00:05welcome everyone to the nba on 2k sports kevin harland here alongside craig anthony
00:11and richard jefferson and our reporter tonight on the sideline is ali laporte
00:17here we are in november let's see how things are shaking out in the west early in the season
00:21you take a look at the warriors they reside in the seventh slot right now the early part
00:26of the season and i think for the warriors they're one of those teams that hasn't quite figured it out
00:32this year a lot of talent a lot of heart but nothing to put them up on that next level
00:38and
00:39you have to wonder if this roster can get to that next level they have talent but if it doesn't
00:44come
00:45together they might have to shake it up now the starting group for the visitors ace bailey is
00:50out there with porter then there's smart then there's paul reid and it's motkovich in at the
00:56fourth and for the warriors horford is out there with porzingis then there's stefan kirk then there's
01:02will richard and it's butler in at the small forward greg with so much of the season still
01:08ahead of us what are some things you're looking forward to this year so i always like to see which
01:13player or team is going to take the next step and with some of the changes made in the offseason
01:20it'll be interesting to see who becomes that unexpected competitor a nice shot by reid taking
01:27it up strong here early on yeah right to the rack but there's the rim protection at the elbow horford
01:35the putback it's good on the putback a high iq play from a high iq player butler the second chance
01:44opportunity there and it's the warriors on the break plays it up and banks it in every team looking
01:54going to get easy ones in transition and making sure they convert by finishing strong porter passes
01:59to reid and the chunk by reid the warriors have gone three of four from the field to start off
02:12the
02:12game horford and the chunk by horford bringing the heat horford goes for the rim with real intensity
02:23hurry against porter 13 feet away and the shot is long the shot's there for him and he's got to
02:30take
02:30it i don't care if he doesn't convert that's a shot he has to continue to take now smart after
02:38the
02:38miss three from stephan curry smart finds porter good and smart gets the assist
02:47we're just about two minutes into the first quarter only two point guards in nba history
02:52of one defensive player of the year award gary payton and marcus smart and just six guards total
02:58have won the award so it's a pretty unique honor for smart to get it in 2022 just shows you
03:05how
03:05impressive curry's shooting ability is that he can adjust for any distance here's bailey he hits
03:12the back iron and sinks the shot out to a hot start four makes and five shots to begin this
03:17ball game
03:22horford against reid and he uses the glass on the lane horford's got his second bucket of the game to
03:27go
03:27a remarkable interior presence horford's a veteran who still has those polished post moves
03:35nice shot nice smart yeah going hard to the rack making a statement here early on yeah it's nice to
03:43see him be assertive instead of settling for a jump shot especially in the first quarter curry can't get
03:49it to go gone five and six so far from the field to start out the game a little and
03:55he banks in the layup
03:59just under three and a half minutes gone here in the first quarter
04:03here's richard porzingis that's a two and that's his first field goal now one for one
04:10porzingis breaking tendencies with that catch and shoot here is porter against indiana he was really
04:17on his game and he drops in the way up off the glass and they're looking his way and he
04:23is answering
04:24the call once he gets firing on all the cylinders it opens up things for everyone
04:29a real pro just realizing when to pull up against the amazing concentration there on the wing
04:38here's motkovich nothing on the board reid misses just enough resistance to force the miss barely
04:47that's one he'll generally make a shot by curry no good gone seven nine from the field a really nice
04:56strike offensively for them here's bailey from outside off the mark warriors leading by four
05:07outside butler here's curry with the three sinks the triple curry's got eight points you do it better
05:14than curry the range of his shooting is practically in the league of its own
05:20porter gets to smart pass to bailey and here's porter shoots over curry hits the front of the rim
05:29and out and he's very confident from that range but you can't make them off
05:36fires away from outside and it's reed pulling it out
05:43here's motkovich to the middle and yes sir that goes and he's two for two
05:52last outing for golden state they won that game against the cavaliers
05:58here's curry and another basket for golden state
06:02has he put his foot on the pedal here this quarter he's doing a terrific job
06:08in terms of leading their offense
06:26and now let's turn to the 2k leaderboard for a look at the squads that have the most points in
06:30transition over the past 10 games i mean no doubt for me that they they've hit
06:35their stride the last few weeks i mean they are punishing the defenses with that up-tempo stop
06:43pass to bailey back to porter
06:50and the rebound goes to the warriors coming into this having notched a win
06:54against cleveland in their last game
