00:41 Alhamdulillah, in this program we talk about the life of the companions, their good deeds, their good morals.
00:51 Today, the great companion we are going to talk about,
00:55 the great Prophet, peace be upon him, has been blessed with great greatness.
01:01 And I must say, even before he entered the house of Islam, he was included in the Hanafah.
01:10 And he was a man of good nature.
01:12 The name of that companion is Sayyidna Amr bin Abasar.
01:19 It is fortunate that I met my master for the first time.
01:23 I met him for the first time and my faith entered my heart and soul.
01:27 We had our first conversation and it was such a conversation that it entered my heart and soul.
01:32 There is a famous market in Mecca, the market of 'Uqaz.
01:37 This person also comes there and the great Prophet, peace be upon him, is giving announcements to people.
01:42 And the great Prophet told the idolaters of Mecca to come to the Oneness of God.
01:47 So the idolaters of Mecca mocked the great Prophet.
01:50 And they tortured the great Prophet.
01:53 They misbehaved.
01:55 But I must say that the great Prophet, peace be upon him, was standing in front of them like a mountain of patience.
02:01 He took care of them with forgiveness and mercy.
02:04 Hazrat Amr bin Abasar was surprised to see what their deeds were and what the deeds of this great Prophet were.
02:10 He was a little confused.
02:12 People moved away and he came to the same market of Mecca in the court of the Prophet.
02:17 He asked, "Who are you?"
02:19 The great Prophet, peace be upon him, said, "I am the Prophet of Allah."
02:22 He said, "Who is a Prophet?"
02:24 He said, "The one who brings a message from Allah is called a Prophet."
02:27 He said, "Are you really a Prophet?"
02:29 He said, "Yes, Allah has given me the title of Prophethood."
02:33 Hazrat Amr bin Abasar, who was a good man of nature of the tribe of Sulaim, was in the court of the great Prophet.
02:39 He asked, "What is your message?"
02:41 The great Prophet said, "Believe in Allah.
02:44 Do not associate anyone with Him.
02:47 Do not worship idols.
02:49 And treat your relatives well.
02:51 Behave well."
02:53 He said, "Someone has brought faith to you."
02:56 There were two dear slaves with the great Prophet.
03:00 They were Abu Bakr and Bilal.
03:02 He said, "Both of them have brought faith to me."
03:05 He said, "Tell me what Islam is."
03:08 The great Prophet said, "Being good to everyone and feeding the poor is Islam."
03:18 He said, "What is faith?"
03:20 The great Prophet said, "Being steadfast in the path of Allah and being a mountain of patience and steadfastness is faith."
03:28 This slave asked the great Prophet in the court of the great Prophet.
03:31 He asked, "What is Islam?"
03:33 The great Prophet said, "Do not hurt anyone with your tongue.
03:36 Do not hurt anyone with your body."
03:39 He asked, "What is faith?"
03:41 The great Prophet said, "The highest level of faith is the beauty of character."
03:47 When this beautiful conversation was heard by the good man of nature,
03:52 the first conversation was in the heart.
03:56 He said, "I believe in you and I accept the oneness of Allah.
04:02 I refuse to worship idols and I declare the beauty of character to my relatives."
04:08 The great Prophet blessed him and said, "Go to your area.
04:13 These days, we are being oppressed.
04:16 You cannot tolerate it.
04:18 When you find out that the Lord of the Universe has given us victory,
04:23 you should come to my court in the court of the Prophet."
04:26 Respected audience, to discuss this beautiful conversation,
04:29 we have with us the great personality.
04:34 When he speaks, the river of honey flows.
04:37 I welcome the respected personality, Mufti Muhammad Ahad Wasim Qadri.
04:43 Assalamu Alaikum.
04:45 Mufti Sahib, what a beautiful and beautiful discourse.
04:49 When the viewers of the world see it,
04:51 when they hear the character of the companions and their good character,
04:55 a light comes into the character of the people.
