00:00Have you, you ever see that husband out in public and the kids don't listen to him and the wife
00:08is just on her phone or just talking to everybody else and he's there, but you can tell he's completely
00:16checked out of everything.
00:18That's how I feel right now.
00:20And I wish, you know, Sean mentioned this a minute ago that I'm, he expects me at some point to
00:25snap and I've been, you know.
00:30In some Zen place for a while.
00:34I, I didn't even find yesterday's game throughout the game entertaining, right?
00:40I was not even having a good time watching them be up 17 to three.
00:46It wasn't even fun.
00:47I was like, where's Gotti?
00:49Where, where did, where did that go?
00:51Uh, why are they struggling so much with everything?
00:54Why does it feel like pulling teeth to be up 17 to three against a team?
01:00That's only one in one stadium, right?
01:04Until now, until now I, I didn't, I, I'm that husband.
01:09That's just so beaten down by knowing what the future holds for the rest of my life.
01:16It's either this or get a divorce.
01:18And maybe if I get a divorce, not in her real life, Kevin, but maybe if that happens, I'll
01:24be able to go enjoy life again.
01:25I'll find my exuberance, my vitality back.
01:29Uh-huh.
01:30But right now, that's how it feels with the, with the, with this team is that I'm just,
01:34I'm not even having fun and like enjoying the things that I should be enjoying.
01:40Right.
01:41And that's where, that's where I guess I'm not as upset as I should be.
01:45And maybe I should be upset.
01:47Maybe I should be ticked off rather than, rather than just like, oh, but they're not
01:53even good enough for me to be that passionate about them.
01:57Okay.
01:57They just let me down in more ways all the time.
02:00Yeah.
02:01They're like, hey, guess what?
02:03We're going to screw this up in a way you've never seen before.
02:06Right.
02:06I guess I could be excited and entertained by that.
02:08How are they going to F me over today?
02:10Right.
02:11Uh.
02:12Sorry.
02:12Yeah, they're, they're going to F you over.
02:16My prediction going forward is by making another trade to try to seem relevant and get better
02:22at football.
02:23Meanwhile, knowing you're further leveraging the future for a present that doesn't have
02:28what it takes to compete.
02:29They don't have, yeah, they don't have a future at all.
02:34What's their future?
02:35Rebuild.
02:36How?
02:39How do you rebuild Kevin?
02:41By trading off all the veterans you have now, taking the gigantic salary cap hit, letting
02:46that smash your cap for the next two years while you rebuild your draft assets and maybe
02:51find better people to make those picks.
02:54Which they won't do most.
02:55Yeah.
02:56The biggest factor there, Kevin, is you're right.
02:59The, the, the attitude of the leadership of it all has to be very proactive.
03:06Right.
03:06They have to have a very distinct idea of how to build this thing.
03:11Right.
03:12And this thing right now doesn't even feel like they have that and they're out of, and
03:15they're out of things for the future.
03:17You can trade Pickens.
03:18Yep.
03:18Maybe for a second rounder right now.
03:20Take that cap hit.
03:21Mm-hmm.
03:23Uh.
03:23You can trade Quintum.
03:25Ooh, man.
03:27Now we're talking.
03:28What do you have that's valuable?
03:29Man, we're really, you trade Dak.
03:32To who?
03:33Who wants Dak Prescott's contract?
03:37Take a look, uh, up there in the Midwest.
03:40See if, uh, Minnesota.
03:42What about the Colts?
03:44No, the Colts aren't good enough.
03:46Minnesota is good enough to be like, hold on.
03:50Huh.
03:50Our defense is the exact opposite of the Cowboys?
03:55Perhaps.
03:56Now, keep in mind, I don't actually believe any of this could happen.
04:01Yeah, move on.
04:01Okay.
04:02Well, sorry, Dak.
04:03Uh, that's what I'm trying to do.
04:05Um, but it would take a bold stroke to do that.
04:09I wonder if a team like Minnesota would be involved.
04:12And I also wonder if all of the people who have said, well, if Dak had a better defense
04:17all these years, he would have won Super Bowl after Super Bowl.
04:20Do you have to, you have to kind of concede that probably not at, at this point.
04:25No, it was always, it was always the team wasn't good enough around him.
04:29Yeah.
04:29It was never that he wasn't good enough.
