00:33Yes, I can define that SIGRE is something very important in my life, in my professional life.
00:40It's also the place where I could make my best friends in life.
00:53Oh, I have been in SIGRE.
00:55Next year, I will be 40 years of participation in SIGRE.
01:00So I started in 1982.
01:10Professionally, SIGRE gave me the world, the connection with friends and colleagues
01:17and information from all parts of the world.
01:20On a personal basis, I think I became a world citizen where I could meet many people,
01:32interesting people from different nationalities.
01:35So it's very good on both sides.
01:47I think that my most important contribution is to materialize the HVDC technology,
01:57which I proposed when times were not so positive for HVDC, high-voters' arrogance.
02:06And today is a very well-recognized technology.
02:10I think I could have given a small contribution to that.
02:23Well, I think this virtual centennial session is a result of a huge effort from many people,
02:32the central office people, the TC group people.
02:36So it's a necessity that we have to do this in the virtual form.
02:42But I'm pretty much secure that this arrangement that we have done here,
02:50it's a success plan and people will enjoy it.
03:02This is how do we see SIGRE in the future.
03:05This is an important question.
03:06You know that in the early times, technology was something very much apart from business.
03:14So people say, either you go to technology or either you go to business.
03:18So today, the world we are living in now, everything is meshed, coupled.
03:26So technology and business are very much related.
03:30And SIGRE is really the platform, the best platform in the world,
03:35where you can get information on technology and on business.
03:40So the SIGRE rules in the future will become more and more important.
03:45SIGRE rules in the future.
