00:00Hey guys, it's Mi-Anne and this is Beauty With Me.
00:02I'm coming back at you with another full brand challenge,
00:05this time featuring products from Sephora Collection.
00:10I decided to do an entire week-long routine using only Sephora brand makeup
00:17and then a few skincare items as well.
00:19I went to Sephora, the one near our office down in the financial district,
00:23checked out their entire selection, picked out foundations, concealers, blushes,
00:28cleansing balm, brought it home and tried it out.
00:31The first thing I used obviously was foundation.
00:34This is the Sephora 10 Hour Wear Perfection Foundation
00:37and based off of the name alone, I was expecting a very full coverage foundation.
00:43This is actually the opposite and I prefer that.
00:46It blends in in a second.
00:49I would actually compare it to a slightly higher coverage tinted moisturizer,
00:53which I really like because I wear tinted moisturizers and concealers
00:57pretty much every single day.
00:59Although I will say if you're looking for more coverage, this is not the one for you.
01:02But if you're looking for something lighter, very breathable and long wearing, this guy.
01:08So on top of foundation for a little more coverage and some brightening under the eyes,
01:12I use the Sephora Collection Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer.
01:15I tend to like concealers that are lightweight, that feel very almost skincare-like on the skin.
01:21And I was like, this is probably going to be it.
01:24And I was right.
01:25It blends in like a dream.
01:27It feels like nothing on.
01:29Again, like the foundation though, it doesn't have a huge amount of coverage.
01:33So I blended that all in with this brush.
01:35This is the Pro Flawless Airbrush, which is the brush that I've been hearing about for a very long time.
01:40I've always wanted to try it and I finally did.
01:43It did not disappoint.
01:45It blends in foundation really beautifully.
01:47I love the shape.
01:48It's a really tiny little brush that's good for getting like under the eye or on the nose.
01:52It's great.
01:57So once my foundation was on, I set my work using this Sephora Beauty Amplifier Set Pressed Setting Powder.
02:05I will say that if you take too much of this stuff on the brush, it can give a little
02:10bit of a white cast to your face.
02:12So definitely go in with a light hand with this stuff.
02:14It's not the most long wearing powder.
02:16It definitely sets makeup and keeps your skin matte.
02:19It feels very similar to the Makeup Forever HD Setting Powder.
02:24It has that same very slick silicone-y feel that really like blurs over your pores.
02:29But what makes it unique, I think, is the fact that it does smooth over pores and lines so beautifully.
02:40So next up is blush.
02:42This is the colorful matte blush in the shade So Shy.
02:46It does go on a little sheer, but it is buildable.
02:48So if you are someone that goes in with a heavy hand, you're not going to go too overboard in
02:52your blush, which is nice.
02:53So instead of bronzer, I used a contouring powder and I used this one.
02:57It is the colorful powder in the shade Tranquille.
03:00It is a good shade for contouring because it is this very ashy, kind of shadow-like tone.
03:05This, like the blush, does have sheer coverage.
03:08So it is something that you will have to build up if you want something that's a very defined contour.
03:13But if you want something light, you can just go in with a puffy brush.
03:16Otherwise, you will have to build it.
03:18Next up is highlighter and this stuff is so pretty.
03:24This is the Golden Hour Liquid Highlighter in Sunlight.
03:27This was probably one of my favorite products out of the whole batch of products I tried this week.
03:32It is the gorgeous kind of champagne-y gold and it isn't like ridiculously glittery like some liquid highlighters in
03:41the market.
03:42It has a beautiful shimmer that does catch the light in a really gorgeous way.
03:46Very into it.
03:47It's just so pretty in there right now, obviously.
03:49So that's the base done.
03:50This week I used an eyelid primer from Sephora as well.
03:53This is the Sephora eyeshadow primer.
03:55It is a bit more on the oily liquidy side than other primers I've used,
04:01but it does keep makeup on.
04:02Next up is what I would say this is like in the top two fave products from the week and
04:10it is surprising.
04:12This is the Sephora collaboration with the Museum of Ice Cream,
04:16which is an experiential art kind of museum.
04:20You go in and you're like transported into this world that's literally ice cream themed.
04:25And they surprisingly did a collaboration with Sephora
04:28and they launched a bunch of like ice cream popsicle themed products and this palette is one of them.
04:33I was curious to use it just because, I mean, look at it.
04:37But I'll be honest, I didn't think it was going to be like so amazing that it would blow me
04:41away.
04:42I was pleasantly surprised with the formula on these.
04:45These shadows are really pigmented.
04:47The color selection is really great.
04:49There are some good like neutral tones.
04:51So there's also these fun electric colors like this.
04:54Really intense pink.
04:55I mean, are you seeing this right now?
