00:00the storm that is clearly not clearing up anytime soon is the one in miami with yannis and to make
00:07matters worse here craig you got doc rivers coming out uh earlier and saying like good luck miami
00:15because you know now listen doc river is not only player hall of fame coach yeah uh he's telling
00:23just that yannis off the court great guy would have a beer with him trying to coach him good
00:29luck he's more aggravation than he's worth uh and that is uh that is going to be interesting to see
00:36because it's not good it's not going well obviously he already skipped the i believe the post game
00:43conference yesterday uh here yannis doesn't want to talk to anybody he obviously doesn't like to lose
00:50uh and you got a guy like spolstra who again you know if he could deal with lebron i'm sure
00:57he can
00:58deal with uh yannis here but there is clearly some sort of disconnect going on here because
01:05it's not getting any better and now we're starting to see temper tantrums being thrown which is
01:10never a good thing especially great you know what's going to happen they're going to run with
01:15this the media and they are just going to make it they're going to make it just uh it's an
01:21inferno
01:21right now in miami and if they don't start winning games it's not going away anytime soon
01:27yeah i mean the the one thing that miami has going for them a little bit is that
01:31on the media side i don't know it doesn't seem like it's really difficult like it used to be
01:35like we we don't have the same uh level of journalism here that we had in the past and look
01:41i'm fully
01:41culpable with that too i worked for the herald for a couple of years but you know our our uh
01:46our
01:46journalists aren't quite uh what they were uh you know in terms of criticism i would say many years
01:52ago but nationally yes i 100 that's going to happen so what you do if you're miami is what you
01:58do if
01:59you're any team in this spot joe and we see it in sports not just not just in basketball but
02:03anywhere
02:03else is what do you say you say it's early that's what you hang on to that's all you got
02:08that's what
02:08you keep playing right that's the card you keep playing you're watching the same thing that i'm
02:13watching i mean if clay thompson doesn't hit that shot against the clippers they lose that game too
02:18so that's correct so so so you have to give because if spolster wasn't there you don't have to
02:26but because it's spolster and he's widely considered to be the best coach in the nba and widely
02:30considered to be a hall of fame coach too i think you have to give this guy 20 games like
02:34i i don't i
02:35don't think it's fair this few games in to say it's a wrap and it's not going to work but
02:41like we
02:41said yesterday what is the record i don't even know if you feel that way joe if it's 20 games
02:47but let's just say we use it and they're 6 and 14 it's fair to say at that point it's
02:54it's big trouble
02:55for them because 50 wins is now out it's getting to 38 and 40 something to get into the play
03:02play in
03:03and and i guess that's the saving grace for a team like miami if it is at that point so
03:08uh you know most
03:09of the guys that cover the team here and myself included from hearing them talk joe they thought
03:15the opposite they thought miami would be 14 and 6 through the first 20 games we got yannis we got
03:20and then maybe as the season went on things fade because the team is not deep well all of a
03:24sudden
03:24it's fading now and and they haven't even got the season started yet basically so uh i i am with
03:30you
03:30it doesn't appear right now to be working and because they have a great coach you got to give it
03:37another couple couple weeks i think
03:38you
