00:00Game number three for Team USA men's basketball is going to take place against Puerto Rico.
00:10Bill, they are a heavy favorite, but if we're looking at some of these highlights that we
00:14expect to happen, Steve Kerr is telling you, they want the top seed.
00:18They're looking for a big win against Puerto Rico.
00:21Massive spread, just like last time, right?
00:2333 and a half point spread.
00:25Puerto Rico is not playing particularly well.
00:28They're not scoring.
00:30They're shooting a lot of threes.
00:31So what to watch for in this game, Puerto Rico, they're shooting over 33 point attempts
00:35a game, shooting about 30% in order to hang with Team USA, and they're still not scoring
00:40a ton of points.
00:41So you can shoot all the threes, but if they're scoring around 75 points, I think Team USA
00:46could cover this spread.
00:48It's a huge number to deal with.
00:50And I like the fact that right now they've got four guys that have scored double figures
00:56in every game.
00:57They spread the ball out like they typically do with Team USA, scoring over 100 points.
01:02And if Steve Kerr is true to his word, I think they could put up 100 to 10 to 120 points
01:08in this game.
01:09Am I crazy?
01:10No, I don't think you're crazy at all, Bill.
01:12By the way, looking at the way this team has been structured so far, it's superstar after
01:16superstar after superstar.
01:17But it was interesting that one game Jason Tatum doesn't play, Joel Embiid doesn't play
01:21the next game.
01:22Are we having any issues with the rotation, or do you say, boy, it's just an embarrassment
01:26of riches?
01:27Not everybody's going to play every game, but as long as we win the gold medal, that's
01:31exactly what we're trying to do.
01:33Well, you know, one of my editors said something about playing matchups the other day, which
01:37you kind of scoff at at first glance.
01:39You're like, they're Team USA.
01:40They shouldn't have to play matchups.
01:42They have the best players in the world.
01:43But I think there's some truth to it.
01:45And Steve Kerr has done a good job with the lineups and the rotations.
01:49I heard Brian Windhorst yesterday mention that he's on fire.
01:52He's playing all the right pieces right now and doing it in that fashion.
01:56One of the things I think could happen tomorrow, look for Kevin Durant and LeBron James.
02:00They're dialed in here.
02:01The veterans are dialed in.
02:02I think they could take over the game early and leave it for Edwards and Booker in the
02:06second half, guys that have also scored double figures in both games.
02:11I'm just seeing a route here.
02:12I still don't like the number, but I think they're going to roll and win this one pretty
02:16handily and set themselves up to get in that medal round where we start the redeem team
02:21and dream team conversations.
02:23By the way, I still have dream team 92 over everybody.
