04:28uh tonight several items to get to starting with pw insider elite claiming that the wrestlemania in

04:35saudi arabia wrestlemania 43 next year is an all go they are planning for that show as if it is

04:41100

04:41going they're not making a lot of um there's not a lot of internal discussion about okay we need to

04:47find a different location because of the geopolitical situation going on in saudi arabia the concerns with

04:52iran and drone strikes and things of that nature and let's be honest a large stadium show certainly

04:58across two nights would be a bullseye target for some kind of horrible geopolitical situation to take

05:03place and so you would think that they'd be hesitant just like they are for crown jewel but it sounds

05:08like that is not the case right now wwe is moving forward as if that is the plan now there

05:12is some

05:13word that there may be a contingency plan should things change geopolitically over there in the next

05:18several months where they would have to do something different but for right now all plans the money

05:23being spent the talent that's being brought in the matches that they're coordinating that is all pretty

05:27much going forward as originally planned and i guess in some ways that's exciting and i i really do think

05:34i know when they first announced saudi arabia for wrestlemania there were some people who were very

05:38concerned that this was going to become an annual thing and they were always going to go to saudi

05:42because if you didn't know for the combination of the royal rumble and wrestlemania wwe is getting

05:48paid 300 million dollars just for those two shows on top of the 50 million per show they do for

05:54all the

05:54other shows they do in specials they do over in saudi arabia and that's a ton of money and i

05:58get it like

05:58as a wrestling fan in the united states i'd love to see mania here every year or somewhere

06:03realistically travelable like you can go to canada even if it was in the united kingdom or in france

06:07germany something like that japan i think would be really cool australia mexico any of those places

06:13make a lot of sense to me because the tourism industry there is is through the roof i don't

06:17see a lot of american citizens flying to saudi arabia for wrestlemania so if that's the case it's

06:21almost like you alienate us away from the biggest show but one time i get it it makes a lot

06:26of sense

06:26and it is a huge cash grab and we got to be honest with ourselves wwe is a corporate entity

06:31they have

06:32shareholders to answer to their job is not wrestling anymore their job is profit

06:36which then funnels trickles down to the shareholders which then makes them a higher

06:40higher traded public entity that's what it is we don't have to like it i don't like it but it

06:45is

06:45what it is so i would not be surprised if they wanted to go back to saudi for mania but

06:50i'm just

06:50hoping we don't have the same thing happen again now there was a report earlier in the week that

06:54there are contingency plans to go back to freaking las vegas again three straight years if something

07:00crazy goes geopolitically i am praying that that never happens because that would be a complete train

07:06wreck last year should have taught them enough because they're going to want to make the money

07:09no matter what so they'll just jack prices up even higher and some fools out there are going to pay

07:12it i mean think about it this year we had a guy pay who knows how much money to sit

07:16ringside at the

07:17commentary table he was on for a grand total about 20 seconds and they got paid somebody said like

07:22150 000 for that seat it's ridiculous so somebody will still pay they'll still make their money

07:27so i'm hoping that doesn't happen i think new orleans really deserves to have them back since they were

07:32supposed to go there anyways indianapolis places like that but we'll have to wait and see how

07:36things play out but for right now wrestlemania is still on on pace for being in saudi arabia

07:42speaking of decisions in wwe tko apparently a conversation this came out through um wrestling

07:49inc that they have a very favorable opinion of sammy zane as wwe champion it's not that they have an

07:57opinion one way or the other but they love the ratings they're getting and again it's all about the

08:00bottom line so there's there's definitely some conversation about well you know is this really

08:05a great decision in all eyes in wwe no wwe creative and some people in wwe's um hierarchy are not

08:13necessarily thrilled having sammy zane as champion but as long as the ratings are coming in and tko is

08:18making money they don't care they're okay they're on board with sammy zane and um it's really interesting

08:24that it wrestling inc also confirming oh but i apologize i said wrestling inc before it was wrestling

08:30observer newsletter talking about how sammy zane is their guy tko does support them wrestling inc

08:35chimed in to say that they are moving forward with the plan that we talked about here before i heard

08:41it anyplace else we talked about it here that sammy zane was going to win the wwe championship because

08:45he was going to face roman reigns at crown jewel and i think it makes all the sense in the

08:49world for

08:49that match to happen get sammy his win back from when they didn't win before elimination chamber or

08:55elimination chamber i always forget which one it was i think it was at elimination chamber in canada

08:58this is a place where you could have him win the crown jewel championship based on interference by

09:03you know you know royce keys and his crew uh and and it would make a lot of sense that

09:09way you don't

09:09take any momentum off of roman reigns it helps set him up for the uh match at survivor series and

