00:00I'm obsessed with cats.
00:01Me too.
00:02Sometimes I look at my cat and I tear up because I can't believe that she's my cat.
00:07I love that.
00:07Hey guys, it's Mi-Anne and this is Beauty With Me.
00:09This week, I got my makeup done by two YouTube legends.
00:15Sam and Nick Chapman, AKA the Pixie Woos.
00:18I was so excited to have their hands on this face.
00:21It was such a cool experience.
00:23They taught me how to do their go-to nighttime look.
00:26And then I tried to do it myself the following day.
00:34Don't eat that plant. Stop it.
00:36And without further ado, I'll shut up now and let Sam and Nick do the talking.
00:41Shall we get started?
00:42Let's get started.
00:42Take it away, Nick.
00:43Nick is going to do skin and cheeks and I'm going to do the eyes.
00:48No matter what your skin type, you must moisturize.
00:51I'm still using a primer that has a shine to it because I don't want your skin to look matte.
00:56I just want it to stay in place a bit longer.
00:58My favorite is such a brush.
00:59Wait, what?
01:00What?
01:00Yeah.
01:00I know.
01:01It looks different.
01:03It's so pretty.
01:03Yeah, I know.
01:04It's had a facelift.
01:05I am using a By Terry foundation.
01:08It's great because it's got a little shine through it as well.
01:12Nice.
01:13Thank you very much.
01:14Thank you very much, sister.
01:15Chanel.
01:16So, Lady Tan.
01:18Yeah.
01:18My first time using it.
01:20I love this product.
01:21So, I'm just putting this on the high points of the face.
01:24I don't want it to be a contour.
01:25I want it to be, give you just a nice glow like you've been in the sun.
01:29It just kissed your skin.
01:30Nothing more.
01:31Can you just do the neck down there for me?
01:33Of course.
01:33I can't get it.
01:35That's why it's good.
01:36There's two of us and one of us is left-handed.
01:38I am going to use Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze and Glow and start with the bronze.
01:44I'm going to use this Rebel Edge brush.
01:46And this is a new brush.
01:48I've never used this before.
01:49This is a new brush.
01:49This is a Rebel Edge brush.
01:50This came about because we were designing brushes and they brought in a prototype of a
01:58brush that had been, when they made it, it hadn't been fully functioned around and
02:03we were like, I love that.
02:04Can you actually make it like that?
02:06I like to use two highlighters as well.
02:08So that goes on first, just to give you a slightly pinky tone.
02:12Now I know I spend a long time on skin, but there's a reason.
02:15It looks lovely.
02:16Make me look alright.
02:18Your skin looks amazing.
02:20I don't mind saying so myself.
02:23I'm just using what's left on the brush as a base for the eyeshadow.
02:27Because I'm using shimmery eyeshadows, I want a little bit of the cream to really grab hold of.
02:35Always start with the brush where you want the most color payoff.
02:39So we're going to start at the lash line and work our way upwards.
02:42That way we get a natural blend towards the brow.
02:45Now I know you're going to recreate this, so I want to make it a little bit challenging.
02:50That's cool.
02:51What trends do you really want to just like go away?
02:54Or you just don't get them?
02:56I'm so done with liquid lips.
02:57Yeah, I've actually heard a lot of people say that.
02:59What do you hate about them?
03:01I just think that they look really flat.
03:03Yeah.
03:03You know, just really matte, really flat.
03:04I also look like, I just think, lick your lips.
03:07They look so dry.
03:08When you go to do this yourself, I'm using the profile of the brush.
03:12So I'm just putting the product just on the very tip.
03:15Don't overload the brush or you're going to get in a right old mess.
03:18So British.
03:19I love it.
03:21Now we're going to pop some eyeliner on.
03:23Sometimes your sister just makes too much fall down on your makeup.
03:27She's trying to sabotage me.
03:28I'm just going to push this on with my finger.
03:30Just a little bit of gold.
03:33How do you feel about that, sis?
03:34Nice.
03:35Need the approval.
03:36Approval process.
03:37Yeah.
03:37I like doing eyes because I get bored very easily of doing the same thing.
03:41I just, I like all of the colours and all the textures and I'm always mixing things
03:45to find something different and new and exciting.
03:47I think really our blog probably wouldn't have come about without both of our passions
03:51for trying out new things.
03:53Yeah.
