00:01Bobby do you think that this is good for the upcoming labor talks the labor talks have been
00:05going on actually for the next couple uh last couple of months here and but when you see a
00:11team like this you know we were told hey you got to spend a boatload of money you got to
00:16spend 400
00:17million dollars like the Dodgers or the Mets or the Yankees you got to spend all that money
00:21and here's a baseball team with 144 million dollar payroll and they're going to do something that we
00:27haven't seen since the big red machine sweeping the NLCS and also turning around and then sweeping
00:33the World Series if they're able to close out the Rays and Ford is Milwaukee good for what's going on
00:39with these labor talks it seems like the fix is in huh that the players all got together and said
00:45hey we're going to let the smallest market in the game uh win the World Series and dominate on the
00:51way through uh sweeping the LA Dodgers who have the highest payroll you know it it really puts a
00:59dent into the armor that the owners are wearing uh saying that you know you need competitive balance
01:06and the only way to do it is to have a salary cap um you know if ever it looked
01:12like everyone was
01:14playing uh for the same reason for the same thing it looks like that's what's happening this year and
01:20uh I'm sure it's not but uh it put a dent in the armor of the of the owners and
01:27the collective
01:28bargaining agreement no doubt and plus on the other side you have Tampa Bay so you have two of the
01:34smaller payroll teams in the World Series fighting it out in the most you know prestigious series there
01:41is in baseball here I mean Bobby at the end of the day what's your biggest hang up when it
01:46comes to
01:47the labor talks right now that we're going to start seeing really kick up into high gear here
01:51is it this salary cap and are you a fan of a salary cap well I'm not a fan of
01:58the salary cap I think you
01:59have to um you know run an organization properly and that's what these two uh organization are proving
02:07uh Tampa Bay and Tampa Bay's done it over the long haul somehow they lost their magic the last few
02:14games and and they've had that magic for a long time I can't figure out what's going on uh but
02:19it
02:19could turn quickly also uh it's not complete domination of talent it's just been a complete
02:26domination of the scoreboard um but uh you know that if you have a good organization if it's run well
02:34if you develop well if you have uh the right culture that uh you know you could win ball games
02:41you
02:41could get to the playoffs and and now you can win a world series so um I I think that's
