00:00It's time to meet my brother, Robby!
00:05Do you mind getting up?
00:07It's time to meet my older brother, Robby!
00:13Introducing Robby!
00:16Welcome to the video.
00:17Hey there.
00:22If you follow me on Instagram or if you've watched any videos on my personal YouTube channel,
00:26you already know my older brother, Robert James Fink.
00:29Well, you don't really know me.
00:31You might know that he sings.
00:32You might know that he's in a band.
00:33You might know that he's cool.
00:37My name's Robby.
00:38I'm 28 years old.
00:39I live in New York.
00:40I play guitar, piano, sing.
00:43I studied physics in college.
00:45I've worked in a few different industries, most recently in the music and entertainment
00:50and events and media space.
00:52Now I'm going to business school.
00:53All you need to know.
00:54Other thing you need to know?
00:55He's single.
00:57Ding, ding, ding.
00:58Didn't need to know that.
00:59Hit me up.
01:00Hit him up.
01:01Robby, you think?
01:01Oh, another thing about Robby.
01:03He's got great hair.
01:04So you can't really see it because it's kind of gelled back right now.
01:07But can I lift it up and show them the length?
01:08Just like, look at how much hair it goes off screen.
01:12Jenny and John.
01:13Our days are very different.
01:15I would say we live very different lives.
01:17Since I am going to business school in the fall, I quit my job in May.
01:21And so in the past couple months, I've had a very unconventional kind of day-to-day life.
01:25I've been spending a lot of time outside, playing a lot of music, getting ready for school.
01:30So when Lucy was adopting my routine, the first thing we did was we cooked up a nice omelet.
01:34Let's get out our cutting boards.
01:35We don't have a lot of counter space in here too.
01:37It's a tight kitchen.
01:39Good work.
01:41Great, great cracking job.
01:42I think we're getting a lot of shell in here.
01:44It'll cook off, don't worry.
01:45He says the eggshells will cook off.
01:53I'm so hungry.
01:55You eat breakfast so late.
02:03Just make it up, let's see.
02:07Shh, the eggs are cooking.
02:10Why don't you tell them what else happened in the kitchen, Rob?
02:14Oh, we had a spider incident.
02:16You have a spider in your apartment.
02:18Oh my gosh, Rob.
02:21It may have led to, you know, slightly burnt eggs, but it was important.
02:27We were adopting my routine.
02:28You know, we had to do what I would do if I found a spider in the kitchen.
02:32We're going to put your finger there and we're going to lead him on to you.
02:34Oh, no.
02:35Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God.
02:38Oh, this is the hammer.
02:42Robert!
02:42Robert!
02:43He's dangling.
02:43There, we got him.
02:44He's outside.
02:45He's outside.
02:46Safe and sound.
02:47I feel the web on me.
02:48We're a spider-friendly household.
02:50They catch mosquitoes.
02:51Would you rather a spider or would you rather wake up with mosquito bites on your body?
02:54Mosquito bites.
02:55That is large and in charge.
02:57See, that's the beauty of the eggs.
02:58They don't need to look good.
02:59Could you see the pizza?
03:00Yeah, honestly, they don't look good.
03:03Ready?
03:04Yeah, why don't we plate these things?
03:08This is yours.
03:09Here's some good omelette.
03:12Here's some good omelette.
03:14Great work.
03:15I eat my eggs with a lot of hot sauce.
03:18I know Lucy doesn't like to eat as much hot sauce, so of course we had to challenge her
03:22to eat it the way I would eat it.
03:24Keep it coming.
03:26Keep it coming.
03:27Cheers again.
03:28Cheers again.
03:30Let's hope this is cooked.
03:34I feel it back here.
03:35So then, after we cooked up the breakfast and had the spider incident, as I said, I've
03:39been trying to spend as much time outside as possible, given that it is the summer and
03:43I'm not working.
03:44So, first we went up to the roof.
03:46Welcome to the roof.
03:47Wow.
03:48Stay away from the edges.
03:49This is so New York City.
03:51We played some music.
03:52But now I know, she's cute but psycho, cute but psycho.
04:01It's written right on your face, middle of the night at my place.
04:06Screaming how I'm doing you wrong.
04:0949, miss, call.
04:12Pretty green eyes like waterfalls, you only want me now that I'm gone.
04:17Oh, call 911, she's cute but psycho.
04:20And when we were done doing those two things, we did what Robbie has been doing a lot during
04:26the evenings, which is getting ready for business school.
04:30Yes, there's a lot to be done to get ready for school.
04:32There's a lot of surveys to be done, a lot of forms to be sent in.
04:35So, to make things a little more interesting, we poured ourselves two glasses of bourbon on
04:39the rocks.
04:39I know Lucy is not the biggest fan of alcohol, especially hard liquor, straight.
04:44So, hopefully that was interesting.
04:49Cheers.
04:52Eyes.
04:53Bad luck to not look someone in the eyes.
04:54Cheers.
04:56Cheers.
05:01Kinda just like, horrible apple juice.
05:06Like apple juice gotten rancid.
05:08There's a lot of stuff that I need you to get ready for school.
05:10Okay.
05:11So, this is the student website that is supposed to have the organized to-do list and all that
05:22stuff.
05:22There's a dashboard, paying rent anyway.
05:24Okay.
05:28So, you breathe in.
05:30Take a sip.
