00:16truly a miracle we made it uh this week it might have been the longest week on the history of

00:21planet here but uh some browns are viewing this game from the from our side is a trap game how
00:27are titans fans viewing this game on sunday uh i think as a measuring stick game um man we know
00:35the the the history that this team has had over the last few years you know firing coaches hiring
00:41coaches will levis and cam ward and trying to figure out that pathway and which they're going to be and
00:46they get robert sala in this year you know he's trying to reset this thing and the one thing i
00:50gotta give him credit for from the moment he got in and got settled in he's been saying this team
00:55is
00:55rebuilding um they went you know oh and five to start the season off and just got the first one
01:01last week against the division corner and the coast and he's been chomping at i mean just beating this
01:07rock constantly just to stick with us just stick with us just stick with us and you finally crack it
01:12last week against the coast now be it i know they were out some key players but they also made
01:17some
01:17plays been down 13 points going into halftime to come back and win that game man so that's their side
01:23up to see where they are as a franchise i think that's the reason that so many folks are looking
01:27at the jets game at the beginning part of this year for the titans to kind of say okay they
01:32were
01:32as bad as you were last year how do you start this season off and they end up getting pants
01:36a little bit and just been trying to find their way um this is another one of those types of
01:41games man
01:42uh we've been talking about it on my show here in nashville ramon and will about how you know
01:47todd monken's gotten the browns together they got them believing they're playing together and that's
01:51where the titans are trying to be at so to me it's kind of been categorized around nashville as a
01:57measuring stick game to see if you can take that next step into winning back-to-back weekends that's
02:03one thing they haven't done since 2023 if i'm not mistaken a 2024 back-to-back wins that's what
02:11they're looking for under this rob a solid team that they are right now and it starts with trying
02:15to do it against the browns when you do your show and the conversation cam ward comes up is it

02:20of a well bless his heart or is it more of a like well i i mean he should be
02:25doing so much better
02:26right now he's not good enough for reasons x y and z what is what's the conversation around cam ward
02:31man listen to me all you have to do is say his name okay and it's honestly is it's almost

02:39like he's got one of the biggest support systems that i've ever seen and he's got also one of the
02:44biggest hates um sides of a fan base that i've seen as well and there's no real in between except
02:49for my coach and i will we do the show and we try to be reasonable about it well he's
02:53taking these
02:54steps and yeah he's got to get better here if you're lukewarm on them then they legitimately just
02:58spit you out you need to be all in all out and we we have reasonable conversations about them if
03:04you know cam's got to be more on time everybody's speaking about and just seeing like when his
03:08shoulders are aligned and his feet are good he can deliver the ball last weekend um against the
03:13coach you had two defensive linemen bat down footballs at the line of scrimmage and now the
03:18conversation kind of starts where he needs to change his change his arm slot like it's been so
03:22much critiquing about cam as if he's the guy and we've had those conversations as a show is what do
03:30you do what steps need to be made because the the good and the bad part for quarterbacks in cam's
03:36era
03:37and i would say drake may's in that caleb williams is in that era is the next time that these
03:42guys get
03:42paid it's going to probably start with a six a 60 million dollar a year number and teams have to
03:48be
03:48careful and really go through all the the the check points into if you're willing to commit that
03:55type of obligation to him so right now the issue that that cam has is is there's been so much
04:03losing that the titans have had over the last three years the fan base isn't into patience they're not
04:08into development they want it right now they want a drake may currently they want cj style rookie year
04:15of jayden daniels and this team talent wise just they've missed on first rounders in years past
04:20they've had an influx of coaches come in it's just been a lot of instability to give you a real
04:27answer
04:28the jury's still out on camp some want them and are patient and saying hey give them time and just
04:35watch and see but i won't lie to you we do a show and we we uh we stream it
04:40on youtube as well
04:41a good bit of the fan base is just like no he's not it let's go ahead and position ourselves
04:47for the
04:472027 draft or try to find a veteran quarterback to come in like it's strong on passing on cam and
04:55you
04:56have the you know the supporters who are a little bit more quiet now because they haven't been that
05:00great that are still there as well so with that if they have another top three pick in this next
05:06year's april's draft uh do you expect them to chase a quarterback and maybe move on from cam ward
05:14man haven't been around the league for as long as i was and just covering this team too i've always
05:20been of the mindset a gm doesn't get two stabs at a number one guy um i if they do
05:27decide to do
05:28anything at the quarterback position if cam ward doesn't get better or show signs of progress i
05:32think they try to find a vet that's been my main sticking point because if you as a gm pick
05:38another
05:38high draft pick then you put yourself in a position that you led to our failures early so why should
05:44you get another opportunity i'm not sure how many gms have gotten on the bad tenures two staffs at a
05:51young quarterback i mean you look at the jet scenario right now right they i mean zach wilson to
05:56they end up going to aaron rogers like they hadn't picked a young stud yet so that's the trend
06:02that i see i don't see them going and getting another quarterback what coach solid his staff
06:06has said to us in the media is they're sticking with cam he's getting all 17 games we've even had
06:12fans call in and some of our media around national ask the question what does it take for you to
06:17bench
06:17cam and coach solid put his job on it he's like i'm willing to put my house my job on
06:22the idea that
06:23cam's going to be a good quarterback so can you bitch him the not not really and i don't think
06:28they're going to be in the business of getting another young quarterback out the draft because
06:32the other part is is they need a lot of talent acquisitions um i think they need just to raise
06:38the floor of talent and not miss on no high draft picks my my mindset either they're sticking and
06:45picking where they are or trading back to get more draft picks so they can get more quality guys in
06:49when you guys talk about this weekend uh what what what route are you taking if you feel like the
06:54the titans can beat the browns this weekend in any sort of way what has to happen for tennessee to