06:56and offensively they were a well-loved machine
06:59playing at a high level on the road like that impressive performance to say the least
07:05got eight of the 13 shots to find the bottom of the bucket
07:08probe steve kerr rj returning to the warriors on a two-year contract for an encore one
07:14yeah it's what the veterans wanted running it back the continuity the familiarity the championship
07:21pedigree it made it a no-brainer to keep going and now let's send it over to our courtside reporter
07:27ali la force hey stephen curry is still playing to win he said every moment i have out there matters
07:33i just want to play relevant meaningful games it doesn't mean that you're making the finals every
07:38year it doesn't mean that you're guaranteed to win it's just that rush of we can make this happen
07:43kevin back to you every win counts for something all right allen we thank you very much and that's
07:49out of bounds golden state will retain possession a moment here to see the numbers for quarter and
07:55also his pupil percentage is up in the top five tremendously efficient at finishing plays at the
08:02basket and what he's doing right now carving up defensive schemes at will second best score in the
08:07league it's just a marvelous thing to watch and appreciate catching up on the changes for golden state
08:12corzingis is coming in for charles cashew and it's williams in for stephen curry and some stats
08:18here guys the scoring breakdown for the warden they've really been dialed in from deep this is
08:24a team that has a ton of confidence in their outside shooting ability and also guys they're out
08:29muscling their opponent the points in the paint are piling up because of that aggressiveness
08:38and williams drops them both 106 left in the first quarter
08:47quarter against williams in low pass to bailey
08:52she was over pochinski and bailey gets it to go on the assist from reed
08:58bailey's got his third bucket of the night warriors leading by eight
09:04now pochinski
09:07green by porzingis lets it go from deep off the mark his first miss of the game one for two
09:15now bailey he's defended by pochinski the shot's good
09:21not 30 seconds left in the first
09:28williams looking around out to porzingis nails the wide open jump shot
09:34porzingis has got his second bucket of the night porzingis has gotten two of his three shots to go to
09:40pass to miller
09:45outside porter
09:49one second left
09:52a free-flowing first quarter great scoring through one
09:55warriors ahead they lead by eight and the second quarter will be on the way when we come back
10:25and if you're just joining us we've played through one quarter in this one and the warriors guys
10:30what jumps out to you in this game uh stance one what a start for them from behind the arc
10:35hitting those threes that'll space out the floor and open things up
10:44being a tremendous 61 percent from the floor hitting in all cylinders so with curry sitting on the bench
10:50here's the group that steve kerr has on the floor we've got brandon pochinski he's out there with
10:57brandon william moody is out there with porzingis and it's santos and at the four slot now here's moody
11:05scoreless thus far that savvy little up fake there cool in the d
11:10porzingis has got the lead up to 10 now for the warriors
11:15thompson in the corner miller outside from the arc warriors with the rebound
11:24inside here's santos rebound by marshall gone over two from deeper in the center richard we know
11:32returning from a torn patellar tendon is tricky at best very hard so it's great to see moses moody
11:39back in action yeah really coming into his own before that injury he's working relentlessly to get
11:45back and better than ever first free throw is good and defensively rj a decade ago the lead wide
11:52press rate was one percent it's gone up a little bit it's now at five percent and some teams are
11:59applying
12:00pressure 25 percent of their defensive possessions often using quicker substitution patterns to sustain
12:06that level of effort here's pochinski a look at his stats he averages a bit over eight points a game
12:14here in the second quarter with a little over a minute gone
12:19pass to marshall
12:25shoots and it's bona missing and i can't imagine that's the shot they wanted to take valuing each
12:32possession we'll talk about it quite a bit coach emsky and again it's the warriors missing
12:40on 0-3 and they're still looking for that first bucket here in the second quarter
12:47melton against williams that one's in there the warrior lead is cut down to six and the bucket from
12:53melton and so steve kerr decides to call a timeout coach is going to take a few minutes to regroup
12:59and go over the strategy
13:04here we are in november and let's see how things are going out east in the early season
13:09taking a look here at the visitors there's six best right now looking to make a move up in the
13:13standings
13:19danis williams with the ball for golden state they've led by as much as 10. they
13:24owes the clippers after this game that'll be the latter half of this two-game home stand
13:29they've gotten only one of their first four shots in the second quarter to drop
13:32that's to bona shoots it up can't nail the jump warriors leading by six
13:41here's pochemski and contact down the shot so he'll be shooting free throws here
13:47the warriors shooting their third and fourth free throw shots of the night
