00:00Hey, all you parents out there, let's get excited.
00:0399.5 QIK, it's Mark and Melanie, Tampa Bay's morning crew.
00:07Melanie has inside information on a free museum day.
00:11Yes.
00:11Free museums.
00:12Free museum day.
00:14So if there is a museum in the Tampa Bay area that you have been wanting to go to,
00:18so the Dali, for example, or the Imagine Museum, I haven't even been there yet.
00:22That new one in St. Pete?
00:23Yeah, I haven't been there.
00:24I've seen people's Instagrams, though, and I'm like, okay, this looks really cool.
00:28Looks like something that would be in D.C., but I haven't wanted to spend the money to go to it.
00:34So on September 21st, it is free museum day, and it's a Saturday, too.
00:39So it's the weekend.
00:40It's not like you have to take off of work or anything like that, but a ton of museums in the area are participating.
00:47So in St. Pete, in Tampa, also Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, or Hillsborough, obviously Tampa,
00:54but Manatee and Sarasota, the Ringling Museum.
00:56I haven't been down there in Sarasota.
00:58That's cool, yeah.
00:59So, and think about if you have a family as big as Mark's, how much money you are saving.
01:05Yeah, how are we going to get them all there?
01:08That's what I'm trying to figure out.
01:09You all.
01:10Don't you have a car.
01:11Run a truck.
01:13That's called his everyday car.
01:15Two men in a truck.
01:16They're like, where are you moving to?
01:17I'm like, no, we're just taking the kids to the museum.
01:20But I need all your guys' help.
01:22Well, the full list is up if you guys want to go check it out, but Cracker Country in Tampa, I've also never been there.
01:29But apparently, because I posted this on Facebook, and there were quite a few people who were excited about Cracker Country.
01:34Never heard of it.
01:35To be honest, have you ever heard of it?
01:36Cracker Country?
01:37Never heard of it.
01:38This sounds so racist.
01:40I've never even heard that.
01:41What is that?
01:43I don't know.
01:44I'm guessing it's some sort of country.
01:46Well, that's the first one on the list then.
01:47Western museum.
01:48We need to check that out.
01:49All right, so 995QIK.com.
01:51This is really cool.
01:52It's September the 21st.
01:55September the 21st.
01:57A lot of museums you're going to get for free.
01:58It's something really, really cool to do with the kids.
02:00Oh, I pulled it up.
02:02It's a rural Florida living history museum.
02:05So it looks like one of those places that's stuck back in time.
02:09It looks like a scary movie would be filmed here.
02:10Oh, I like that.
02:11All these old buildings, you know, where they have the people pretending to churn butter.
02:14Yeah.
02:14That kind of situation.
02:16I love museums.
02:17I don't go to them enough.
02:18When I was a kid, I went all the time.
02:20I loved them.
02:22And Tyler, my oldest son, he watches, what's the name of that show?
02:26Is it like Nighttime at the Museum?
02:29Oh.
02:30Night at the Museum.
02:31Night at the Museum.
02:32With Ben Stiller.
02:32Yeah, it's like the conspiracies, like what happens at the museum afterwards, like they...
02:38The monkeys come alive and everything.
02:40Everything comes alive at Night at the Museum.
02:42It's not really a conspiracy.
02:43It's just fake.
02:44It's actually a true story, Melanie.
02:46It's fake.
02:46No one actually believes.
02:47What I'm saying is it's fake.
02:49Yeah, nothing actually came alive.
02:50The Indians don't actually start running around.
02:53Sorry, Ben Stiller, but you didn't even fool my 12-year-old.
02:56But he does love the show.
02:58So Night at the Museum.
02:59There's a conspiracy theory that it actually happened.
03:01But he loves it, though.
03:02He's like so excited about it, so...
03:04I also love those movies.
03:06They're all...
03:06They're based in the Smithsonian.
03:09Right.
03:09So when you go to them, you're like, oh my gosh, that's the mammoth.
03:12That was alive in the movie.
03:13You know, not really alive, but...
03:15Right.
03:16I don't know.
03:17Did we just ruin it for a bunch of kids who thought maybe...
03:20Because I think maybe that was the whole point, that this could be happening, right?
03:24I feel like we just ruined it for you.
03:25I don't even know if it's the kids.
03:27Well, no.
03:27Here's the funny thing.
03:28I can still carry on my conspiracy theory.
03:30I don't need you guys to buy in, because it's a conspiracy theory.
03:33Okay.
03:33So, the woolly mammoth lives.
03:35And that's...
03:36Yeah, exactly.
03:37Ooh, and that's right.
03:38The woolly mammoth lives.
03:39The woolly mammoth lives.
03:41Hashtag mammoth lives.
