00:06 in an ugly fashion, but a win is a win in the NFL.

00:10 Raiders are two and a half point favorites
00:12 over on FanDuel against the New England Patriots.
00:16 This is the low moment for the Patriots,
00:19 I think in 20 years.
00:22 I think I wanna say Jacob, I mean,
00:24 the last time I think that they were down like this,
00:28 if I'm not mistaken, I think I may have been at the game
00:31 when they played the Dolphins,
00:33 Bledsoe was out and Tom Brady was in,
00:36 this guy Brady, I don't know who he was.
00:38 He got mauled by the Dolphins
00:40 and people were calling for Belichick at that time.
00:43 20 years later and six Super Bowls later,
00:46 I think here we are, two decades later.
00:48 - Yeah, we're finally starting to hear more
00:51 of that Bill Belichick on the hot seat chatter.
00:53 It's been practically my whole life
00:55 where we haven't heard that.
00:57 So it's kind of wild to start hearing it now,
00:59 but as crazy as it sounds this week,
01:01 I think you have to back the Patriots in this spot.
01:04 I know they're coming off of two brutal losses.
01:07 They lost by a combined 72 to three
01:09 to the Cowboys and the Saints.
01:10 So I get why everyone would say,
01:12 I want nothing to do with this team right now,
01:14 especially with how bad their offense has looked.
01:17 But the Raiders defense is one of the bottom five units
01:20 in the NFL in terms of EPA, I believe.
01:22 And I know that they just beat the Packers
01:24 on Monday Night Football,
01:26 but their defense didn't necessarily play
01:28 super well in that game.
01:30 Max Crosby got a lot of pressure,
01:31 but outside of that,
01:32 I thought Jordan Love just made
01:34 way too many mistakes in that game.
01:35 That's what kept the Raiders around.
01:37 That's what allowed them to win.
01:38 So Mac Jones could do the same thing.
01:41 I'm not saying that he's not going to throw the game away
01:44 with a bad pick six or a bunch of bad turnovers,
01:46 but I do think that the Patriots will come in
01:48 with maybe a grounds dominant game plan,
01:50 get Ramondre Stevenson going
01:52 and kind of get revenge on the Raiders
01:54 for what was one of the more brutal losses
01:56 I've ever seen last year on that last second lateral
02:00 that Chandler Jones got somehow.
02:02 It just won the biggest coaching and playing mistakes
02:05 I've seen from the Patriots.
02:06 So I think they'll be motivated for this one, for sure.
02:09 It's hard to trust them,
02:10 but I do like them as underdogs here.
02:12 Maybe I'll look foolish next week,
02:14 but I think you got to back them.
