00:00How about this question here for you?
00:01You think Jalen Hurts is a starting quarterback in Philadelphia in 2027?
00:07Man, it's so tough.
00:08I don't believe in Jalen Hurts as an elite level starting quarterback in the NFL.
00:12Now he's won a Super Bowl.
00:13He's a very good player.
00:14He obviously brings a lot to that locker room.
00:16You cannot deny the guy with his heart and soul and dedication to this football team,
00:21especially with what we saw him playing in London with the issues that they felt
00:24or they had with the clot.
00:25So from a football perspective, I think they would feel good about him leading this team.
00:29But you have to look at the X's and O's here and understand that this guy has not been an
00:33elite passer
00:33in the NFL for the past three seasons.
00:35It's on the tape.
00:36It's all over everything.
00:37And you watch these games.
00:38And I know Eagles fans know that very closely.
00:40So to me, probably not.
00:42I haven't looked at the structure of his contract and what that's going to look like.
00:45But obviously, the first and foremost thing is getting this guy healthy to play football again,
00:50which I'm sure is what the organization's worried about right now.
00:53But then you turn into a question of, well, then where do we go next?
00:57I'm sure, I don't know if you've talked a lot about the draft going into next year.
01:00I know I'm already thinking about it as a Titans fan.
01:02It sucks.
01:03And I'm already mock drafting and stuff.
01:04But the quarterback class next year is not great.
01:06So what are you going to do as an Eagles?
01:08Are you going to bring in another veteran?
01:10You already have a guy who's won you a Super Bowl.
01:12So it's a fascinating question.
01:13Short and sweet for me.
01:14Probably not.
01:15But again, I'm not a huge Jalen Hurts guy.
01:17So yeah, it's a tough time to be an Eagles fan right now.
01:20And unfortunately, last night, like I mentioned, we saw the Cowboys break their spirit.
01:2510 seconds, you're buying the Cowboys.
01:29No.
01:32I mean, I think they got a good win last night.
01:35I think this team has all the pieces.
01:36But we got to see it against some formidable opponents first.