09:15give

09:15sammy zane that huge win over roman reigns it really solidifies him as a main event guy i think that's

09:21the

09:21plan and it sounds like that's what wrestling inc is feeling as well um pro wrestling illustrated was

09:26doing an interview with mjf and one of the interesting things that came out of this and

09:30i really got to say this i know maxwell jacob freeman gets a lot of bad um press for his

09:35temperament

09:35his attitude always staying in character and things like that but i will tell you one thing that i really

09:39appreciate about him maybe more than anybody when it comes to evaluating the world of professional

09:44wrestling and being upfront about the competition he does not shy away from engaging in wwe talk

09:51and in this particular interview he was talking about talents that wwe has that he feels are

09:56incredibly talented starting with trick williams who he said he met twice and who he's had extensive

10:02conversation with in those two meetings and he really thinks he's super talented and is a premier

10:08talent for wwe and he was super complimentary of trick williams um and i apologize he referenced

10:12somebody in particular who hooked them up to have a conversation and from there he went to obafemi

10:16who he couldn't get over how big obafemi is and what his potential is again through the same mutual

10:22friend um so i love that he was talking about them but then he went on to gunther and this

10:26was the

10:27one that really struck me he loves gunther as a performer he was not happy about john cena's last

10:31match he said it still bothers him about john cena's last match he actually referenced that john cena is the

10:36second best wrestler in the history of wrestling other than himself which i find wildly interesting

10:42considering he works for the competition you would think he'd be saying like fourth or fifth

10:45and then given the kudos to people like will osprey kenny omega stuff like that but he did not

10:50he went right to john cena being second best which means you just put over the competition's

10:54you know lifelong talent as being better than everybody on your roster that is wild to me and

11:01i appreciate the honesty and the forthright nature of his conversation i thought that was awesome

11:07wrestle tixbrook is breaking some news that i think is very concerning tna's bound for glory we

11:12reported on this a couple weeks about number of tickets they had sold as of right now 734 tickets

11:18are sold only 12 tickets sold in the last four days with 1710 tickets remaining for sale in a venue

11:27that has a capacity of 9440 now i'm sure they're going to use a lot of black screen to to

11:32hide those

11:33other 7 000 seats that they're not even trying to sell but when you only have 700 tickets sold for

11:39your like big event of the year that's scary you know i i don't know i when i look at

11:45the leon

11:46slater nick nemeth match i think that's about the best match they can put on having the the wyatt

11:51six now just six show up on their show and attack the hardys i would think that would drive some

11:56tickets maybe in the next couple days we see some some tickets sell but this is not looking good

12:01for ticket sales for tna and a few months back maybe as early as even december january this past year

12:07they really were had some momentum going and the partnership with wwe was much more fruitful at

12:12that time it has dropped off significantly and we just aren't seeing the crossover be as um helpful

12:19for tna and i really think wwe needs to jump in here and help them like this is they need

12:23to help

12:24salvage this pay-per-view because even if they're not hurting aew like the original plan was the only

12:30way they're ever going to is if you continue to help them build this brand to where they can move

12:34to

12:34wednesday nights and go head to head with dynamite but they don't have the viewership to do that and

12:39i think they you know the reports are that's what wdu was looking for they wanted tna to go head

12:43to

12:44head on wednesday nights to hurt dynamite and they just weren't going to be able to do that their

12:48their viewership was nowhere near dynamites and dynamite was at the time was only getting you know

12:53maybe 600 to 800 000 views a week on an odd week here and there you get a million million

12:57one

12:58but you're not talking about you know we're dying where tna is getting 150 000 or 200 000 at most

13:05so that's problematic you need to increase the tna viewership now because it's dipping to all-time

13:11lows again and wwe needs to be a part of that drive them up and get them to a half

13:16a million views a

13:16week 600 000 a week and then you you put the pressure on for them to move the programming over

13:22to wednesday nights and if they're not willing the word was that there was a contract clause in there

13:26that wb could buy tna if you build them to five six hundred thousand views a week then you buy

13:31them

13:31and move them over to wednesday nights yourself and put them head to head with dynamite if they

13:35move dynamite move them again and keep bouncing around the counter program dynamite if that's

13:39wb strategy which it sounds like it is pretty much for all their shows lately so i just think that

13:44would

13:45make a lot of business sense for wwe at this point to help tna grow tna because right now tna

13:50for all the momentum they built last year and the year prior it is struggling now and wwe needs

13:55to be the white knight here and try to you know salvage that relationship that they started

13:59putting together that was really bearing some good fruit for wwe in terms of talent and tna in
