00:00I first learned about sex when I was in third grade in my mom's car.
00:05My mother explained it pretty bare bones to me.
00:07It's like you've got a key and then you've got a lock and a two gist.
00:12The first time I realized it was for procreational purposes was with some older friends of mine
00:20and we remember looking in some kind of book that I had and they were like, oh, sex is
00:25how you make babies.
00:26And I was like, no.
00:29I first learned what gay sex was when I started doing theater around the age of 10 or 11.
00:35It just seemed like, oh, these two things you don't necessarily, or you didn't grow up necessarily
00:40hearing about them going together, but I guess they do.
00:45And then again, I didn't really think much of it for the longest time until I met someone
00:50I was interested in.
00:51Mine was, it was like pretty much as good, as good and as comfortable as it could be.
00:57I just have a weird hymen story because I had a weird hymen.
01:03There is this misconception about the hymen that it actually breaks or like your cherry pops,
01:08which like about 95, 99% of the time is untrue.
01:13So I had what's called a septate hymen.
01:16If you imagine the vaginal opening, it looked like this.
01:20So it's just like the hymen was just kind of right down the middle.
01:25Like basically looked like I had two vagina holes.
01:28We'd fooled around.
01:29We had done pretty much everything that wasn't actual sex.
01:35We didn't have a time limit set, but we knew we wanted to wait until we knew we were really
01:40into each other.
01:41He had just performed in Sweeney Todd and I went to see his closing performance.
01:46And I remember just sitting in this room with him with no one else I really knew.
01:50So at one point I looked at him and he just looked back at me and I said,
01:55Can you show me where the bathroom is?
01:56I was kind of nervous going in because it had been tugged on a few times and it did hurt.
02:02It was a little bit of an audible pop, which was scary.
02:06And then I bled for a little while, but then we managed to do it.
02:11I just remember it being so freezing in that house.
02:14I just like needed to get out of that room.
02:17He took me to the bathroom and it just sort of happened.
02:22When the moment was right, it was very right.
02:25And when he switched on the heated floors, I knew it was love.
02:30You know, when you have sex for the first time, it's never going to be the best sex you've
02:35ever had.
02:36And it certainly wasn't.
02:37And I got sore after a little bit because of my weird hymen.
02:40I think that I'm very fortunate overall.
02:44Having sex for the first time and for the following couple of years was a very positive experience.
02:52And I'm proud to say I'm still active to this day.