04:57It's so pigmented.
05:00I did get a little bit of fallout from the glittery shades,
05:03but that honestly happens with a lot of my glitter shadows.
05:06So it's just something that I've learned to deal with.
05:08But overall, 10 out of 10 would recommend.
05:11And this stuff is limited edition.
05:12So it's going to be sold throughout the fall and the winter.
05:15But once the supplies are gone, it's going to be gone.
05:17So if you want this cute little palette, you should definitely grab it while it's still there.
05:22The next product I have is tool related and it's really cool.
05:26This is the Sephora Mini Color Switch by Vera Mona.
05:29You would use a shadow and then if you want to use the same brush and another shadow without like
05:34mixing the pigments,
05:35you would go like this, swirl it around and it takes off the pigment.
05:38And I'm telling you, it works.
05:39You can go into that orange shade in the palette and then apply a pink one,
05:43and it's going to take all that orange off before you get into the pink,
05:46so it's not going to muddle your eye look.
05:47Alright, so moving right along.
05:49I did do a lot of my week's look with just this palette,
05:52but I did also get an eyeliner just in case I wanted to define my eyes even more.
05:56I'm wearing it right now.
05:57This is the Sephora Collection.
05:59It's a twist-up automatic brown eyeliner pencil.
06:03It even comes with a little sharpener at the end and a little smudger.
06:07Good classic brown.
06:09I'm wearing it.
06:09You can wing it out, especially if the tip is sharpened.
06:12It's easy to tightline with it as well.
06:14It doesn't irritate my eyes.
06:16No complaints.
06:17So for mascara, I use the Lashcraft Length and Volume Mascara.
06:21It has a pretty standard brush.
06:24It's just a normal like nylon bristle brush.
06:27It's a bit flatter on one side and then the other side to really like get that detail.
06:32Could be a little bit more volumizing in my opinion,
06:34but I would say it gives you a very nice fluttery lash.
06:38So as the final touch to my makeup look,
06:40I obviously wore lipstick and I grabbed this four-piece set.
06:44This is again from the Museum of Ice Cream collaboration.
06:47It comes with four shades.
06:48There's a red, a pink, a kind of like berry shade, and then an orange.
06:52It's essentially a very evenly pigmented stain,
06:56which was surprising because the packaging on this set doesn't really give you any hints on what it's going to
07:01be.
07:01Like I thought maybe it would be a liquid lipstick or a gloss.
07:04It's neither of those things.
07:05It is, I would say, a stained lip lacquer kind of thing.
07:09It's very pigmented.
07:10It's very even.
07:11It smells amazing.
07:13I don't know, like yummy candy.
07:15The brush has a little reservoir tip that catches just the right amount of product.
07:20Like it comes off really easily with a wipe, with makeup remover.
07:24It doesn't stain your lips for like days after you wear it.
07:26The shades are gorgeous, feels really good.
07:29I think the things that I liked the most out of this entire challenge were these like limited edition ice
07:36cream things.
07:37And really because I was so surprised at how A, beautiful they are,
07:40and that they actually are like really top-notch quality products.
07:44To take it all off, I use this cleansing balm.
07:46So this cleansing balm is a bit on the denser side.
07:49You do have to really warm it up in your fingers for it to turn into a more liquidy oil,
07:53but it does take off makeup really well.
07:55It takes off waterproof makeup really well.
07:57But what I think is the most genius part of this is this.
08:01A lot of beauty brands will sell products like this and the little like spool,
08:05I don't know, what is this called? Skincare spoon?
08:08The little skincare spoon is like supposed to just rest on the top of the product.
08:12I always lose them, throw them away, whatever.
08:15Sephora had the genius idea of putting this little stopper in that is almost like a little plate
08:20that you put your spoon in and then you just put it back up and put it in your shelf.
08:26Boom.
08:29Next up is moisturizer.
08:30I skipped serum just because Sephora Collection actually doesn't have any serum.
08:34That should be next, guys.
08:36So I use this.
08:37This is the Rose Moisturizing Cream.
08:41It's very light.
08:42It kind of looks like yogurt.
08:44Kind of watery, a little goopy.
08:46It's a very light cream that I think actually doesn't give enough moisture for me to use at night.
08:53So I prefer my night creams to be a little bit richer, a little thicker, more emollient.
08:57I will say that the scent is a little overpowering.
09:00It's very rosy and I love rose scents, but this is quite strong.
09:03And that is it, guys.
09:05A week well spent, I'd say.
09:06I thoroughly enjoyed a lot of these products.
09:10Some of them, you know, weren't necessarily for me, but I can see them working for other people.
09:14There was so much other stuff that I didn't get to try and I'm kind of jonesing to go back
09:19and try more.