04:31Yeah.
04:32Even if you look at his regular season versus win or go home game splits and playoff splits.
04:38Okay.
04:38And yesterday, Kevin, the feeling from watching them play that game, everything stunk.
04:47The offensive line, which I was so impressed with against Philadelphia.
04:52Yeah.
04:53Was mid at best.
04:54Like, they got beat.
04:56LJ Collier just destroyed them yesterday.
05:00Um, the, the wide receivers, eh, I didn't, I didn't feel like you got any good push out
05:07of anything on the offense.
05:09And I'm, we can talk about the defense's just ineptitude in the second half of this game.
05:14And I'm excited to watch the all 22 for George Pickens.
05:17No, you're not.
05:17No, I am.
05:18Trust me, you're not.
05:19I am.
05:19I watched it already.
05:21For really?
05:21The whole thing?
05:22Yes.
05:22Yes.
05:23Three times.
05:23I got up early this morning, Kevin.
05:26Okay.
05:26Remember, I had a dream about Freddy Krueger.
05:28Yeah, I did know that.
05:29You can't go to sleep after a dream about Freddy Krueger, Alec.
05:32It's just the rules.
05:33Okay.
05:34I thought it came out at like nine o'clock.
05:36My bad.
05:36I was up at five this morning watching it, so.
05:38Okay.
05:38All right.
05:39Well, hey, good job, NFL.
05:40Thank you very much.
05:41But I just want to see if, like, is George Pickens just getting the most devastating coverage you've ever seen,
05:48bracketed or not?
05:49Is he not putting out the effort?
05:50Or is Dak like, nah, you're covered for half a second.
05:53I'm going to pass.
05:54That is my question.
05:56What I saw with Pickens, and this is, they told us their whole plan, right?
06:03The entire plan, they've told us for a long time.
06:06Watch the stripe on Dak Prescott's helmet.
06:08Right.
06:08It is looking at the safety.
06:10As soon as he sees the safety has not broken away from George Pickens, he goes elsewhere.
06:17Every single time.
06:18They're bracketing him.
06:19They have one underneath.
06:19They have one over the top.
06:21Every single time, he kind of glances over there and immediately goes, well, CD's open.
06:26And starts forcing it over there, which, in all honesty, Kevin, I think takes George Pickens out of the game.
06:32Mentally.
06:33I think it takes him going, all right, he doesn't think I have an edge to beat whatever's over here.
06:38And also, does Dak think he can't make that throw and thread that needle?
06:43Dak feels like he can't make a throw over there?
06:45Or it's just too easy to go to the other direction?
06:49Man, once you know that, defenses can start scheming things up to keep that from happening, too.
06:54We'll just look.
06:55We'll just set up over here, and then we'll drop the coverage from the blitz over on CD's side.
07:01So now we have a linebacker underneath, or we have a guy barreling down on him.
07:06And so, yeah, that's what I saw, Kevin, watching Pickens play over and over and over, was brackets, and then
07:14he wasn't available.
07:17Yeah, and somebody brought this up.
07:19Look, this is a sobering thought today, but Dak's contract runs through 2028.
07:27I believe his cap hit the next two seasons after this is $152 million combined, because you kept push, push,
07:37pushing down the road.
07:38So if you ended up trading him, you would take a massive cap hit, which is exactly what I want,
07:50because it would prevent you from even hoping to try to compete and rebuild and stockpile.
07:56But you know, as well as I do, that Jerry says, I don't have time for a bad time.
08:02And his time, because of whatever his trajectory is at, is not to do a rebuild, even though this organization
08:10feels like it's been screaming for that for several, several years now.
08:15It's not going to happen, because they will tell you time and again.
08:18And I appreciate that they have a vision, I don't agree with the vision, but at least they seem to
08:23have one, that while Dak is here, you can compete for a championship, all right?
08:30That has been proven incorrect, I think, thus far this year.
08:34But while I will say this one thing, positive about the Cowboys, they went for it.
08:41They tried.
08:41On fourth down early in the game.
08:42That is true.
08:44And failed.
08:44Yeah, because their running back has lined up seven yards behind the line of scrimmage.
08:50But anyways, but they went for it.
08:52Why didn't they sneak?
08:53I don't know.
08:54They snuck later and Dak got it.