13:54and the first one at the line is good steven curry he's checked in for golden state
14:09pochemski hits them both
14:13gone oh or two from deep here in the south
14:16here's porter makes it off the glass porter's got six points
14:22and here in the second quarter of action with a hair under two and a half minutes played so far
14:30here's santos no scoring in this one from past the arc curry making it look so easy
14:39this is what curry does best he's so creative at getting into rhythm and staying up
14:45pass to marshall
14:48here's bona shot's good marshall making the play
14:55warriors leading by seven
14:59outside brzingis and the dunk bite brzingis now look when brzingis has it there but there's not
15:05much you can do defense on three of seven shooting the ball here in the second quarter
15:14right side smart but her outside that's good and it's his fourth basket of the game he's a strong four
15:20four for six and here in the second quarter that jim as we approach four minutes played
15:27outside brzingis
15:30back to curry or zingis fights curry and he floats in for the easy two credit the assist on that
15:36one
15:37timeout shooting wise he's been fantastic helping to build this lead
15:48will richard comes in for moses moody and how about the numbers here three he's averaging 11 points a
15:55game over two and a half blocks and seven rebounds and i'm not sure he can play any better than
16:02he has
16:02i mean surprising a lot of people with this play here of late absolutely and now the question is can
16:08he build from this or will he regress back to the mean we'll have to see now here is reed
16:15he provides
16:16a good amount of offense for the team averaging around 11 and a half points a game how do you
16:21stop
16:21a good fadeaway jumper yeah that's a trick question you know here's podjemski mark is smart picking up
16:27that last basket and a deep three from curry rebound by marshall gone one of three from way outside
16:38since the start of the second quarter here's reed that fall great assist by marshall marshall's got
16:45three assists in the game warriors leading by four down low richard with the bucket one of the most
16:56unselfish superstars out there curry is always looking to make his teammates better
17:02out to the right wing here's marshall and horford pulls it down four years have gotten exactly half
17:11their shots to go down here in the second five of ten back to curry
17:17over quarter again curry missing you know they don't score on that shot but they're going to be happy
17:24with those kinds of possessions marshall gets the bucket as he's gotten older we've seen kpj become
17:31a willing passer the warriors shooting it up around 45 percent from the field in the second quarter
17:38it's very outside rebound by marshall
17:44gotten seven of their 12 field goal attempts to drop here in the second quarter up over 50 percent here's
17:50quarter that's another one for him his fifth in just seven shots and so speed curve decides to call
17:57a timeout coach needs a moment to talk things over
18:09butler's checked in
18:11now let's take a look at some of the numbers for ace bailey in the last five games you can
18:16see the
18:17trend upwards for effective field goal percentage and it shows you how confident he's playing
18:23right now now here's curry he's got 15
18:31outside butler beyond the arc that shot is off target that makes him two for three
18:37to the paint and it goes out of bounds that one off butler
18:43on sunday they'll take on tion williamson and the new orleans pelicans then on monday they'll take on
18:51demontis sabonis and the sacramento king and that game against the hawks this is one where it would take
18:59a complete meltdown for them not to come away with the rules anything can happen but i'd be
19:05shocked if they don't come out on top well i'll tell you what he's going to buy himself a ticket
19:10to the bench if he keeps shooting it like that he has been putrid here this quarter here's smart
19:17and they're unable to get the time basket there
19:21curry kicks to richard
19:26horford in the post quarters there
19:31the kick outside to butler it's three outside that shot is in just like six others have been
19:37for he's shooting seven for 15. and that makes it two three quarters in the quarter so far at four
19:44for the game throughout jimmy butler's career richard it's become clear that big moments do
19:49not face him at all oh he's just one of those guys when the pressure is at its highest all
19:56his best
19:56qualities come to surface wow here's curry 18 points for him and it's good two points he's looked
20:04practically unstoppable this quarter the defense yeah well they haven't had many answers for him and that
20:10one's good one's good by porter warriors leading by three
20:17and a deep three from curry and the warriors another three he's been right out from beyond the
20:24argument i keep letting fly his teammates knowing he has a hot hand are seeking him out right now
20:31and that one drops for him smart's got four this sport hall we've got 28 seconds left in the second
20:38quarter
20:41no one near curry as he lets it go a three-pointer no good
20:49down low
20:51here's porter the 17-footer goes down
20:55now just a two-point warrior lead shooting wild in rhythm porter jr has an impressive understanding
21:02for when to let that thing fly it's been all about stephen curry for the warriors