07:00that get to the sean um i think it's overly documented that the browns offensive line hadn't
07:07been the great last couple of weeks i think it was 24 sacks over the course of six games this
07:12year as
07:12well um get to him and not just get to him but also swipe at his hands the sean holds
07:17the ball low
07:18in the pocket when it comes down to him getting sacked to him trying to get out of trouble i
07:22think
07:22he's had what is it six fumbles on the year and four recovered um he's contributed he's attributed
07:28a lot to their negativity when it comes down to those sacks or the idea that uh he will fumble
07:34the ball
07:34but that's the other part about it if you can't get to him the titan secondary has also had their
07:39issues um they got to be better i think you guys probably saw last week where elante taylor the
07:44newbie sign um cornerback was pretty much a healthy scratch by coaches decisions and he didn't say
07:50much about it um he said elante taylor last year they've made some shakeups in the uh secondary so
07:55if the rush can't get home um as far as getting the shine to the ground and he can still
08:01look down
08:01the field it can be problematic for the titan secondary as they continue to try to figure out
08:06robertsala's system and he's even come out and said like his defensive system on the back end
08:11for the secondary is a little bit more complicated it's zoned but guys have to understand and be
08:15predictive of what's coming their way whenever they learn his defense so um that's going to be
08:22in my opinion the pathway in which they get it done ramon before we let you go uh your tennessee
08:27volunteer uh i this is a nice start to the season in spite of some quarterback injury stuff there six
08:33and one are you expecting your volunteers to be in the playoffs this year i do um but it starts
08:39with
08:40this game um coach hype has had some issues going to south carolina man and dealing with them they
08:45got one of the best edge rushers in the world right now and dylan stewart the last time the
08:49vol saw one of those types of guys it was collins simmons at texas and he got five sacks and
08:55i think
08:56could have had six in one game dylan stewart is that type of player plus he's a better run defender
09:01in my opinion than collins simmons as well um but they got to get past this one and i would
09:07say the
09:07other part is um lsu at home they can't let that one slip um and i can keep going on
09:14but will stein
09:15at kentucky guys are now having conversations of does he last at kentucky or if steve sarkisian
09:21doesn't write the ship with texas will texas come and pay will stein whatever he want with how he's
09:27turned uk around so yeah we we got a we got a tough path man and it's it's not any
09:33easier with south
09:34carolina uh lsu and also i got to go to texas a&m and kentucky well uh it seems like
09:42a wonky
