00:04Hi, this is Connie. I'm from Refinery29 and we are in Beauty Test Lab today and we're going to be
00:08trying out the Shu Amora Art of Hair Volume Maker Invisible Texturizing Powder, which sounds a lot
00:14more complicated than it actually is. So this is a little brush. I'm going to take it out of the
00:19packaging that promises to give you Dolly Parton level texture and volume in your hair. It's not
00:27like a dinky little like half-inch lift. It like will give you the biggest hair you've ever gotten
00:32in your entire life. So I'm working with day-old hair. It's not thin and not thick, so it's pretty
00:38normal hair and we're going to see what this looks like on me. So a couple clicks and then paint
00:46it
00:46onto the roots. It's a little messy, but the powder is invisible, so you just dust it in. It won't
00:57leave that white baby powder look. I'm trying to really work it in there and getting it into my scalp.
01:18If you just use your fingers to lift it up. Already it makes a huge difference and this is without
01:28me
01:29even backcombing it or doing anything else super special with it. If you run actually a blow dryer
01:36through your hair on a cold setting, it's supposed to set it, but honestly for everyday purposes this
01:42is all you need. So the only downside is this is that it's $48, but if really big hair is
01:48something
01:48that's really important to you, I think it's definitely worth it because I mean it obviously
01:52works. So I give this a pass. Your baby powder, your dry shampoo, I don't think anything is going to
02:01give
02:01you this kind of look except for backcombing and teasing your hair which isn't really great for you.
02:07So pass.