21:08put together quite a quarter 13 points in all and he looks to be planning for more and let's hear
21:14from
21:15ally la force who joins us from the sidelines ally thank you well coach kurt what did you like about
21:20the way your guys have started this game off well i like the way we defended without fouling so we
21:26could get our flow and guys just came in and made some big ones and our offense got going
21:32the defense was disciplined thanks coach ally thank you for that interview and now we're at halftime
21:39and we'll be back to bring you more basketball after this welcome to the kia halftime report
21:49howdy folks i know you've all been clamoring to find out how the rookie of the year race is looking
21:55and we are not letting you down most players don't come into the league as polished scorers
22:02but darius acup has an innate understanding of how to get to where he wants to get his points defenses
22:09are game planning for him already ernie shades of the jet in terms of being the total package
22:15at least that's what kenny tells me
22:19and now revisiting that first half for steph curry he was lights out he's been good but their defense
22:28man you got to look at their intensity and their disruption and if that continues he'll just keep
22:33running over them only way to stop him when he's on a roll force the ball out of his hands
22:37deny bring
22:38two whatever you got to do
22:44and that's a halftime wrap let's get back to the second half with the call by kevin harlan and
22:48the crew
23:01second half of basketball upon us we may be in for an exciting finish based on how close of a
23:06game
23:06it's been so far really an incredible game from stephen kirk he's had his way so far putting the team
23:14on his back offensively and i expect him to keep the pedal to the floor here in the second half
23:20as well
23:34and we've got second half action for you thus far a pretty evenly contested game
23:40we've got reed porter is out there with baylor then there's smart and it's motkovich in at the four
23:46man position nice shot by smart one of the positive traits about marcus smart is that he's not too
23:52worried about finding his own shots but he knows how to add points on the board when you need them
24:00the kick outside to butler and it goes how to bounce that one off butler and a quick look now
24:07at the nba
24:07scoring leaders we'll take a look at porter second in the league having an excellent season and his
24:13contribution to his team offensively cannot be understated he is always leading the way for them
24:20with his ability to put up points now let's take a minute to talk to andley lapore's court shot
24:26allie thanks a lot the warriors are closing out a dynastic run coach steve kerr said we're hanging
24:32on to the idea that we still have something left in the tank obviously we know rings culture the focus
24:38is on who won but there is something beautiful in the fight in the quest because we love what we
24:43do
24:43back to you looking to stay in the mix allie as always we appreciate your reporting here's
24:50glory with the three not kibitz with the rebound go on one of three since starting the second half
24:59for the lead and he didn't get quite enough under that one
25:03left start to the second half of them only getting one of the past four shots to fall
25:11the 11 footer here's horford and there's the buckets they look at on the offensive glass getting
25:17it done horford's got six finally they get one to drop that's one of their first four here in the
25:24third here's bailey and the rebound goes to the warriors putler's got his fourth rebound with that
25:31last point here tonight out of half time not the way you want to execute just one of five from
25:36the field
25:36to the wing right side bailey finds smart now here is reed guarded by horford and the call will
25:43be against al horford that's his first foul first team
25:54two minutes gone in this third quarter now
25:58as a defender for zingas has all the size he needs to intimidate shooters
26:03here's butler and it's off the back rim no good thing has been just great so far up at 56
26:10percent to the middle from eight and bailey puts it in he's got 12. bad matchup for the defense no
26:19doubt about it doesn't have the height to influence the shot there never mind blocking
26:25and so steve kerr decides to call a timeout he's going to have a discussion on the sideline
26:31and so many adjustments are made in game on the fly it's hard to explain to fans just how much
26:37goes
26:39and sometimes one small tweak can make all the difference coaches are always looking for any edge
26:45they can get
27:01here's persingas and the warriors miss again gone to a seven for the field in the third that leaves room
27:09for improvements
27:12here's a very from deep three-point lane modkiewicz with the rebound modkiewicz has got six rebounds in the game
27:20outside porter for the lead nice tee from porzingis
27:29butler kicks to richard
27:33orford in the post bailey defending that's good from horford on the assist by curry curry's got three assists now
27:40in this one
27:41so here we are richard looking at steph curry no question he has a basketball super
27:47ball oh the greatest shooter who has ever lived it's not even a matter of debate at this point he's
27:54that single
27:57outside horford
28:00back to curry
28:02and the ball goes out of bounds last touched by horford and with a break here let's look at the