05:31Don't breathe in again.
05:32And breathe out of your mouth.
05:33Don't use your nose.
05:38That was a lot.
05:39A tongue is salivating.
05:41Okay.
05:41Woo!
05:43I feel-
05:44Is that your first glass of bourbon ever?
05:46Amazing.
05:47That was my first whole glass of bourbon.
05:50And it wasn't good.
05:52But it's all gone.
05:53That was a lot of fun, but it was very different than my daily routine which is a lot of
05:59mindfulness
06:00and a little bit slower paced and includes some elements that he's not all too familiar
06:05with.
06:06We actually met up right here at my apartment the next day and we got started by doing a
06:11mindfulness meditation right here on the bed actually.
06:14Time to meditate.
06:15This is one of my favorite recent meditations.
06:18We're just going to play it.
06:19Sit upright comfortably like shoulders down.
06:22I'm very uncomfortable right now for the record.
06:25You are.
06:26Deep breathing.
06:29Relax.
06:29Try not to laugh.
06:45Today five.
06:47Today.
06:48Today.
06:48I embrace my potential.
06:50I embrace my potential to be, do, and have whatever I can dream.
06:58Namaste.
07:08day. How do you feel? A new man. Refreshed, ready to take on the world. Limitless! Then, after the
07:16meditation, we moved into the living room and it was time for some morning yoga. But before we
07:22started the yoga, one thing I wanted, just really I thought it would be fun to see, is Robbie
07:28burning sage. And it was not a letdown, I'll tell you that much. It's all in the wrist.
07:36Can you feel the energy being cleared? And then we did yoga, which was an interesting
07:41experience for him. He's very much like Michael in that he's not all that limber and doesn't
07:47really bend and flex easily. Yeah, you know, I'm the kind of person who can't reach their
07:52toes. But that being said, I've done yoga before. I've done yoga with you. I like it. I think
07:58it's a good workout. It really gets the blood flowing without needing to move around too
08:02much. And it's harder than you think. I helped him get into some poses. I even walked on his
08:07back. Oh yeah. She cracked my back. I think we got one or two solid cracks. Not the best
08:14crack I've ever had, but a crack nonetheless. You're going to break my spine. Yoga's done.
08:20I don't want to get up. Then we got out the juicer. Let's get some juice. We got a bunch
08:26of vegetables and some fruit. We got apples. We got kale. We got celery. We got cucumber,
08:34lemon, and ginger. One more. Carrot. And a carrot. How could I forget the good old carrot?
08:42Oh, there was one more thing. Are you sure? Romaine lettuce. Lettuce. We got all those
08:47things. We juiced them up and we drank the juice. Cheers. Eye contact. Cheers. It's very
08:55intense. I have to say it was not something I would normally drink, but the combination of
08:59flavors was very different and unexpected, but good. I can't really drink any more of this.
09:04And then the final thing that I had Robbie do was something that I do every night. Usually
09:08I actually do a little bit more extremely than we did it, but I needed to simplify it for
09:13him. So I walked him through my nighttime wash up routine. You do more than that usually?
09:18Yeah. So I'm going to put this robe on. I like to be comfy when I'm washing up. I brought
09:23you your own silk robe. Oh. Great. Look. I always take my hair into like a high ponytail like
09:34this. So I brought you one. Oh wow. Look at that hair. All right. Let's do this. Look. Pull
09:42the hair out of the face. Good job. Great. We look lovely. This is out of control. All right.
09:52It's time to wash our faces. Simple. Your turn. Great. Okay. How does your skin feel right now?
10:05Refreshed. Clean. Stings a little bit. We're going to start with this chlorophyll gel. Just
10:11really rub it in there. Oh my goodness. Now we've got two oils back to back. This first oil is
10:17a deep
10:18pore cleansing oil. It smells really good. Oh God. This is a lot to handle. Okay. The next oil is
10:25a
10:25little thinner and colder, so it feels really nice. You put all this in your face every day? Every
10:30single day. And now this deep, intense hydration moisturizer. This is out of control. It hurts
10:37to be beautiful. Oh. And then we just kind of let this soak in overnight. How did you like
10:43it? It's a little overwhelming. Well, you're glowing. Thank you. All right. That's all.
10:48Am I all rubbed in? Yep. We did it. Good job. You look good. How did you feel doing all
10:53that?
10:53So to be honest, I'm someone who I don't like putting a lot of things on my body, especially
10:59on my face when it comes to creams and lotions and whatever those things were. I'm particularly
11:04sensitive to extreme scents and they sort of bother me a bit. So it was an experience.
11:09So definitely not something I would normally do. But I will say that when all was said and
11:14done, my skin did feel very refreshed, very, you know, rejuvenated. I'm still glowing. Could you tell?
11:21Yeah. So after we finished that, it was the official end of us swapping routines. You guys
11:28know from Try Living With Lucy and all the other routine swapping videos I've done that I love
11:32trying other people's routines because I think routines are a very interesting thing. We all get
11:36so set in our ways and it's a great idea to get out there, shake things up, see how other
11:41people live
11:41life, and maybe try to incorporate some of their daily lives and things that they do into your life.
11:47We'll do it again in the future. We'll have you do my school homework. We'll bring you to
11:52a recording session and we'll smoke a joint. Great! Thanks for watching guys. We'll see you next time. Bye!
