00:03 We had a doubleheader last night in the WNBA.
00:05 Second game of that doubleheader was the Storm and the Liberty.
00:07 The Liberty improved to 4-0 in a lower scoring tilt, 74-63 over the Storm,
00:12 who dropped them to 1-3.
00:14 Branagh Stewart in that game, 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists.
00:17 The Liberty looks like they're back on course here for
00:20 yet a possible run at a WNBA championship.
00:22 >> Yeah, Sabrina, you asked you great last night as well, 20 points and 8 times.
00:28 And Jonquell Jones has been a revelation, one of the key additions to this New York
00:33 team that really highlights what they can do in the front court alongside Stewie.
00:37 She is the vet.
00:38 28 minutes last night, 16 points and 8 rebounds as well.
00:42 So the Liberty off to a perfect 4-0 start, but
00:45 they were a 13-point favorite, did not cover.
00:48 Total of 166, stays well under.
00:51 New York hasn't covered in three of their first four games yet,
00:56 despite the perfect 4-0 start.
00:59 The Libs are going to be just fine.
01:00 I think the story, actually, Donnie, is with the Storm.
01:03 Seattle has the third best price to win the WNBA championship,
01:07 well behind both the Aces and the Liberty at this moment.
01:11 But Seattle was supposed to be a team that really elevated its game this offseason.
01:16 Not only the NBA's leading scorer in Jewel Lloyd, but
01:19 they add Skylar Diggins-Smith and Nneka Ogumake.
01:22 It's been a slow start for Seattle in their lottery draft pick in Nneka Mule,
01:27 an outstanding defender from Connecticut.
01:29 Due to visa issues, hasn't played just yet, or
01:32 maybe last night was her debut for Seattle.
01:36 No, she was not in the lineup last night.
01:39 So a slow start for Seattle to figure things out,
01:42 which leads the All-Rest to the WNBA title odds, where it's still the Aces and
01:47 the Liberty.
01:48 Las Vegas off to a perfect start, 60 cents in front of New York.
01:52 Really for me, there's that tier of two, but I think it's Las Vegas and
01:56 everybody else, New York even behind, as you start to look at those WNBA championship
02:00 odds, and I would still put Connecticut in front of Seattle.
02:04 The Sun looked great, Alyssa Thomas playing at an elite level, and
02:07 D'Wana Bonner continues to score.
02:10 I put Connecticut in front of Seattle.
