00:02I'm the kind of shopper that's very dependent on ratings.
00:06If something has a poor rating, I'm probably going to give it a pass.
00:08If something has a very high rating, like a thousand 4.5 star reviews,
00:13I'm probably going to give it a go.
00:14So, in another edition of top-rated products,
00:18I give you the top-rated products from Target.
00:22I got a nice definitive list from Target themselves,
00:25and I'm going to put them all to the test today.
00:28So, this is the e.l.f. Mineral Infused Face Primer.
00:31The top-rated primer on Target has a very immediately silicone-y texture,
00:37which I will say right off the bat,
00:40I'm not a huge fan of silicone-heavy primers,
00:45but it still feels silicone-y, but it doesn't have that like super spackly feeling
00:51that a lot of silicone primers have.
00:54Okay, so the foundation that is top-rated at Target is this one from a brand called Haley's.
01:01This is the Haley's Liquid Matte Foundation.
01:04I've actually never used anything from this brand before.
01:07I think it's a very, like, Target has been really up in the ante on getting interesting new brands.
01:12They have, apart from like the usual, like Maybelline, Physician Formula, that sort of thing,
01:17they have a lot of interesting, kind of more indie brands.
01:20I like the packaging.
01:21It's nice and like firm, but it has a squeezy tube.
01:28It's not one that I think you should let sit on your skin for a bit before you blend,
01:32because I think that I kind of let it sit before I started blending,
01:36and it's a little bit hard to move around.
01:38It's not bad.
01:39I like that it kind of seems buildable.
01:42It doesn't seem like it's giving me like full coverage right off the bat,
01:45which I prefer personally.
01:48Okay.
01:49I'm gonna mix it up a little bit.
01:50I'm gonna do eyebrows next.
01:51This is the Reyna Rebelled Rebel Eye Paint.
01:55It's for brows and eyes.
01:56So I have two shades.
01:58Probably gonna mix the two.
02:02I like this isn't super pigmented right off the bat.
02:07I'm gonna powder my face now.
02:09I'm going to use the top rated powder.
02:12It is by Pacifica.
02:13It's called the Mineral Neutralizing Mattifier.
02:17And when you open it, it says you are so pretty.
02:21What a nice sentiment.
02:23I will say Pacifica needs to up its shade ranges.
02:29I'm gonna leave it there and move on to blush.
02:33The top rated blush at Target is the Pixi by Petra Beauty Blush Duo in Peach Honey.
02:39I feel like this could be a nice highlighter if you just use that side.
02:43And there's like the peach side here, but I think you can also mix them.
02:47It's giving me like a little bit of a glow, but it's not like you have sparkles on your face.
02:57That's the blush.
02:58I actually really liked it.
02:59I kind of went into it being like,
03:00this is really sparkly, like I'm not gonna like this blush.
03:04But I actually am so pleasantly surprised.
03:07I do think that it's one of those blushes that can double as your highlighter if you want to just
03:10do something really quick.
03:12But I love highlighter and I'm gonna put on some more sparkle.
03:16The top rated highlighter at Target is this one from Makeup Geek.
03:20This is the shade Night Light.
03:21These ones are pretty intense highlighters, which, you know, I like.
03:31Alright, so moving on, I'm gonna go on to eyes.
03:35And I have another Pixi product.
03:37They're so pretty.
03:38These are the liquid fairy lights.
03:42I have two shades.
03:43I think I'm gonna go with the coppery shade today.
03:46It's all over the lid and kind of like a nice soft glittery vibe.
03:53So these actually kind of remind me of the Stila glitter and glow shadows.
03:59They're a little bit more on the sheer side than the Stila glitter and glows, but they definitely have that
04:03vibe.
04:11I'm kind of getting glitter everywhere, but I'm not mad about it.
04:16I really like this eyeshadow.
04:18It's not as, like, full pigment as I would have wanted, but you can kind of sheer it out.
04:21You can kind of go over it if you've got more impact.
04:23So it's definitely something you can work with.
04:25I'm gonna follow up with the top rated eyeliner, and that's the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kolka Jol,
04:31which I'm not surprised by at all because it is a very good eyeliner.
04:34I'm gonna use this shade.
04:35It is just brown.
04:38I'm just gonna do a little bit of eyeliner on the top of my lash line,
04:42kind of, like, blend it out for a little bit more definition.
04:46I really like this eyeliner.
04:48It is super duper smooth.
04:49It doesn't tug on your eye.
04:51It lasts a long time.
04:53No complaints here.
04:55All right, so to finish off the eyes is obviously mascara, and this is the top rated mascara.
04:59It's the Revlon Super Length Mascara.
05:02It has a nice fat brush.
05:10This is a lengthening mascara, obviously, so I'm not expecting volume.
05:14But it is keeping my lashes really separate, which I like.
05:20It's really fanning them out.
05:27Definitely getting some length here.
05:32I like that mascara a lot, actually.
05:34It really gave me a lot of length, especially on my good eye.
05:39So I'm just gonna top it all off with the final step to any makeup routine.
05:44Lipstick.
05:45This is the Lip Bar lipstick.
05:48This is the shade Curlfriend.
05:52Cute.
05:52It's a lipstick line that's available at Target.
05:54Again, one of those brands that is kind of hard to get a hold of,
05:58so it's cool that Target carries them.
06:02I really like this color.
06:04Like, in the tube, I was like, oh man, it's a kind of pink.
06:06But on the lips, I feel like it's a really good, like, kind of more pinky neutral for me.
06:11Overall, this is the look.
06:12Kind of like a little wing it sort of situation, but I'm into it.
06:17So I will check in with you guys this evening after some many hours have passed.
06:23But so far, I'm pretty impressed.
06:24The look itself is definitely one that I'd wear.
06:27I'd wear it again.
06:28I think the only thing that I would say is a negative is the foundation looks a little bit dry
06:34on my nose.
06:34And I think in a couple of hours, it's gonna rectify itself.

06:42We're losing the last light here.
06:43So I figured I'd just call it an end on this day and just show you guys what this makeup
06:48looks like.
06:49The foundation was a little too matte when it first went on.
06:51But like, because it was so just devastatingly hot today, my natural oils kind of seeped through.
06:58And now my skin, I think, looks really good.
07:00Blush stayed on.
07:01I can still see it.
07:02Highlighter is still popping.
07:03It's kind of fused with my sweat at this point.
07:05I think my skin looks really dewy.
07:06Brows, I think, look really good.
07:08I like it.
07:09That product is kind of sheer and buildable.
07:12The glitter shadow has held up so well.
07:14I didn't wear any primer on my eyes and it looks great.
07:17I think it's amazing for like a party or holiday.
07:20The eyeliner and the mascara also held up pretty well, too.
07:22I'm getting a little bit of smudging here.
07:24And then last but not least, the lips.
07:26It did get a little bit crusty toward the center of my lips, but it was really nothing that a
07:30little bit of lip balm couldn't fix.
07:31I really like the shade.
07:32I didn't have to reapply it after I ate, but that's pretty typical.