08:56I really don't know.
08:57Use the sneak.
08:58Everybody uses the sneak.
09:00They went for it in the offseason in terms of, and at the beginning of the season, hey, we're going
09:06to make trades, we're going to give extensions, we're going to try to dip into free agency as much as
09:11they have in a while, and this is what you got.
09:14I appreciate they gave it a shot.
09:16It looks like it has failed, and I think you should regroup because of that, but you know, Alec knows,
09:24I know, somebody who's never even heard of the Cowboys, well, that would be weird.
09:29Somebody who doesn't even follow the Cowboys, they know.
09:32That's not going to happen.
09:33We are going to be told there's a lot of football left to play.
09:36They're going to keep chopping wood.
09:37They believe in their guys, and they still have a shot to trade for somebody before next Tuesday's deadline to
09:44try re-energize the conversation.
09:46Yeah, I'm still trying to figure, yes, re-energize the conversation is a perfect way to put that, Kevin.
09:54Because last year, whenever they traded for Quinnen, Quinnen Williams, it was kind of a way to be like, hey,
10:02let's cover up some, look, we're making a move, so everybody will shut up.
10:06Right.
10:07Hey, guys, talk about this instead of how bad we're looking.
10:10Please talk about this instead.
10:12And right now, as of today, you should be talking about how good the future is, except for maybe the
10:18Niners game.
10:19But here you are after losing to one of the worst teams in the NFL, proving that you're one of
10:23the worst teams in the NFL.
10:25But, yeah, they'll say, hey, you know what?
10:27Now, Crosby, I think I'm seeing more and more off the table from the Raiders.
10:33But there's other names out there, Kevin.
10:35One of them also just looks like he has an MCL strain, so Yaya Diaby, probably not one of those
10:40options as well.
10:41But they're going to, they'll probably do that because in the grand headlines, it takes the pressure off of the
10:50head coach and the defense that's inept right now.
10:53And the offense that just doesn't look like, it looks like a train that is stalled.
10:57And that feels like the most terrifying thing of all is at least, like, I can wrap my head around
11:02that I thought the defense already wasn't good.
11:05But when your offense had a chance to put your foot on their throat, they didn't respond.
11:11And your head coach, damn sure, didn't respond.
11:14He was like, well, maybe if we just keep kicking field goals, we'll win.
11:18Because that would have done it in 1987.
11:20I think that he thought, and I think that the rest of this team thought, it's the Cardinals.
11:26They'll quit.
11:27Right.
11:27They'll quit.
11:28We already put our foot on their throat.
11:30We scored enough for them to quit.
11:32Right.
11:32And we don't need to do anything.
11:34And if the head coach is thinking that way, and the rest of the team now is in the same
11:39mentality,
11:40then they're just like, oh, we don't need to bounce back from anything.
11:44And he knows Gardner Minshew never quits.
11:49That's a fact.
11:50It really is.
11:52A man that does chin-ups and push-ups in his jockstrap in the locker room, that's not a quitter,
11:58bro.
11:58Yeah.
11:59No, I am with you on that.
12:01But I think it goes beyond this text right here.
12:04I understand this text right here.
12:05But I think the scary part is the levels down from it.
12:09The 858.
12:10Jerry's just going to look in the mirror, and nothing's going to change until he is not the
12:13Cowboys owner and GM anymore.
12:15So you're right.
12:16We've asked him that numerous times about firing himself, getting another GM.
12:20And he's told us every time, when I bought this team, I decided that no one else was going
12:25to run it except for me.
12:26All right.
12:26So that's not going to change.
12:27Well, let's say in the future, well, then it's going to be Steven, right?
12:31And Steven is not going to abandon his post.
12:35I can't imagine that happening.
12:37And then some...
12:37Do you think he'll want to be the GM?
12:38Yes.
12:39I don't.
12:40But maybe I'm also hopeful.
12:42Who's he going to make the GM?
12:43His buddy that he likes to hang out with?
12:45John Schneider.
12:46I mean, great.
12:47That would be phenomenal.
12:48But what I'm worried about is that is when...
12:52Could that be an official promotion then for Will McClay, who has shown that he can struggle
12:57a lot at making some of these picks?
13:00And I worry that Will McClay is also, to a certain extent, immune from any consequences
13:05because he's buddies with Steven and the Jones family.
