00:38campbell um you know gets knocked out of that game and certainly we hope he recovers and everybody who
00:45tunes in and just flips on the radio there's nothing new to report other than to say that's
00:50positive although maybe the most encouraging quote uh was a story i saw on our website

00:59positive i got to see his parents talk to his wife and everybody's in good spirits it's about the
01:04recovery and it's a small setback that's the family they're very positive so that's good in that regard

05:5616 a year um and the other one was which i was surprised to hear and then maybe i shouldn't

06:04surprised and it's linebacker zach bond dude that that's the one that jumped off to me that that i'm
06:08i'm like oh yes please now i have no idea if zach bond or jordan brooks can cover a tight
06:14end or
06:15that's not what they're just supposed to be the off-ball linebacker that makes all the all the
06:19tackles but they're both tackling machines um bond is 6 3 2 25 and jordan brooks is six feet but
06:26he's
06:26240 pounds it feels like either one of those guys because they do what they do it feels like that
06:33that could fill a jack campbell role well here's what it is written a scouting report on both these
06:39players zach bond linebacker philadelphia turns 30 in december remains one of the better off the ball
06:44linebackers in the league there are several teams in need of linebacker help and bond would come at
06:49a cheap price because of how the eagle structure contracts he does not have any guaranteed money
06:53on his deal after this season an acquiring team could view him as a rental and cut him in the
06:58off
06:58season before the 14.4 million dollar option bonuses due september 1st the eagles have lost
07:03six in a row gm howie roseman should be selling and bond is one of his more attractive pieces to
07:08shop
07:08and as far as jordan brooks is concerned linebacker uh miami the dolphins are executing their tank
07:18effectively they've remained moderately competitive while losing six or seven games to begin the season
07:23the rookie class looks promising the next step would be accruing some more draft capital for 2027
07:28one issue though is they do not have many tradable players brooks is a reliable veteran off ball
07:33linebacker and one of the few he signed a three-year extension in july and has close to 13 million
07:39in
07:39guaranteed salary in 2027 so any acquiring team would be making a multi-year commitment the dolphins would
07:45take on 15.6 million in dead money if they traded brooks this regime with coach jeff halfley and gm
07:52john eric sullivan has not been afraid of dead money thus far well he's jordan brooks is 29 uh he
08:00doesn't turn 30 until october of next year and he like i said he's a tackling machine had 183 tackles
08:07last year so you go back and think about those numbers from last year was he the leading tackler in
08:13the nfl last year and right behind him would have been devin white and jack campbell so this is a
08:19guy who
08:20gets the job done from that from that standpoint and uh i i either one of those sounds great i

08:27about uh ameek robertson as well and i think there are players you can get maybe on the cheap
08:33and maybe ameek is one of those guys um but if you want to make a splash i think jordan

08:41zach bond buddabaker a combination of those three that would be making a splash paul you you are a
08:49dolphins fan yes what do you think of jordan brooks i think he's a really good player he doesn't solve
08:55your issue carding tight ends because he's not very good at it but he's a good downhill run stuffing
