00:13in terms of the centralization of power and in terms of their budgetary ambitions are looking

00:27vetoes in the future so that mere elected governments can be completely ignored sidelined
00:34and run roughshod over and this is going to now extend it seems when it comes to the enlargement
00:40of the European Union to those joining because we know the EU as ever wants to expand and the EU

00:48this plan to strip new member states just remind you those are countries of voting rights up to 15 years
00:57after they join the EU because you saw Hungary and Viktor Orban wield that veto time and time again
01:05the EU clearly don't want vetoes to be allowed the EU wants to take a much harder line to cut

01:13and voting rights for those countries that don't do as the European Union wishes and this is very very
01:21timely at the moment because when you're talking about the expansion of the EU Montenegro one
01:26country they're looking at also you've got Albania Moldova Ukraine so this is clearly something they're
01:33pushing to do sort of short to medium term future and yeah quite unbelievable looking to suspend a new
01:42member's voting rights during the first 15 years of their membership if they don't adhere to the bloc's
01:49values which is a very vague term indeed but yeah please do let me know your thoughts on that EU
