00:00Let's check in now with Rochelle for tonight's weather forecast.
00:03Thanks, Nisha. Good evening, TNT. Here's a rundown on your weather.
00:07Let's start with some good news. Tonight, the Met Office says will be cloudy with occasional showers in varying localities.
00:14With a few showers becoming heavy and thundery, especially after midnight.
00:19So some of you will sleep like a baby.
00:22With temperatures dropping to 24 degrees in Trinidad and 26 over in Tobago.
00:27And if you've been praying for a little more rain during the day, well, your prayers have been answered.
00:33Because tomorrow will bring a perfect mix of cloudy periods with intermittent showers that will be interrupted by sunny intervals.
00:41Now, there is a high chance that a few showers will become heavy and thundery during the late morning to
00:47mid-afternoon period.
00:49Conditions will then gradually become settled towards nightfall.
00:53Daytime temperatures will reach up to 31 and 32 in Trinidad and Tobago.
00:58And while Friday will bring more sunshine than Saturday, they will both give way to cloudy skies accompanied by more
01:05showers.
01:06Now, let's take a look at our sun times now.
01:09In Trinidad, sunrise is at 5.56 and 5.53 in Tobago.
01:13And sunset at 5.42 in Trinidad and 5.39 over in Tobago.
01:17And if you decided that a beach day is what you need to take the stress away, tomorrow's sea conditions
01:23will be moderate with waves 1.5 meters to 2 meters in open waters and below 1 meter in sheltered
01:30areas.
01:30But exercise caution, especially because of those occasional long period swells.
01:35It's now time for your time times.
01:46Did you know that what some people may call dirty rain is actually called wet deposition?
01:52Let me explain.
01:54Rain does more than just water our plants and fill our rivers.
01:58It also helps remove particles and certain pollutants from the atmosphere.
02:03This process is known as wet deposition.
02:06As raindrops form and fall, they collect dust, Saharan dust and other airborne particles, carrying them down to the ground.
02:16Sometimes this can leave a dusty residue on your car or outdoor furniture.
02:21So what we sometimes call dirty rain can actually be an example of wet deposition at work.
02:27Well, now you know.
02:29And that's all for weather tonight.
02:31But stick around because Sergio has his sports news next.
02:35Here's what's coming up.
02:37Well, TNT netballers want...