28:07stats
28:08for jimmy butler and tremendous confidence and consistency at the foul line he ranks among the top 15
28:14and free throw percentage and back to your point he's second and three-point accuracy a lot of that has
28:19to do with mental toughness
28:21it's just hard to force him out of his comfort zone
28:25it's a neck-and-neck game in san francisco
28:28porter can't get that one to fall the shooting numbers just aren't there yet in the court over in the
28:35quarter for zingas
28:37rebounded by bailey
28:38getting an outstanding 53 for the game
28:44quarter kicks to smart for the lead and the rebound goes to the warriors
28:51a three-ball
28:53richard with the bucket
28:55got his third basket of the night
28:57just reliable guys he's just always trying to make the right play and porter here we go
29:04it's good that's eight baskets for him now eight for 15 shooting
29:08and we know kevin porter jr is capable of having big nights and the way he's playing this could be
29:15one
29:15back to curry
29:16quarter with a clock
29:21here's bailey
29:23al horford with the rebound
29:26horford's got rebound number nine now what an effort here tonight
29:31there's curry no good on that one and to put it simply this just hasn't been for sport and forcing
29:39things will only make it worse he's gotta let the game come to
29:47wow magical moves inside from steph curry and not his quarter scoring wise just one of seven
29:55him from the field
30:04for the warriors santos is checked in and it's moses moody in for but
30:18so it's the visitors now it's a five-point game
30:23pastor smart from 20 feet out and he nails the jumper and 12 points for marcus smart just such a
30:31quick release there by marcus smart you love to see that just catch touch and the slam by moody
30:38the dean just kind of stepping aside and letting him get to the rim there's a reason ga the lead
30:44is
30:44what it is right now and you see why they're behind that's just lackluster after coming
30:53warriors leading by three
30:57outside brzingis
31:06modkiewicz with the rebound modkiewicz has got his solid rebound here tonight and imagine how good
31:26nba is making threes space in the court and that's exactly what they are doing tonight and you can't
31:33ignore their passing all game long they've done a great job of just delivering the ball in rhythm
31:38right where it needs to be williams he's checked in for golden state both shots good from the strike
31:47146 left in the third
31:50pass to pajemski
31:54now here's brzingis
32:00and the layup stood off the glass
32:03but jemski's got seven he's a willing passer brzingis won't force his own thing very often
32:09reed puts the move on
32:11that falls great assist by marshall
32:14just a textbook lead pass right there putting it right where it needed to be
32:20santos no good
32:2335 percent or so in the third quarter whatever they're trying is not working over to the wing
32:30here's paylee from out on the wing he knocks it down
32:34he's got 14 and that's a spot on the floor bailey can really make his own especially at that side
32:47he took it right to the rack and there's no one that can stop him
32:54smart passes to read and moody pulls it down
33:00golden state's gone one of four and three point shots here in the third there's the drive yep that
33:05one goes moody's got four this quarter we've got 28 seconds left in the third quarter
33:12pass to modkiewicz
33:15warriors with the rebound they've led by as much as 10.
33:24here's brzemski
33:25haley defending brzemski's shot is good i like the intention the focus finding a way to make it work
33:33inside back to marshall you're smart
33:41this is what every team tries to do get points out of that last possession
33:46of the quarter oh that's a tremendous play now that that's a momentum building and the game still
33:54closely contested as we end the third quarter warriors lead by three it's the nba on 2k sports from san
34:02francisco
34:07and let's take now this moment to bring up our state farm assist of the game obviously a tremendous
34:14pass on time on point one of my favorite plays of the night yeah when it's done right it's a
34:21beautiful
34:22game we've reached the fourth quarter and what has been a very competitive game should be an exciting
34:29finish so with butler sitting on the bench here's the group that steve kerr has on the floor
34:34you've got moody but jensky out there with brendon williams and there's persingas and it's
34:40santos in the power forward and here's miller outside they get a bet melton off on the layup warriors
34:50leading by three there's williams he doesn't hit that one good d by miller being 52 for the four
35:00nice work so far from them three marshall has shot off that time marshall's gone two to five shooting
35:10forty percent from the field inside for zingas the layup missed gotten off to an 0 for two start from
35:19downtown here in the fourth quarter miller finds melton over moody that one a little long i guess we've
35:26read the defense for that one going right they did everything they could to influence the shot and
35:31the warriors miss again gotten off to a rough start in the fourth quarter going 0 for four so far
35:38and
35:38finally someone scores it's a slugfest maybe not the prettiest game we've seen but sometimes the best
35:45wins are the ugly ones and we've got a timeout called by steve kerr he's very aware of the timing
