00:00This is my top five football teams after week seven
00:03and heading in to week eight of the National Football League.
00:07Look, I love these Bears.
00:08I think these Bears are absolutely sensational.
00:11I think the job that Ben Johnson has done,
00:13I love the stuff that Kevin Allen has done on the other side too, man.
00:18Dennis Allen has really done a great job as the defensive coordinator
00:21of the Chicago Bears on that side of the football, man.
00:24And they've really got a great dynamic and coaching staff there in Chicago.
00:27Look, I know the Chiefs took it hard.
00:30In this last weekend, they got a loss here.
00:32But I still think the Chiefs, they get that running game
00:34and keep that running game going.
00:36Make no mistake about it.
00:37I think Kansas City is one of your better teams in the AFC,
00:40if not the best team in the AFC.
00:43Look, the 49ers, I know, look, another tough loss.
00:46They were undefeated heading into that game this past weekend.
00:50But look, I'm a big believer in Brock Purdy.
00:52I love what Kyle Shanahan has done.
00:54The big question mark for the 49ers is obviously going to be health.
01:01It's been that way for the last couple years.
01:04Look, I think George Kittle is absolutely the best tight end in all of football right now.
01:09And Purdy finds him.
01:10But McCaffrey is the engine of that team that keeps that thing going.
01:15Look, I don't know how the Minnesota Vikings are undefeated.
01:18They have no offense.
01:20They're one of the worst offensive football teams in all the NFL.
01:25And here they are right now, sitting there at number two,
01:29with the best defensive football team in the NFL.
01:33Brian Flores has done a marvelous job at being the defensive coordinator of that football team.
01:40They really have done a great job.
01:42You know, I got the number one team as the Buffalo Bills.
01:45Look, I know their defense is not where it needs to be.
01:48But, boy, when you got Josh Allen, Josh Allen is without a doubt the absolutely kingpin and linchpin
01:55to this thing right now in the NFL.
01:57They have a great offense right now.
01:59The running attack is great.
02:00And I love what they did in the offseason by elevating Joe Brady and getting rid of Sean McDermott.
02:07Look, I think Sean McDermott's a good coach.
02:09But Joe Brady has really connected now with Josh Allen.
02:13And that looks like the right fit for years to come than Buffalo.
02:16Need to fix up that defense.
02:18But there's my top five.
02:20Also, my MVPs.
02:22Look, kind of the same grouping of teams with the players that have been essential in this start of the
02:29season so far.
02:30Kenneth Walker kind of held that bay this past weekend.
02:33Still, this guy's got 668 yards.
02:36He has absolutely been the reason that the Kansas City Chiefs look like, again, one of the more dominant teams,
02:43as we said, in the AFC.
02:45And when you look at Seattle's ills and their issues that they had when it came to being able to
02:52win ballgames,
02:53I think the inconsistency in that offense has been the fact that they lost Clay Kubiak to the Raiders, but
02:58they also lost Walker.
03:00Speaking of Seattle, is there a better wide receiver in pro football than JSN?
03:06This guy is a game changer.
03:08This guy is a guy that moves the needle anytime they need a big play.
03:13He is, without a doubt, just absolutely the best wide receiver in all of pro football.
03:19Look, Joe Burrow and that Bengals team, in my opinion, really starting to make some noise here.
03:25Look, I love the fact that they added some defensive pieces.
03:30The big question mark is going to be on that offensive line.
03:33I'm going to give you a number here for Joe Burrow over the last five years.
03:37Over the last five years, Joe Burrow, PFF, if you believe in PFF, the average grade for their offensive line
03:45is 28th,
03:47which means the 28th best offensive line.
03:51And Joe Burrow has put up some of the greatest numbers in NFL history.
03:55The question mark is going to be all the moves that they made in the offseason in the defensive line
04:00and also in the offensive line.
04:01Is that going to be enough to propel Cincinnati into a position where they could contend for an AFC?
04:08Burrow and Jamar Chase and all them guys, Tee Higgins, no question about it, man.
04:14Joe Burrow right now is having another fabulous season.
04:17Brock Purdy.
04:18I know it wasn't a great weekend, a horrible interception this past weekend,
04:22but Purdy has put up some of the best numbers so far in San Francisco 49er history.
04:29I had a conversation a couple days ago with Steve Young, and Steve Young was saying he's not really seen
04:36anybody in the NFL that progression reads as well as what Brock Purdy does.
04:42No, it also helps that you have Kyle Shanahan sitting there also and being your play caller.
04:48There's no question about it, man.
04:50Make no mistake.
04:52And number one, look, Josh Allen is the number one guy in all of pro football.
04:57He is just absolutely the best player in the game right now.
05:01Weekend and week out, you see him playing.
05:04Weekend and week out, you see him carrying his football team.
05:08There is no doubt, like we said, the combination between Joe Brady and what you had with the head coach
05:16and being able to connect with the quarterback, it has been a great relationship so far.
05:23Now, the question is going to be whether or not the defensive side of the football is going to be
05:27able to help Josh Allen.
05:28Here's the one thing you got to remember with Allen.
05:31Can Josh Allen win four games in a row?
05:36Can he win possibly three games in a row?
05:39Which means this, folks.
05:41He's got to be Superman each and every single weekend.
05:45He's got to be.
