00:00Check in now with Rooshal for tonight's weather forecast.
00:03Thanks, Nisha. Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago. Guys, we got some cloud cover and brief showers
00:09today, but it just wasn't enough to keep things cool. So you're probably wondering, will we get
00:16any showery action tonight? And well, the Met Office says tonight will be generally fair with
00:22a few early morning showers likely to favor eastern areas, along with a low chance of
00:28isolated thunderstorms, with minimum temperatures at 25 and 26 degrees in Trinidad and Tobago.
00:35And while we will get sunshine tomorrow, it will likely be interrupted by a few welcoming
00:40intervals of cloud cover and showers for some areas. At this point, we're thankful for any
00:45cool air and shade we can get. Now, conditions should settle once again by mid-afternoon.
00:52Daytime temperatures will reach up to 33 degrees in Trinidad and 32 over in Tobago.
00:57And as we count down to the end of the work week, Thursday will bring sunshine mixed with
01:03party cloudy swells and brisk showers favoring Tobago. While Friday will be generally sunny
01:09at first with intervals of cloudiness and some more showery action possible during the afternoon.
01:15Let's take a look at our sun times now. In Trinidad, sunrise is at 555 and 552 in Tobago and
01:21sunset
01:22at 545 in Trinidad and 542 in Tobago. And tomorrow's sea conditions will be slight to moderate with waves
01:30near 1.3 meters in open waters and near 0.5 meters in sheltered areas. It's now time for your
01:52weather. If you're out boating and dark clouds, thunder or sudden gusty winds approach, head for a safe harbor
01:58if possible. Because conditions can deteriorate quickly, bringing rougher waters, reduced visibility
02:04and dangerous lightning, even when the sea was calm earlier. So take note of that. Well, that's all for
02:12weather tonight. If you love sports, stay with us because Irvashi has all the details.
02:18Well, thank you, Rochelle. Coming up after the break, the Calypso girls trample St. Vincent for a second
02:24victory in regional netball World Cup qualifiers. Vazir Mohamed bemoans the absence of Shea Hope for
02:31Bangladesh Test Series. And PSG shoot down Barcelona in Champions League showdown. Sport is up next.
02:39A first day.
