00:16I dyed my hair pink because I was growing out
00:20my blonde hair that I dyed last year.
00:22I went to Sally's Beauty Supply
00:25and got a pink tube of dye.
00:27I loved the bright pink at first.
00:32It was really fun.
00:33It's something I always wanted to try
00:34and it was great while it lasted,
00:36but it didn't last very long
00:37and now I'm ready for another change.

00:44I've been doing hair for 18 years.
00:47My specialty is color correction and balayage.
00:51I want a little more natural look
00:53and redo the whole thing,
00:55go a little bit darker.
00:56Okay, so basically just like a whole hair transformation.

01:05I used Olaplex to protect her porous ends
01:11and also I used the Red Can Bleach Recovery Oil.
01:16So first, I added the highlights with foils
01:20and used a different formula for the part already bleached
01:24to protect from overlapping and over damaging.
01:28I am very excited to see a professional for my hair transformation.
01:33I definitely shouldn't be doing my own hair.
01:36Yeah, please just get a hair done by professionals.
01:42I tone the roots between foils.
01:45I used semi-permanent color for that
01:48since she wants to go darker than her natural level.
01:52It takes longer to deposit the pigment on healthy new regrowth.
01:56So I left it for 15 minutes first
01:59and then put the color through to the ends
02:02and left it for another 10 minutes
02:04because porous ends always grab the pigment right away.
02:08Once the highlights process done,
02:10I washed her hair but I still see little pink on the ends.
02:15So I used different toner to cancel out the pink tone
02:20and it took me another 20 minutes.
02:23And then also another toner to tone all over the hair.
02:29For the haircut, since she doesn't want to change the length,
02:33I just trimmed the dead ends on the bottom
02:35and then added the lots of layers to give it more body and movement.
02:39I also did a pointing cut technique to give extra textures
02:43to make it easy to style as her natural wavy hair.
02:49I have definitely thought about getting a shag for a while.
02:54I just think it's a really cool like punk look.
02:57I'm also excited about getting a fringe again.
03:00I've had them done before like above the eyebrow
03:04but I'm liking a longer bang.
03:06So I'm just excited to get longer bangs again.
03:15She actually has a beautiful natural waves.
03:18She can totally let it air dry and no need to style with brush and irons.
03:23But I just use the curling irons to give a little beachy web on it.

03:50I'm just so happy that the pink is gone and it like feels so nice and I'm excited to just
03:59not have to have like a huge routine or anything like that.
04:02And just throw my hair in a clip because I hate how it looks because I love how it looks