13:09Yeah, that's true.
13:10So, perpetuity?
13:12I mean...
13:13And that's the thing.
13:14And then I just saw somebody say, why would you want to come to the Cowboys knowing it's
13:19been like this for the last 30 years?
13:21First of all, and this is what my biggest concern is, is viability and being recognized.
13:26You become a bigger deal when you're with the Cowboys.
13:29Now, do I think you should only become a bigger deal when you show to be excellent at your craft
13:33and win?
13:34Sure.
13:35Not how it works, bro.
13:36Yeah, that's not really how it works at all.
13:37And me, personally, I'm really stubborn.
13:40I would want to come here and be like, I can do it.
13:42Even though it's been shown, like, good people think that, and unfortunately, they fall into
13:48the vortex one way or another.
13:50Yeah, trade Dak to the Vikings, Pickens to the Chiefs, easy.
13:54It would rack your salary cap.
13:56But again, that's what I'm going for.
13:58Because I don't want us to think that we can start doing things to compete.
14:03I want us to draft a young quarterback and just build up the draft assets.
14:10But I understand people's concern about rebuilding through the draft because they don't believe
14:14that we have the right people in place to make those draft picks.
14:17One problem at a time.
14:19So it's a, this is one of those flat circles that just keeps us walking in the flat circle
14:26over and over.
14:26Being a Cowboys fan is the closest to that speech from True Detective season one you'll ever
14:32get post-1990.
14:35You know what?
14:35I'll even say 1999.
14:37How about that?
14:38I'll extend it out a couple of years.
14:40I thought maybe they, they had a shot there.
14:43It didn't work out.
14:45And, you know, I, I will say, Kevin, I did think, and I still do think that they, they
14:51made some decisions this off season that I was like, well, that's something that I think
14:57I can get behind.
14:57A lot of the things that they did, I was like, okay, I can get behind these moves.
15:02At least you're actually making these moves.
15:04They didn't go necessarily to the goodwill designer bin to get these things, but they,
15:11they didn't go to very much further up to get a lot of these things.
15:16Some of the draft picks are okay.
15:19Some of the draft picks are okay.
15:21Uh, but you had one tight end asking him, oh, you were a first round pick to Caleb
15:27Downs?
15:27Man, that was some devastating trash talk right there.
15:30That was like Mike Evans just turning around going, what's your, who is this?
15:33You know, it's unfortunate to us.
15:35Most of the day, a good chunk of the day, you held Trey McBride in, in check.
15:42Yeah.
15:42Like if you go back and you're like, hey, Trey McBride's going to have two catches and
15:46the defense is going to have given up, I don't know, like three points, maybe 10 points if
15:50you want to include.
15:51And I would be like, holy crap, we're definitely going to win this game.
15:54And then it all fell apart.
15:56Minshew on second and short, we'll give it to Algier and he breaks through everybody across
16:00the 50.
16:01He breaks through Durant.
16:03He's still going to the 30, to the 20.
16:06Can you believe it, Algier?
16:07To the house.
16:09How about that?
16:11But, K&C Masterpiece, was that number three right here on 105.3 The Fan?
16:15Because we'll pull back the curtain for just a second.
16:17Alec said, do you want, what, what do you want to come back with?
16:21Alec, if you could just clean up the language, what did I say to you?
16:25Just pick a terrible highlight.
16:28Something bad that happened.
16:29I was like, oh, 63 yards isn't good.
16:31I can't remember, was that the inside run or the outside, the one that went to all the
16:35way out?
16:36That was the inside.
16:37The inside run?
16:37Okay.
16:37So on that one, Shemar James blocked up the middle.
16:41PJ Locke comes down, misses a tackle.
16:43Caleb Downs gets pushed out.
16:46Nothing good happened on that play.
16:48And then there's just wide open space for dude to run.
16:50When Shemar James got blocked out of the play, which Shemar James had a pretty good
16:54game.
16:54Man, I was going to say, in the break, we were talking about, we could do a segment, which
16:58player on this team sucks more than you thought they would?
17:01And Shemar James, not on that list.
17:04Yeah, no, he actually, he had a really good game.
17:06This one particular play, he gets blown up, and it's on PJ Locke at that point to come
17:12fill that space.
17:13He can't.
