00:00What is the reason Republicans lost the war in Iran?
00:05Well, I think it's largely true because it drove the gasoline up a little bit short-term,
00:11and probably that's, probably it's true. But at the same time, if I had it to do again,
00:16I'd have to do it again, because long-term, it's the only answer. You can't let Iran have a nuclear
00:21war.
00:21Do you feel like it was worth it?
00:23I do, yeah. I mean, well, you have no choice. I mean, I thought the oil would go up a
00:27lot more,
00:27and I did it on that basis. You have no choice. You have to do it. You can't let Iran
00:31have a nuclear
00:31weapon or everything that you see here someday might not exist. And maybe this, but this building
00:39might be the only one that does. So, yeah, I think that, look, I mean, I'll get along probably with
00:46the Democrats, unless they want to be destructive, but they have the power of the veto. So if we don't
00:50like what they're doing, they've already called and they want to talk about things and that's fine.
00:56But yeah, people, the Iran thing we had to do, and we continue to do it. We have tremendous
01:03oil flowing out of the Hormone Straight now. At the beginning, there was none.
01:08And probably that's the primary reason. The price, not the war, the price.
01:12Sir, you held 30 rallies across the country in your final speech in front of the elections. Do you have
01:19any regrets about the way you closed down the campaign?
01:23No, look, I mean, if I were on the ballot, we would have won. You saw the people. There were
01:27packed, thousands and thousands of people at every rally. And if I was on the ballot, we would have won.
01:32But they just, you couldn't transfer that love. There was such love at those rallies,
01:36it was a proud of one. We weren't able to transfer the love to candidates.
01:41Did you, did any of your aides try to talk about that speech on one of their people?
01:46Which one are we talking about?
01:48The one of the Reflecting Pool in any of your aides advise you to do something different?
01:51I heard it was a very good speech, got great reviews. That was only a speech on the Reflecting
01:56Pool. That had nothing to do with anything else. That was a speech very much like this is today on
02:01this incredible place that we're building at the White House. It's going to be here for
02:05many, many years and serving our country well. That was only a sort of a ribbon cutting because
02:11the Reflecting Pool hasn't worked since 1922. It's, you know, over 100 years, it's never worked. It's
02:19always leaked and was always a mess. And we fixed it. We made it great. That was not a speech.
02:24I was just
02:25talking about the Reflecting Pool and then a couple of other comments.
02:29I mean, our speeches were really the speeches made at the 30 rallies. And those speeches were,
02:35that was tremendous love. It was, it was pretty amazing.
02:39Are the Democrats when you speak to a class today?
02:42I can't tell you that. They may tell you, but I can't tell you that.
02:45Do they have any impeachment at all?
02:47No, no, no.
02:49Are you concerned about it?
02:50Not even a little bit. I think it would destroy, I think it would destroy the Democrat
02:55Party if they didn't. It was impeachment for no reason, what, for having a successful country.
03:00Our country is more successful now than at any time in its history. Watch the beam go up.
03:05the speaker. Watch the speaker.
03:28The speaker. Watch the speaker.
03:33Watch the speaker.
03:53Now envision chandeliers all over you, sir.
03:56Envision marble floor. Oh, it's going to be beautiful. This will be the most beautiful.
04:10Yeah, probably July. Right, right, right. It's going to be great.
04:19Middle to end of next year, depending on surfaces.
04:46It's not steel that's used on a roof to hold back rain. It's to hold helicopters.
05:00Did you guys see the helipad from up top, how beautiful that is?
05:04It's incredible.
05:07It's incredible.
05:11This is going to be more incredible.
05:39So I thought the press should be. This was a non-pressive event. I said, this is the greatest, right?
05:58Can you see the helipad come out of it? Yes.
06:01A pole? Yes.
06:13A piece of art.
06:17A piece of art.
06:35A piece of art.
06:36It's very talented.
06:37Very talented people to do that.
06:38Very talented.
06:41Sir, you want to add one?
07:20They put all this steel up in three weeks, can you believe it?
07:23The whole thing was done in two and a half weeks.
07:26Pretty amazing.
07:27How are you, sir?
07:30Good job.
07:45And that'll fit perfectly within a hundredth of an inch.
07:50Can you believe it?
07:51Seriously?
07:52Yeah.
07:52They rarely have to do any chopping.
07:59Watch.
08:02Pretty amazing, isn't it?
08:04The entire building, every single hole was perfect, which is rare, but we had great people.
08:10The Federal Reserve got quick at the office.
08:15What a shame.
08:36You know, those guys are standing under.
08:41Personally, I'd pass on that.
08:43Because if one bolt, if one bolt fell down, that's it.
08:49Your history.
08:50Pretty amazing.
08:51I love it.
08:53Would you like to move over there?
08:55Dan?
08:56Right under that?
08:57Look, that's right under there.
08:58We'll send Margo.
08:59Let's send Margo home.
09:02No, if anything fell off there, but they'd do it.
09:06Except the Secret Service guy's not very well protected.
09:10I don't think he has any idea what's going on in the boat.
09:14See where that fits?
09:16It's like a glove.
09:17See the sprug that they put right through it?
09:21Look at that.
09:22It fits perfect.
09:27Now they bolt it in, and that's the end of that.
09:29Yeah.
09:30Pretty good, right?
09:31Yep.
09:31That's pretty good.
09:32Go ahead.
09:33Did you have any other questions?
09:34Did you know the Vice President was going to post that X message talking so much about
09:40the results of the war and how it impacted it?
09:44Well, I knew the war was going to impact it.
09:46But whether it impacted or not, Iran can't have a nuclear weapon.
09:50No, but the Vice President wrote a very lengthy post about how the war impacted the
09:56war.
09:57Well, that's it.
09:59I knew he was — I know how he feels about it.
10:01I think it was — I think it was fine.
10:03Yeah.
10:03I thought it was good.
10:05We knew that.
10:05I know that — I knew that when I went in.
10:08And we stopped them from having a nuclear weapon.
10:11And they will never have a nuclear weapon.
10:12Have you spoken to Vice President Vance?
10:14Yeah.
10:15Yeah.
10:17I'm speaking to him about a lot of things.
10:20But, I mean, we'll see what happens.
10:23Everybody — I mean, you don't know who's talking about running.
10:27You can have people running.
10:29You can have a lot of people — maybe a lot of people running.
10:31Maybe nobody's going to run.
10:32Maybe he won't run.
10:34I don't know who's going to run.
10:35But I can tell you that, as far as that war is concerned, I would have done nothing
10:39different.
10:40We've totally broken their military.
10:42The Navy's gone.
10:43Their Air Force is gone.
10:45Their anti-aircraft is gone.
10:53That's a dangerous job.
10:56I didn't know how they did it.
