00:04I am wearing a $24 eyeshadow on one side of my face and a $5 eyeshadow on the other.
00:10Can you tell which is which?
00:13Today we are duping Stila liquid eyeshadows.
00:18So I've got a collection of shadows here today.
00:22Most of them are from the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow line, which is a super,
00:26super glittery collection.
00:28I reviewed the shade Smoldering Satin, which every time I read just looks like Smoldering
00:33Satan to me.
00:34But I reviewed that in another video so check it out because I really put it to the test.
00:38I love these eyeshadows.
00:40I don't think I've tried an eyeshadow that's exactly like it.
00:43They're so unique.
00:45The colors are so beautiful.
00:46The glitter in them is so fine yet so impactful.
00:53Obviously, I told you guys I did that video and I did notice in the comments that some
00:57of you guys were saying that they are a little pricey at $24.
00:59I totally feel you.
01:01So I decided to find some alternatives that'll give you a similar look.
01:06So without further ado, let's get into it.
01:10First dupe we have is for the Stila Shimmer & Glow Shadow in Jezebel.
01:16It's a metallic shadow versus the Glitter & Glows, which are very, very glittery, obviously.
01:23They're called Glitter & Glow.
01:24It's a beautiful metallic, kind of like rose goldy bronze.
01:28So pretty.
01:29And I think I found one that's so similar.
01:31And it is the Wet n' Wild Mega Last Liquid Katsu in the shade Shells & Whistles.
01:38Applicator is kind of similar too.
01:39Like it's not as flexible as the Stila one, but it has the same kind of doe foot applicator
01:45that's a little bit more on the flat side.
01:48So they look ridiculously similar.
01:51They have a very similar metallic finish.
01:54They're both really pigmented as you can see.
01:56The Stila side is just a hair more on the pink side, but honestly on the lids, you can't even
02:03tell.
02:03And I'm going to show you, because I'm going to wear them.
02:07I'm going to do Stila on my right eye and Wet n' Wild on my left eye.
02:12Did you guess right?
02:13I have a base on, which is just like a matte, warm brown shadow from this new palette from Milani.
02:20It's called Most Love Mattes.
02:22So I'm just going to swipe it on.
02:25And look how pigmented these are.
02:27The Stila shadows retail for $24, and the Wet n' Wild ones retail for $4.99, so definitely
02:33a huge difference in price there.
02:35I'm going to do the same thing on my left lid with the Wet n' Wild.
02:39Confirmation from my producer, Magel, they look the same!
02:43I think the Wet n' Wild one sets faster than the Stila one, so if you are going to do
02:47any
02:47detailed work where you need to blend it or move it, I would say work quickly.
02:50The Wet n' Wild liquid catsuits come in a bunch of different shades.
02:54There's some silver ones, some blue ones.
02:56I would highly recommend getting those.
02:57I have many, many, many other dupes for you.
02:59This is the only one actually that I have in the Shimmer and Glow line, so the metallic
03:03shades.
03:04Everything else is super glittery, and it's going to be real fun.
03:07First up, we have the shades Smoldering Satin and Smoky Storm.
03:13Now, these are actually very similar shades from the Stila Glitter and Glow line.
03:19Do not worry.
03:20I'm not saying they're duped for each other, but I'm just saying that we found something
03:24that is very similar, kind of in the middle of both shades.
03:28On the right side here, we have Smoky Storm, and then right here on the left is Smoldering
03:34Satin.
03:34I love this shade, it's so glittery, I mean, as you can see, it's like wow.
03:41I think I found a drugstore alternative that is really similar.
03:46This is the Revlon Photo Ready Eye Art Dual Sided Shadow.
03:51This is the shade Twinkle Topaz.
03:53It retails for $9.99, and on one side, it has a doe foot applicator and a really pretty
04:00metallic kind of base shade.
04:02You can obviously wear this shade all over the lid if you want, or you can top it with
04:08the other side, which is the glitter topper.
04:09So this is just the first layer, which is the metallic side.
04:14Here's the glitter topper.
04:15It is a very glittery gold, and it comes with a brush.
04:19So what you can do is layer it on top of your base, like so, and then let that dry
04:27on your
04:28lips before you do anything crazy with your eyes.
04:31But as you can see, because of the gold color in the Revlon Eye Art pens, it looks a little
04:37bit closer on the Smoky Storm side, but I think that since Smoky Storm and Smoldering
04:41State Satin, Satin, are so close, it could really be a dupe for either.
04:46So, next up, we have a dupe for the Stila Shadow in Molten Midnight.
04:52Molten Midnight is this beautiful opaque black with this silver, kind of silver and gold glitter
04:57running through it.
04:58It is so beautiful.
04:59I mean, look at that.