17:14He gets down in there, misses the shoestring tackle on him, and then all of a sudden he
17:19is gone.
17:19Yeah, Caleb Downs did get dribbled on one play, all the way down the field by one of the
17:24offense, by the center, I believe it was, that dribbled him.
17:28But Kevin, you can also go back to multiple times on these big time runs.
17:32Guess who, on the outside, can't come in and seal off the edge, gets blown up, or gets
17:38pushed inside.
17:39Is it Rashawn Gary?
17:39It's one of, it's either him or Donovan Ezraku.
17:42Same effing story over and over.
17:45These dudes, now maybe my responsibility on this is incorrect, but these dudes just keep
17:49going too far in, and then there's the run all the way to the outside, and nobody's there
17:54for it.
17:55Even though Malik Hooker, I thought, had some good moments too, whenever he was stopping
17:58some stuff, but.
17:59From the 903, the drops you fellows constantly play of the Joneses, mispronouncing their players'
18:06names is hilarious.
18:06How many non-owner GMs don't know all their players?
18:10You know, I went back and listened to Friday's interview, and it wasn't until that moment
18:15that it crystallized in my mind that he, he being Jerry, did not know Revan Spanford's
18:21name.
18:21He said, and he started to get it, he goes, are tied in.
18:25And then I was like, oh no, he just doesn't know Revan Spanford's name, and that, you're
18:31right.
18:31You're, you're 100% right.
18:34That is very concerning.
18:36Now that one, so that one I might give a little bit more leeway to, because it feels like we
18:42changed that pronunciation, but neither one of those were what he said.
18:46Quenum.
18:46Yeah, yeah, Quenum is, that's, that, that is, that is stuff.
18:53You know, you'd like to think that whoever your GM is, whoever's running it, knows every
18:58single detail about every single thing, and knows how to push the buttons on every single
19:07person in the organization.
19:08And can we be honest about something?
19:10I'll be honest about something if you want to bail on me in this, I get that.
19:13We talk about this going into our Jerry interviews.
19:17We don't, I don't, I'll just speak for me, only get me in trouble.
19:22I don't ask Jerry particular, like, specifics about lineup construction or schemes or anything
19:30like that, because I don't think he knows.
19:33I'm quite confident he doesn't know.
19:36Many years ago, I stopped asking those, because I was like, I don't want to hear that specifically
19:40from him, like, well, you know, certain things about the football aspects, and I'm like,
19:45I don't, he's not the person I want to hear that from.
19:48There are a lot of overarching things with the Cowboys organization that I think he, like,
19:53he has designs on.
19:55But when it comes to the intricate details of this thing, I, I, I want somebody who's pining
20:02over it, they can't sleep at night, because their left guard missed two, two blocks, and
20:11now, you know, is that good enough?
20:13How do I motivate, how do I go walk out on the field during practice or after practice
20:17or meet him in the locker room and say, hey, what are your thoughts on, how do I motivate
20:22him?
20:23Well, instead, I got to go have a meeting, because I got lots of meetings built today.
20:27And I'll get my meeting with the coaching staff and ask my questions, get the answers
20:31I need, and then I'll answer the questions to the media.
20:33Right.
20:34Rather than the guy that's sitting there going, I need to, I need to bring so-and-so into the
20:38office and have a talk with him about this.
20:41So that's, if, if you've been watching and you've been thinking Rashawn Gary deserves more
20:48playing time on that field, I got questions about what you're doing.
20:52See, and instead, I went from, I think he's going to be better for this team than people
20:59anticipate, to, I can accept I was wrong about that.
21:03I had a lot of hope for that, especially when he talked about the legacy and everything like
21:08that.
21:09I was wrong about that, and I think, obviously, you have to correct because of that.
21:15The other thing I'm working through in my brain, this was a staggering statistic that
21:21they dropped on the TV broadcast is that, again, as we all predicted, Algier and Gardner
21:30Minshew really did you in.
21:32It wasn't the number three overall pick who you stuffed again and again before he left the
21:38game due to injury.
21:38It wasn't the quarterback who had an elevated opinion of himself and did a holdout.
21:43Good job.
21:44But it was Gardner Minshew and Tyler Algier.
21:47Who had to go to the oxygen tank every time he touched the football.
