00:04My name is Hannah Min, and my artist-in-residency is called Embrace Your Mistakes.
00:14It came from a drawing class I took in college.
00:18That professor, what he would tell me was not to view an object as the object itself,
00:25but more just like shapes from there, like shapes relating to shapes.
00:31That's how my visual language really grew and took off.
00:38I wouldn't read a person as just like eyes, nose, and mouth,
00:43but, you know, a shape here going into this line, going into the next line.
00:54The philosophy of embracing whatever happens and continuing to go on,
01:01it's shaped how I live my life.
01:04I don't really know what's going to be happening next.
01:10I think it's fun for me to start out a drawing and then see how it goes,
01:16and sometimes I feel like I ruined it.
01:22But once I feel that moment of a drawing being complete,
01:27it's just great to see how it all comes together.