03:54We always, you know, we'll try things out on ourselves before we go on a shoot,
03:58just so we have a couple of ideas and then take pictures of it, snaps of it.
04:02Online it goes and that's it.
04:04And then it became this thing that it is.
04:06I just think the beauty industry has stormed and that's a great thing.
04:10You know, I think it's every person's right to understand makeup and how to apply it.
04:14So I do think it's a great thing.
04:16And like I prefer people to learn something and then...
04:19And that's always been what your channel is.
04:21Yeah.
04:21It's always been about that.
04:22It's always been an artistry channel.
04:24Yeah, absolutely.
04:25Right, I want to pop a little bit of this on your brows.
04:27This is just a still a waterproof brow pencil, but I just want to give you a little bit
04:32more browish.
04:33Ultra Rich Lip Colour Tom Ford Revolve Around Me.
04:36Hmm.
04:38Again, keeping it quite soft.
04:41I'm just running a little bit more concealer just down here where it was tidy ups,
04:46tidying up my sloppy work.
04:47This is exactly why we don't set the skin until right at the end because we can still go in,
04:52see where things seem to have worked into the skin where we need more coverage and correct it.
04:57You look really beautiful.
04:59Not that you didn't before, but...
05:00That's it!
05:01Isn't it, Nix?
05:02Are we done?
05:02I just need to blend that.
05:03Oh yeah, you know what we're like.
05:04We could just do this forever.
05:05Oh I know, we could do this forever and your eye makeup would get bigger and bigger and
05:08more fabulous.
05:09Done.
05:11Ta-da!
05:12Can I see it?
05:13Yes!
05:13Yes!
05:15It's so pretty.
05:16My skin looks really good.
05:18Eyes are nuts.
05:20I'm scared.
05:22You'll be fine.
05:23Awesome.
05:24Well, thank you so much for coming here.
05:26I feel so blessed, touched by angels.
05:29And I'll keep you posted.
05:30I'm gonna do this tomorrow, so we will see how it goes.
05:33Bye!
05:34Bye!
05:35Hi!
05:36It's me again and I am back to tell you about how it went when I tried to do this
05:42look on
05:43my own.
05:44So Sam and Nick really broke it down for me because they are amazing individuals.
05:48Not gonna lie, I don't think my look came out quite like theirs did, but I did my best.
05:54I started off with just doing my base, trying my best to mimic the really beautiful glowy
05:59skin that Nick created on me.
06:00I used my own foundations for this.
06:02Really loaded up on the bronzer, keeping it nice and light using a fluffy brush.
06:06That was actually pretty easy.
06:08A little odd that NARS Orgasm was used kind of as a highlighter, but I actually really
06:13liked the look.
06:14It kind of gave this nice kind of pinky glow.
06:16Then came the kind of harder part, the eyes.
06:20Sam did a really cool like smokey kind of goldish halo-y eye on me, which looked so gorgeous.
06:29I'm pretty bad at smokey eyes.
06:32So this is a good little exercise in practice makes perfect.
06:36Don't think I got it perfect, but maybe I'll try again next week.
06:39Sam told me to use a taupe shade all over my lid and then deepening it up with some of
06:43the darker shades in the palette and then following up with a little bit of the gold on my finger,
06:47not a brush, on the center of my lid.
06:50Then I followed up with some eyeliner just to define my eyes a little bit, some mascara.
06:55And then it was time to move on to the rest.
06:59Not going to lie, I'm not sure how well I did on this, but I just kind of called it
07:03a day and went on to my eyebrows.
07:05All three of us have had our eyebrows microbladed before.
07:08So she used this cool eyebrow pen on me from Stila to define my eyebrows.
07:13It's a really cool product because it really sticks on.
07:16And then I moved on to lips.
07:17I don't wear nude lipstick very often, so it was fun to kind of pair the smokey eye that I
07:22don't wear very often with a nude lip,
07:23but I also don't wear very often.
07:24I powdered a little bit using some of my trusty Laura Mercier translucent powder just in the areas that I
07:29need it.
07:30So my T-zone because Nick was like, let's keep the rest of the skin dewy, which is actually kind
07:35of nice
07:35because I usually powder my face like too oblivious.
07:38Definitely a surreal experience for the books.
07:41So that was it.
07:42I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
07:43I hope you guys learned something and I will catch you next time.
07:47Bye!