21:50And I can't get this out of my mind if it weren't for that run of 63 and 50, which,
21:58again, I know this is not how statistics work.
22:01I was looking at it most of the day being like, oh, yeah, their run defense looks pretty
22:06good.
22:06You would have given up 25 carries for 89 yards.
22:09But when it came down to it, he was able to make the plays that they needed.
22:14The Cardinals offense made every play that they needed.
22:16The Cowboys defense made no play that they needed.
22:18The Cowboys offense made no play that they needed.
22:21But I keep looking back at that.
22:23And it's those flashes that are infuriating.
22:26Because if Jeremiah Love ran wild on you until his ankle fell off, then I'd be like, so you
22:30just always are terrible.
22:33But you looked good for like half the game.
22:36And then you look like the worst thing I've ever seen.
22:39Because Gardner Minshew stepped in and changed everything.
22:43He did.
22:44And you know what?
22:45Dude, health-wise, Arizona had no other options to go to with most of their players.
22:51Yeah.
22:51And then they said, well, we'll put in Gardner as a white flag almost to show that we're,
22:57that's it.
22:57We've given up on the starter.
22:59We're done with that.
23:00And then he said, guys, they don't have a game plan for me.
23:05Yeah.
23:05They didn't scout me at all this week.
23:07And even then, I still thought you were going to win.
23:10I was already, one of my overreaction or reality questions for Tuesday was going to be overreaction
23:18or reality.
23:19The Cowboys would have lost this game if Gardner Minshew would have started.
23:23Well, I think you could definitively put that down in the fact category because you didn't
23:28even see him for the whole game.
23:31And he destroyed you.
23:33You're looking at Gardner Minshew came in off the bench, three touchdown passes.
23:39He completed 17 of 23 passes for 188 yards in less than 17 minutes of play.
23:45Algier gashed them for 147 rushing yards and a touchdown on 11 touches.
23:53Michael Wilson, predictive genius.
23:56Oh, no, that's Mack, right?
23:57Oh, yeah, Mack Wilson.
23:59He had a pretty big play in the game.
24:00Not the predictive genius.
24:01He added 111 receiving yards and a touchdown on eight catches.
24:05The defense gave up 30 points after halftime.
24:10And the Cowboys offense got outgained by more than 200 yards, gaining just 3.6 per play.
24:17So I know we've gone after the defense a lot.
24:19The offense takes a lot of blame for this.
24:22And you can save me with, are you kidding me?
24:24They scored 30 points.
24:25Yeah, I'm not kidding you.
24:27They gave up in terms of scoring touchdowns when it mattered the most.
24:33Now, if you think that's conservative play calling from the coach, which I do, or just fundamental failures from anywhere
24:39from the left guard to the quarterback and everyone in between, all of that I'd be willing to listen to.
24:43This is from R.J. Ochoa.
24:46Cowboys defense provided the offense six stops against Arizona, punts or turnovers.
24:52The Dallas Cowboys offense turned that into 14 points.
24:56Seven of those points came from the five-yard line where the return, interception return, took you down to the
25:02five-yard line.
25:03And you were able to punch that sucker in.
25:06On the other five, you scored a touchdown.
25:08Yeah, that's it.
25:10If your offense is Gotti, then...
25:13Is that when we should have known we were doomed?
25:15I said it that day.
25:16I was like, that's the worst thing.
25:18I hate it.
25:18And then Clayton Adams was like, I love it.
25:20Now I can hold them accountable.
25:22What are you doing now?
25:24Who's holding anybody in that building accountable right now?
25:28I don't know.
25:29And then the fan base, our audience, our tolos were like, you guys have to do it.
25:35Y'all have to cuss at the Joneses because they won't do it to themselves.
25:39I'm like, that's my responsibility?
25:41These dudes make millions of dollars to go out there and do this crap.
25:45Do it.
25:46And now I have to go ask them if they're embarrassed again?
25:49They need to ask themselves that.
25:51So yeah, the defense also forced a three and out to begin overtime, Kevin.
25:57Let me ask you this, and I will start this by saying I am a stupid idiot, gentlemen.
26:04I am a stupid idiot because I went into overtime being like, oh, we still got a shot to win
26:11this?
26:12This could be the best scenario.
26:14We still win the game, but there's still plenty that needs to be fixed that hopefully the Cowboys will address.