05:01Imagine, like, doing a smoky eye with this shade.
05:04It's good.
05:05Keeping with the Revlon Photo Ready Eye Arts, I have two shades here that you can use to
05:13kind of create a shade that looks very similar to Molten Midnight.
05:17I have the shade Black Brilliance, and I'm going to use the black metallic side of the
05:23pen.
05:24And again, these are so pigmented, you really only need one swipe.
05:29So you can obviously use the eye arts as they are intended.
05:31You can wear this frosty white over the black, but since we're trying to go for a similar
05:36look to Molten Midnight, I actually have another shade of the same product which is called Desert
05:41Dazzle.
05:42Now Desert Dazzle has this amazing glittery gold side.
05:46They're super similar.
05:48It doesn't have as much of the silver on the Revlon side, but still has a really similar
05:54effect.
05:55And I actually think the Revlon Black is actually more opaque than the Stila Black.
06:01So it's really kind of what you're going for, you know?
06:03Alright, last but not least is this beautiful shade of the Stila Glitter and Glows, and it
06:10is Perlina.
06:12It is the prettiest frosty white with gorgeous blue and pink shimmer running through it.
06:21This is a pretty unique shade in terms of the glitter in this.
06:24But I found a few products that kind of give a similar vibe.
06:30So the first of which is this pigment from NYX.
06:33It's the shade Diamond.
06:34It retails for $6.49.
06:36And I know this is not a liquid shadow, but pigments are really versatile for a couple
06:41of reasons.
06:41You can wear it wet, which will really intensify the pigment.
06:44That's what we're going to do today.
06:45But you can also wear them dry all over the lid.
06:47So what I'm going to do is tap some product into the cat, and then I'm going to take some
06:56of this setting spray.
06:56This is Kat Von D Lock It.
06:58I'm going to spray it directly into the cat.
07:02I'm just going to mix it around and get some of that beauteous glitter onto my brush.
07:17So the NYX shimmer definitely isn't, I wouldn't consider it a color match dupe to Perlina, but
07:24in terms of the finish, I think the finish is very similar.
07:26So I actually have another product that can kind of give you a similar vibe, and that
07:31is the Makeup Geek Sparkler in the shade Lightyear.
07:35Same deal with this one.
07:36It is a loose pigment, so I'm going to apply it to my hand the same way that I applied
07:41the
07:42NYX.
07:43This one retails for $10, so it's definitely more expensive than the NYX, but they're
07:47really beautiful and super sparkly.
07:52Like the NYX pigment, I'm not going to say that they are color match dupes for Perlina,
07:58but they do have the same frostiness.
08:00The Makeup Geek Sparklers are, in my opinion, a little bit less, they have less obvious glitter
08:06than the Stila or the NYX, but when you apply them wet, they have this really beautiful iridescence
08:11quality to it.
08:12And this one, actually, the shade Lightyear actually has a little bit of duochrome.
08:15You can see it kind of flipping from gold to look kind of like a greenish.
08:20It's really pretty.
08:21Last up, kind of an honorable mention for this particular category, are these beautiful
08:25e.l.f. glitter gels.
08:27They retail for $4, and they are so beautiful.
08:30These are super glittery and pretty wet.
08:34Like if you want to put it all over the lid, you could do kind of like a wet glittery
08:37look,
08:37but I'll show them to you on.
08:39And I'm going to put them on thick just so that you can see what it looks like, but I
08:45do recommend, if you are going to buy these, applying them in sheer layers and letting it
08:52dry first because it takes so long to dry down.
08:55This is Twinkle Pink.
08:56Really pretty.
08:57It does have more pink in it than Perlina.
09:00Then there is Turquoise Twilight, which is really beautiful as well.
09:06Then we have a little Rose Gold.
09:10It's easy to go overboard on this, though, so I would not apply this from the tube onto
09:14your eye.
09:15Definitely put it onto the back of your hand, use a brush, use your finger.
09:18And last but not least, my personal favorite in this selection, which is Gilded Bronze.
09:23Now, oh my gosh, this one is so pretty.
09:27These are really lovely.
09:28If you want to go for a super glittery look, you can definitely get a really high-impact look
09:34with it.
09:34Again, I would suggest layering it rather than going in with a really thick layer in one
09:39go because it will take a very long time to dry, but if you work in layers, they do dry
09:44down.
09:44All right, and there you have it.
09:45Those are some alternatives to the Stila Glitter and Glows.
09:48The Stila shadows are so beautiful and not going to lie, we went through a lot of
09:55product, and finding, like, exact matches was tough.
10:00The dupes definitely will give you a similar look, and some of them and a lot of them are
10:05actually really, really long-wearing, and it actually also depends on what you're looking
10:09for.
