Andhra Pradesh is grappling with the aftermath of Cyclone Arnaud, which has destroyed agricultural fields and severely impacted farmers across multiple areas. Following an aerial survey of the worst-hit regions, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu confirmed substantial devastation alongside disrupted power networks, including 8,000 fallen electricity poles in Konaseema alone. While noting that the loss of life was restricted to six to eight people, Naidu outlined ongoing restoration efforts on roads and interior links.
