00:12Today, we are customizing our sneakers.
00:15DIY style.
00:17So, I don't know if you know, but custom sneakers are like huge right now.
00:21I'm seeing them everywhere from celebrities to athletes.
00:24Everybody's like, you know what?
00:25I'm getting some plain sneakers and I'm adding my style to it.
00:29Alright, so should we get started?

00:32I see a hot pink Sharpie marker.
00:35So, I'm thinking I'm going to get started with the Sharpies.
00:38Okay, if you do Sharpies, then I should try these paint markers instead.
00:43I really don't have a vision right now.
00:45I really don't know what I'm going for.
00:47So, it's going to be a free ball.
00:48It's going to be representative of what's going on in my head, which is a lot.
00:52The only thing I'm really good at drawing are those middle school S's.

01:29So, next I'm going to try these iron-on patches.

02:59So, it's just kind of making it softer.

03:10If you're walking around with acrylic paint on your shoes, scuffing them up on the sidewalk,
03:14you might lose some of the paint.
03:15But I think the sharpies are okay.
03:18And the graffiti fabric markers are definitely okay, too.

03:41So, the patch is coming up a little bit more.

03:51If you're caught in a rainstorm, jumping in puddles, you can go for it because it's actually

03:56At least from what I'm seeing.
03:58The pens, even the Sharpies, and even the acrylic paint, it's really not going to budge.

04:04Yeah, overall, this was totally a successful Test Lab.
04:07Aside from the patches, everything was perfect.
04:10Even if we were kind of iffy about it in the beginning, it totally came through in the shoe.
04:14It withstood the tests.

04:16So, it really, really worked.
04:17This patch, I'm just going to rip off the patch.
04:20And now I have this really cool, funky pair of sneakers that I did.