26:19That's a stupid line of thinking by me, first of all.
26:21When we got the three and out and they punt, am I a stupid idiot?
26:26Because I've already convinced myself I am.
26:28Because I was like, wow, we're going to win this game.
26:32Why did I think that?
26:34I don't know.
26:34Yes, you're a stupid idiot for that.
26:36That's fair.
26:37I can see.
26:38I think you're a very smart man.
26:40But in that moment.
26:41And I told you earlier, I like you.
26:43I always have.
26:45Most of the time.
26:47I can think of.
26:48I know.
26:48He's right.
26:49It's like two or three that we've had.
26:50I can think of a few times.
26:52But even still, we moved on.
26:55But yeah, Kevin, here's why.
26:58And here's why you're a stupid idiot for it.
27:00For yourself.
27:01For what you said about yourself.
27:03We have that as a drop.
27:07The defense forces a three and out.
27:09And you believed that the offense could move the ball and get a first down that mattered.
27:14Right.
27:15After not having gotten first downs that mattered for the entire fourth quarter.
27:18You know what?
27:19And you're right.
27:20That is why I'm a stupid idiot.
27:22But I also didn't understand why we gave them the ball.
27:25Because I was like, I get an overtime theory.
27:28That's what you do.
27:30But did you just see our defense?
27:32You look like the worst defense that has ever existed.
27:34And we're like, that's fine.
27:35We're going to give them the ball.
27:37Because guess what?
27:37Ace up our sleeve.
27:38We could go for two.
27:40Like, okay, I got it, shoddy.
27:42We all understand how it works.
27:44I thought that was a terrible idea.
27:46And then him and CP were like, in your face, Kevin.
27:50Three and out.
27:51And then the other thing was, hey, I like running the ball.
27:55And I'm glad that last week they decided to run the ball.
27:59I am glad, to a certain extent, that this week they kept trying to run the ball.
28:04Even though it wasn't particularly effective.
28:07Overtime is not where I need everyone to be able to get on the field and participate.
28:12I like Javante Williams a lot.
28:14We're going to try to run the clock out.
28:15I mean, I guess they were playing for a tie.
28:18But yeah, you've got the greatest offense there is.
28:20You've got your two No. 1 wide receivers.
28:23You've got your stud quarterback.
28:25Go out there and throw the effing ball.
28:31Although, as we can see from plays 2 and 3, that might have collapsed anyway because of the offensive line.
28:36Do me a favor real quick, Kevin.
28:37Can you go to the box score?
28:38Do you have the box score?
28:39I do.
28:41You want to throw the ball.
28:44Dak didn't even have a 200 yards in this game.
28:47Dak?
28:48Nope.
28:49What is it, 10 incompletions in this game?
28:51Correct.
28:51Not all on him, of course.
28:53No.
28:53But he didn't even have 200 yards.
28:55You couldn't.
28:56You couldn't do anything offensively to this team.
28:58Yeah, you couldn't run the ball.
29:00Run the ball.
29:00You couldn't throw the ball.
29:01Yeah.
29:01Offensively, you fell apart.
29:04And that's inexplicable.
29:07There's no way that you can explic that at all.
29:10And I don't even know if I'm going to say that right.
29:12You shouldn't be able to explain that at all whenever you have an elite play caller calling all the plays
29:19for you.
29:20There's no way the offense should be this muddy right now.
29:25And in the offensive line, I'll start with them.
29:29They played a poor game compared to the way they played before that.
29:32Agreed.
29:34And Kevin, quite honestly, I think it was, what, 26%, 29% pressure rate?
29:38The blitz rate wasn't what the Packers did to you by any means.
29:43There were plenty of times they dropped into coverage, lined up things and just dropped into coverage.
29:47Didn't blitz much more.
29:48They were getting home on four.
29:50So, like, that, it started there, and then everything else just, I don't know, man.
29:57If you have a play caller like that, you shouldn't be, you shouldn't be relying on, hey, man.
30:03He's a great play caller.
30:04This defense had problems.
30:06Yeah.
30:07We treat this defense like they're the, I don't know, 2,000 Ravens.
30:11We treat this defense like they're the ones who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones
30:11who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones
30:11who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones
30:11who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones
30:11who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones
30:11who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones
30:11who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones who are the ones