35:51here
35:52and the significance of getting things squared away with his team
36:04linden boards checked in for moody and stephen curry subbed in for williams it's time to send it
36:10over now to our reporter ali la force i was able to listen in on what steve kerr had to
36:15say to the team
36:15he was very passionately telling his team don't give them an inch when they have the ball this game
36:21is going to come down to defense i need you guys to work hard and close this one out guys
36:26and now we
36:26thanks so much gone one of five from the field here in the fourth a lot of misses just the
36:31one made
36:33here's melton shot from the low block will not go this is off the front iron
36:42and we're around two minutes into the fourth quarter here the wide open up here for perzingis
36:49oh good on the three and he might have thrown himself off and he saw how much space he had
36:54from three
36:54and that one's good miller and you love to see the pushing transition don't let the defense set up yeah
37:02there's no substitution for hustle outworking the opposition here's curry and that will be golden
37:09state as it goes out of bounds warriors retain possession a sensational block that definitely
37:15deserves another look and boy did he get up quick to reject that shot that's as fundamental as defense gets
37:28just a little under two and a half minutes of pass now here in the fourth pass to lindenborg
37:35takes the three the way he started this game he wondered if he'd ever cool down and the answer is
37:41yes
37:43read the pass to miller and it's miller with the jam
37:51the warriors trail
37:56here's putzemski and again it's the warriors missing
38:04oh he misses the dunk and priority number one has got to be the finish guys not the fancy stuff
38:11and they pick up two curry's got 29 in the game and how about when curry gets fancy with it
38:17his confidence is what allows him to pull off these moves
38:24will which is check in for lindenborg
38:35gotten only three of their nine field goal attempts to go down since the end of the third pretty cold
38:39down the stretch
38:43elton finds porter puts it up at that time from curry
38:49golden state's gotten off an over two start from downtown here in the fourth quarter
38:54i'm trying to think of the last time i saw him miss a shot like that it's it's been a
38:58while
38:59porter dishes to read releases and the rebound goes to the warriors
39:07persingas has got six rebounds now in the game count that one and the warriors lead by three
39:15being in this fourth quarter pretty dire at 27 percent
39:19yes to marshall
39:22in low
39:24the warriors pull it in
39:26persingas has got his seventh rebound here tonight
39:34some nice passing by golden stadium here's curry the top of the key jumper is on the mark
39:40curry's got six points in the quarter efficiency has been the hallmark right now down the stretch
39:46he is making the most of his opportunity taking it up strong against size he does not lack for confidence
39:54really putting the bigger defender on his heels i love seeing aggressive finishes like that
40:02perzingis feeling it out of there curry kicks to perzingis
40:08rebound by marshall marshall's got rebound number five here tonight
40:23big time move inside they get exactly the matchup they want inside and it gives them the biggest
40:29bucket of the game golden state's gotten off to an over two start from downtown here in the fourth quarter
40:35and so steve kerr calls for the timeout he's clearly intent on wanting to lock in and make sure
40:42everyone's on the same page
40:44the goal of the boys are getting through now hofford has checked in for golden state butler
40:49comes in for brandon podziemski
41:07curry fires does not go
41:12well fifty percent for the four
41:16and that won't go missing the go ahead here we go
41:36and he sinks the second well i mean
41:50a semi-productive trip to the free throw line but we'll see whether or not it costs it
41:57to tie it up
41:59that one is off okay he's trying in fact maybe a little too hard
42:04but yeah obviously he wants to contribute but this isn't the best way to do it
42:17and you can see the leadership there that butler possesses commanding the rock on important
42:25possessions here
42:26another chance here
42:31portford pulls it down warriors leading by four
42:36Now Curry
42:38Goes up to three
42:40Haley pulls it down
42:42You know what?
42:43He's got to look to get other guys involved
42:45The three point stroke is up
42:50And the shot goes in
42:53Aggressive approach
42:54He was up for the moment
42:55And the more it matters
42:57The better look you will
42:58Mission accomplished right there
43:01Curry
43:01And he banks the way up in
43:04Fearless
43:05Curry takes him on the challenge
43:07And gets that big basket
43:09To fall
43:11Here's Smart
43:12He's on the left
43:13A three pointer
43:15Good
43:15He's played in so many big games
43:18In his career
43:19Marcus Smart is locked in
43:21For that big moment
43:25Porter against Kirk
43:27Strong move off the ground
43:29And he took a lot of guys
43:31With so much belief in himself
43:34Taking things into his hands
43:36You love to see it
43:37Quarter on shot
43:47Not gonna go
43:48Nothing is going his way
43:50In this half offensively
43:52Really having a hard time
43:53Finding his shot
43:54Curry
43:55All off the glass
43:57How many times have we seen this?
