, WWE with their counter-programming is huge.

09:44And I don't know why they waited this late.

09:46There's people who are going to be livid because they bought tickets expecting Worlds Collide

09:49to be a pay-per-view level quality event.

09:52And instead, they're going to get a taped show that the spoilers are going to get leaked,

09:56and then we're all going to know by Sunday night what's going on.

10:00And that's problematic.

10:01Actually, Saturday night we'll know what's going on because once the show ends, you know

10:04somebody's going to put the results online.

10:06So it takes away some of the luster from the event.

10:08I really wanted to see CM Punk and Omos in the ring at the same time.

10:12And I wanted to see it live on YouTube.

10:13Now, it's going to stream on YouTube on September 30th, so it's going to be free.

10:18But I really have a problem.

10:20And I actually thought they were going to put it on WWE's subscription service.

10:24That would have really frustrated people after the way they kind of sold the tickets to this.

10:29But I don't know.

10:29If I'm a Chicagoland area person, I'm thrilled still because I get to see it in person if I

10:33chose WWE over AEW.

10:35But if I'm a mainstream wrestling fan who watches all the brands, this is just petty nonsense

10:40at this point.

10:40You weren't successful knocking it all out.

10:44AEW diehards are who tune in every Wednesday for Dynamite anyways.

10:47People like you, like me, we tune in no matter what WWE is doing.

10:50And if it's going to be on YouTube, I can go back and watch it on YouTube later.

10:53I don't have to watch it live on Wednesday night.

10:55I'm going to still watch Dynamite and I'll watch the YouTube show later.

11:00That's just the way I approach it.

11:01I might start watching it the hour before Dynamite goes live.

11:05But once Dynamite's on, I'm turning the channel.

11:06I'm sorry.

11:07That's just the way it's going to be.

11:09For now, we're going to have to wait and see how this plays out.

11:11I hope they stop some of this counter-programming.

11:13It's not working.

11:13If you're going to do anything, help TNA WWE.

11:16Do the right thing.

11:17Help TNA if you really wanted to do something that may actually have an effect on AEW.

11:21That's just my take.
