00:33I'm involved in secret activities for a really long time, already since C6 was created.
00:42I started my career as German secretary of the national committee.
00:47Then I've been secretary of study committee for eight years.
00:53I've been serving under two different chairs.
00:56And five years ago, I was appointed chair of study committee C6, which was a real honor
01:03for me to put forward the activities and the really interesting topics we are covering
01:11within study committee C6.
01:22Working for C6 is a real pleasure.
01:25You're meeting really interesting people, really experienced experts.
01:32You can exchange your views.
01:35You can learn.
01:36You can learn on the technical side, but you can also learn cultural experience, meeting
01:44experts all over the world.
01:46And it's a real pleasure to work for SeaGrey.
01:58My most significant contribution to SeaGrey, of course, is what we have achieved during the
02:04past years I've been chairing.
02:07We have started a number of working groups covering all topics related to active distribution
02:16system operation.
02:18And we are now getting results of these working groups.
02:23Another huge achievement will also be to have a C6 screen book published.
02:29That should be a state of the art book describing the current development on distributed energy
02:36resources and active distribution systems.
02:47This virtual centennial session is a real experience.
02:51Being here in Paris is great.
02:53Although it's a pity that most of you will only be connected via Zoom, via our chat functionalities,
03:04nevertheless, it was a great experience to have all of your contributions to our activities,
03:12to meetings we had within our study committees, to the workshop we had so far, and also to the
03:19group discussion meeting we will have today and tomorrow.
03:32The future of SeaGrey is really bright.
03:35Within SeaGrey we are covering all topics that will be required to have a future energy supply
03:42without CO2 emissions, with the integration of different technologies, different stakeholders,
03:53different customers.
03:55So it will be a really interesting topic and I'm happy to see that all of them are covered
04:01by our SeaGrey activities.