43:59His team needs a bucket
44:01And Steph does
44:02What Steph does
44:03And for them
44:05It's time to step up
44:06Obviously critical
44:07To come away with points here
44:09Oh once again
44:10Marcus Smart
44:11Rises to the occasion
44:13And delivers
44:16And he commits the intentional foul
44:19Second
44:26Guys they're holding on
44:28To the slimest of leads
44:29Yeah
44:30And you can't afford
44:31To let that thing get any slimmer
44:33Third team
44:38So the first one drops
44:39And that makes it a three point lead
44:46So it gets them both
44:47And it's a four point ball game
44:49And he steps up
44:50And knocks them down
44:51Making it a two possession game
44:55What do you think coach's focus
44:56Is going to be here?
44:58Trying to keep their hopes alive
44:59They need a quick one
45:01And they've got to play the foul game
45:03Hoping for some missed free throws
45:15Misses the three
45:16And there's the intentional foul
45:18No choice but to stop the clock here
45:28Good on the first
45:30And that puts them up by five
45:40So he goes two for two at the lock
45:42It's a six point ball game
45:44James Frito's there
45:45It's a bad lead
45:46Trying to close that door
45:48Any ideas on strategy
45:50Being discussed right now
45:52In that huddle
45:53And no matter what they call
45:55They must score quickly
45:56You are truly desperate
45:58Everything has to go right
46:11Ace Bailey
46:12Green
46:14Good
46:14There's no question
46:16Bailey can support from anywhere
46:18The defense cannot allow this guy
46:20To run free
46:21They're going to prolong the game here
46:23With an intentional foul
46:24Good team
46:26After line
46:27Still going on
46:28It is
46:29Bill Ricker
46:30Two shots
46:34The free throw is good
46:36And that gives them
46:37A four point cushion
46:40And so he drops them both
46:42It's a five point game
46:44And you can wrap this one up
46:46Great job to stay cool at the line
46:48And finish it off
46:49Porter
46:51Berries the deep ball
46:52And he's picked up right
46:54Where he left off
46:55From that last stop
46:56And getting the test
46:58Every time up the floor
46:59Until he shows signs
47:01After the lock
47:02He was in the back
47:04At the line for two
47:05Jimmy Butler
47:07And no good
47:08Is the first free throw
47:09Missing for him
47:10We'll see if he can nail the second
47:14And he ends up
47:15Making the second
47:16And that makes it a three point lead
47:18A dribble with tile
47:20Let's see
47:20What they run
47:21Let's see if they can create
47:23An open look
47:24His performance today
47:26Has just been so important
47:28What a luxury to have a guy
47:30That's that dependent
47:31And so Steve Kerr
47:33Calls for the timeout
47:34Pivotal moment in this game
47:36He's not taking any chances
47:38He'll call time
47:54Porzingis
47:55And that's going to do it
47:57For regulation
47:57So we are headed to overtime
47:59It's the NBA on QK Sports
48:02From San Francisco
48:32Let's go
49:00And now we get sent for overtime
49:02In what has been
49:03A stirring contest
49:15Now there's Curry
49:16Porter is out there
49:17With Bailey
49:18Then there's Paul Reed
49:20Then it's Marcus Smart
49:21And it's Maktowicz
49:23In at the four
49:23It's cool
49:24This is what the fans want to see
49:27From Kristoff
49:28The seven footer
49:29Knocking down threes
49:31Smart outside
49:35Reed against Horford
49:37Now Porter
49:3916 footer
49:40Drops in
49:41And you can expect him to make it
49:43When the D is trash like that
49:48The Warriors
49:49The Warriors leading
49:52Outside Horford
49:57Curry outside
49:59From outside
50:00Paitley pulls it down
50:03Gone past the three point line
50:05For 13 of their shots
50:066 of 13
50:07To take the lead
50:09No good there
50:11And so it's Butler with it
50:13They'll bring it up
50:14For the Warriors
50:15They've led by as much as 10
50:19Smart outside
50:23Know what that time
50:24And a shot
50:25That would have put him on top
50:26Oh it hurts
50:29Butler making it happen inside
50:31Not many guys with Butler's field
50:34Have his skill set
50:35Inside
