00:24Guy Mowbray
00:30and we're good to go for match day one in the Commonwealth Libertadores
00:34what are we going to get from this one?
00:36Well the hosts are clear favourites going into this tyre
00:38but with that comes pressure
00:40particularly against a team that will remain compact
00:42are well drilled defensively
00:44and are a threat on the counter-attack
00:45if the hosts don't go through though
00:47it will be a major upset
01:08This is how the hosts line up
01:09Well it's a 3-5-2 formation
01:12but the player that holds everything together
01:14is the deep midfield player
01:15he's good defensively but he's also
01:17a very good passer of the ball
01:19he's key to their game plan here
01:38This is the visitors team for today
01:40Well they're going to play with two wingers
01:42in this 4-3-3 formation
01:44so they need to switch the ball quickly
01:46and get crosses into the box
01:48but they also need to get at least
01:50two midfield players making runs
01:52into the penalty area, that's a must
02:21the referee gets us started
02:23settle in and enjoy if you can
02:25the referee gets us started
02:34The ref makes the call, it's straight to the spot
02:39but no card for it
02:40Well I'm surprised by that decision
02:42to be honest
02:44If there were any nerves they didn't show
02:46a well taken penalty
03:02Yeah, never in doubt was it
03:04as the keeper goes slightly early
03:05he just passes it into the opposite side
03:22So off we go at 1-0
03:34That has stopped any potential danger
03:37Well that was a really excellent piece of defending there
04:00We need to be better with the ball
04:02We need to be better with the ball
04:09This is looking better with every stride
04:11and that's where it ends
04:17There's a good feel to this attack
04:24Gets past really nicely
04:28Oh he's got to it
04:29Oh he's got to it
04:29Yeah, quick off his line
04:30read the shot well
04:31and made a very good save
04:37Played into the box
04:39and there's nobody tall enough
04:41to get anywhere near that one
04:42Chance for the equaliser
04:44and it's there to equalise
04:46settle in for the rest of this
04:48a great game already
04:59Well here's the goal again
05:00and it's a really nice ball
05:01to put him through
05:02the vision to set up
05:03the chance is outstanding
05:04and the finish is so clinical
05:06he just rolls it past the keeper
05:08cool as you like
05:13So it's one each
05:14as the game restarts
05:24and play on is the verdict there
05:29and they've got to find reverse gear now
05:32on he goes
05:33terrific
05:35it's not away yet
05:37and he gets it clear
05:39Yeah, good decision
05:40just get it away
05:42and the card
05:44is now shown
05:45Yeah, glad the referee
05:46went back for that one
05:54Setting up the chance
05:58Now to finish it
06:00It's in
06:00and it's their game to lose
06:02from here
06:13Well as you can see
06:14he beats the defenders
06:15so easily
06:16with a change of pace
06:17and then it's a decent finish
06:18that's a very good goal
06:20you have to say
06:22So that makes it 2-1
06:24and away we go again
06:37This looks too easy
06:38it looks far too easy
06:40He's got teammates around him
06:44but snuffed out
06:45before the move could develop
06:49Oh look at this
06:50away they go on the counter
07:01Good pressure
07:02can they make something of this?
07:15I'm afraid that's careless
07:16Getting closer
07:26I'm afraid that's careless
07:27Under pressure
07:27it's been sorted out
07:29by an alert goalkeeper
07:37Terrific, see you later
07:40They're being afforded
07:41too much space here
07:42It's to equalize
07:45Then they've levelled it up
07:48Nothing to split them once more
07:51Well we can take another look now
07:53It's great interplay between the two of them
07:55to start the move off
07:56And then through on goal
07:57he just goes to power
07:58and smashes it past the keeper
08:00There's no stopping that
08:01What a great finish
08:04It's all level again then
08:05You don't want to stray from this
08:15Counter attack coming
08:17away they go
08:17Counter attack coming
08:27Could be setting something now
08:35Oh, a free kick
08:37What a place for it
08:38Oh, a free kick
08:44And somehow
08:45He saved it
08:46at full stretch
08:49And that'll do it, the end of...
09:44And the game restarts with the sides level.
09:59Oh, this looks promising.
10:07And that's not going to cut it.
10:10A chance now for a quick transition.
10:14And a superb chance now.
10:34Excellent progress, and it continues.
10:40Space now to get a crossover.
10:43Rule one, well read.
10:47Good pass, good chance.
10:49Someone for the team there.
10:52A promising move stalls.
10:58Breaking at pace, this could be dangerous.
11:01And the counter fizzling out at the end.
11:08And into the last 30 minutes now.
11:12Gets past really nicely.
11:16And he goes, and on, and on.
11:21Decent move looked to be building, but that's it for now.
11:25Well, that's how to defend the edge of the box.
11:33Oh, could be a chance here.
11:40Oh, brilliant anticipation.
11:46Now, what can they do from here?
11:49No way through, possession lost.
11:54Some about to come on.
11:59Tends for the lead.
12:01And there's the goal.
12:02To put them in front.
12:13Well, as you can see, he gave the keeper no chance there.
12:15He looked so confident, didn't he?
12:17That's a cool finish.
12:24So, yet another goal.
12:253-2 now, and off they go.
12:30We've got 20 to go in this one.
12:34On he goes.
12:35Terrific.
12:38Now, this has to be.
12:42And good composure to claim the ball.
12:51It's gone out of play, throwing to come.
12:55Well, the visitors have controlled possession, as you can see.
12:58But they've shown a real lack of creativity today.
13:00They need to be far more inventive in the final third
13:02if they're to turn things around here.
13:05Well, first, they need to recover the ball.
13:09Oh, it must be here.
13:11And they've scored again.
13:12That puts them further in front.
13:14What a position to be in.
13:18Well, here's the replay.
13:19Watch how he goes past his man with such ease.
13:21And it's just a change of pace.
13:22And the finish is just as good.
13:24That's an excellent goal.
13:28And the game gets going again at 4-2.
13:45And not getting close enough here.
13:48And the tackle's spot on.
14:03And a superb chance now.
14:13It's played into the box.
14:15There's a keeper in command of his area with a clean punch.
14:21He needs to keep a cool head under pressure.
14:30Setting up the chance.
14:34And that puts a really impressive seal on what has been a fantastic performance.
14:53Well, here it is again.
14:54And they've taken their goal well.
14:56But the defending was non-existent.
14:57That should never happen.
15:04That's the final whistle.
15:06Leaving the fans here to go home happy.
15:08A win to get their campaign underway.
15:10Your thoughts?
15:11Yeah, that's a good win.
15:12And a vital three points.
15:14Another win next time out.
15:15And they'll be in a great position.
15:17Setting up the chance.
15:18Let's see.
