00:02Hi, Dr. Lee.
00:03Hi.
00:03How are you?
00:04It's nice to meet you.
00:05It's nice to meet you two.
00:06Welcome.
00:08What are you coming here for?
00:09You look pretty darn good to me.
00:11I actually have a lipoma on my back.
00:14Okay.
00:15And I've had it for about nine years.
00:17All right.
00:17And I was actually a much bigger girl then.
00:20Okay.
00:21You look teeny tiny now.
00:22I'm not teeny tiny, but I've lost 130 pounds in the liter now.
00:26Wow, that's wonderful.
00:27Yes, but the lipoma didn't go away.
00:29Yeah, they usually don't.
00:30I still feel like there's one thing that's on my back.
00:34Yes, I see what you're saying.
00:36You want to get that last thing off your back, you know, literally, right?
00:39I do.
00:39I really do.
00:40Okay.
00:40Well, then let's take a look here and see what you're talking about.
00:43All right.
00:44Oh, I see your little friend here.
00:45Yes.
00:46What kind of work do you do?
00:47I'm a teacher.
00:48I'm a second grade teacher.
00:50Okay.
00:50And I see it's like kind of in the middle upper back so I can see what you mean.
00:53It is.
00:53In fact, I had a child ask me if I was a hunchback once.
00:56It's like, no, I just have a lump on my back.
01:00So.
01:00Oh, man.
01:01Do you mind if I lift your shirt up and take a look at it?
01:03No, go ahead.
01:04It's like you have an upside down heart.
01:06It is.
01:07Or a butt cheek.
01:08Yeah.
01:09Actually, yeah, you're right.
01:10It could be a butt cheek too.
01:13What I really like about Barbara is her fun personality.
01:16She really likes to joke a lot.
01:18But I can tell that this lipoma really does bother her deep down inside.
01:22Interestingly, lipomas don't change size according to weight gain or weight loss.
01:27They really are independent of your weight.
01:29So it can be frustrating when somebody loses a lot of weight and they see that their lipomas
01:34stay the same size.
01:35You know, I'm a little concerned about this lipoma because of its unique shape.
01:39It's sort of like this upside down heart.
01:42And it's right in the center of her spine.
01:43It's quite large.
01:45Why is it this shape?
01:46Is it trying to turn a corner and avoid some structure?
01:49Even if you can't be certain, you shouldn't take this smaller structure!
01:49Let's see you every timeilen't you need to make things easier.
01:51So let's important here.
01:51But I often know where it begins.
01:52Now once you can look like and I can pick it up on a nicecl SUPER my eye or the
01:52left plate
01:52Ew, I'm going to
01:52It's maybe facing it in the centerечkins motion.
01:53After arriving for before during thisナaring clacion.
01:53You know, remember, it's when this can be a cardinal camera to change the
01:53one there.
01:53You use some sort of fun cause.
01:53That's very tough too.
01:53You