50:39Here's Bailey
50:40Let's it go
50:41And he misses the J
50:43Oh that's a missed opportunity
50:45From the mid range
50:46He can hit that
50:47Butler
50:49Finishes inside
50:50On the nice dish
50:51Well check out
50:53That assist
50:54That's a pair of teammates
50:55That are clearly on the same page
50:57Wow
50:59Two down
51:00Two down
51:01Here's my pick
51:02Oh
51:02Passed it by Brzingis
51:03Look it
51:10Nice team
51:17Great job
51:18To get the bucket
51:19And
51:19To get to the line
51:20When the game's on the line
51:22You want your guys attacking
51:23Like he did there
51:27Burring fires
51:29The long shot
51:30No good
51:32Gone 2 of 5 on shot attempts
51:34Since the end of regulation
51:35Porter
51:37That one misses
51:39Had a chance to tie it up
51:43Oh
51:44Oh
51:44It's a clock
51:45Sending it back
51:47Put postage
51:48This is why every team
51:50Is looking to add
51:51Limp
51:51To its lineup
51:59Here's Porzingis
52:01He's off from 3
52:06It's overtime basketball folks
52:08If you're just tuning in
52:09We're just over
52:102 and a half minutes into it
52:12And
52:13They're unable
52:13To get the tying basket there
52:21No one near him
52:22Porter pulls it down
52:27Gone 6 of 14
52:28With the free ball
52:29It's a night
52:29Just a little over 40%
52:31Smart
52:32Can't tie it up
52:34As that one goes astray
52:35Butler with the ball
52:36Now guarded by Smart
52:40Outside Porzingis
52:42Burring fires
52:43Grounded
52:44Nice
52:44Touch
52:45I see
52:47Ice
52:48He has absolute ice
52:50In his veins
52:51This guy
52:52He lives for these moments
52:55Here's Porter
52:58And you can see why they go to Porter Jr
53:00He knows how to get it done
53:02In the clutch
53:05So guys
53:06It comes down to this
53:07Time for your stars to shine
53:13And for them now
53:14That every possession takes
53:16This is when you're calling your best plays
53:19Getting the ball to your chest
53:21Go
53:21Any foul intention
53:23They're going to have to do that now
53:24Here and again
53:25They're not on the penalty yet
53:33And they go to the intentional foul
53:43It's the first
53:44That makes it a 3.8
53:50And so both receivers are good
53:53It's a 4 point ball game
53:56And what's their best move at this point?
53:58Step 1
53:59Step 1
54:00They need a quick bucket
54:01If they can get a bucket
54:03They have to foul anyone
54:18Porter
54:20Off target from on time
54:21And now they foul
54:23And stop the clock
54:32He hits the first one
54:34And that puts them up by 5
54:39Second one is good
54:40In both of the line
54:42And it's a 6 point ball game
54:44Guys, your thoughts?
54:46No, they're not ready to throw in the towel
54:48Just yet
54:49Wanting to talk some things over
54:52We'll see if this timeout
54:53Can make a difference
54:54But hey
54:54Is that like you can take them home with you
55:12Bailey fires
55:14And the ball out of play
55:16The Warriors will invite
55:32So we see the Warriors
55:33Get the win here
55:34And they had some nervous moments
55:36Down the stretch
55:36But things finally came together
55:38For them in overtime
55:39They probably didn't anticipate
55:41That this one would be that close
55:43Down the wire
55:44But give them credit
55:45They were able to regroup
55:46In that overtime
55:48And this win
55:49Past the field
55:51Satisfying
55:52Now let's check in
55:54With Allie LaForce
55:55On the sideline
55:55What do you have for us, Allie?
55:59Jimmy, congrats on the win
56:00What did it take to get it done tonight?
56:04A lot of heart
56:06My teammates fought hard
56:07Throughout the whole game
56:09And everybody had a tough matchup
56:10And manned up
56:11I didn't do what I was supposed to do
56:13Congrats on the win
56:15Terrific, Allie
56:16Thanks
56:17Thank you for joining us
56:18That'll do it for now
56:19For Greg Anthony
56:21Richard Jefferson
56:22And Allie LaForce
56:23This is Kevin Harlan
56:24Thanks so much for joining us
56:25On this presentation
56:27From 2K Sports
56:28But first
56:30Let's reveal
56:31Our player of the game
56:32Stephen Curry
56:34D
56:34yoke
56:34T
56:45T
56:46Oh, man.