05:00 Today, the great companion is mentioned.
05:02 May Allah accept.
05:04 May Allah accept this service of our channel, your contribution.
05:07 May Allah grant everyone the reward of goodness.
05:15 Mufti Sahib, today is the beautiful discourse of Sayyidina Amr bin Abasah.
05:19 I would like to ask him some questions about his introduction and acceptance of Islam.
05:24 I am Ahmad, and I am pleased to be in the company of the Messenger of Allah.
05:28 I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed.
05:31 In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
05:33 You have presented the summary of your life beautifully.
05:37 Thank you.
05:39 The topic of discussion is the same as you have drawn.
05:44 The point is that Allah has chosen those who have been chosen from the beginning
05:50 for the service of the court of the Prophet, for the presence of the Prophet,
05:54 for the company of the Prophet.
05:56 They have somehow, whatever the reason, whatever the excuse,
06:02 whatever the route they have taken,
06:05 they have reached the court of the Prophet.
06:10 And remember this is a categorical thing.
06:15 The companions, the companions, this is a very famous thing that you do more than me.
06:22 The companion is not made by action.
06:24 If the companion is made, then it is made by seeing the Prophet.
06:29 And the next thing is that it is made by the choice of Allah.
06:33 The companion is made by the choice of Allah.
06:36 This is something to remember.
06:40 And on this, the glorious statement of the Prophet is witness.
06:44 In Musnad al-Firdaus, Imam Dalmi has quoted this narration.
06:50 Hazrat Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, is the narrator of this hadith.
06:55 The Prophet said,
06:58 "Allah has seen in the hearts of the servants,
07:01 and He did not find a heart more pure than the hearts of the companions.
07:07 And for this He chose them and made them companions.
07:11 And what you do good, it is from Allah that is good.
07:15 And what you do evil, it is from Allah that is evil.
07:19 And as He said to him, Peace.
07:22 The mercy of the world, the Prophet said,
07:26 "Allah has seen in the hearts of the people of the earth.
07:34 Allah has seen in the hearts of the people.
07:37 He has seen in the hearts of the people.
07:40 What does it mean to see?
07:43 There is nothing hidden from the knowledge of Allah.
07:46 He knows all the unseen and the seen.
07:49 But the meaning of seeing is to examine, to examine, to review.
08:00 And my Prophet said, "Allah has seen in the hearts of the people of the earth.
08:09 Allah has seen in the hearts of the people of the earth.
08:21 He has found the most righteous.
08:25 He has found the center of righteousness, the bearer of righteousness.
08:29 He is the group of my companions after the prophets.
08:33 For this reason Allah chose them and made them my companions.
08:40 For this reason Allah chose them and made them my companions.
08:47 Two things to remember in the light of this hadith.
08:52 One is that it is known from this and it is known from its text, from the nafs.
08:58 Neither did any companion become a companion by his own will, nor did anyone become a companion by the will of Allah.
09:04 Now the companions were those companions who had every morning Eid.
09:13 The Prophet had a close relationship.
09:16 The Prophet had a feast.
09:19 They were fortunate people.
09:22 The companions whom Allah chose and showed the way, brought them to the court of the Prophet,
09:29 honored them with this honor, gave them this happiness.
09:34 Among those fortunate people, among those people, among those holy souls,
09:39 Hazrat Abu Nujah, Amr bin Abasah, may Allah be pleased with him, is also there.
09:46 As you said, one introduction is that you are among the Hunafa companions.
09:55 The Hunafa of the Hanif religion.
10:00 Hanafi.
10:02 Hanif.
10:05 It is said that whoeverse identity is never bowed down in front of any idol,
10:14 and whose face is not stained by the worship of the lion and the idol, is called Hanif.
10:20 And Mufti sahib, these were very limited people.
10:23 Yes, those people who in that era, in the era of ignorance,
10:28 in the dark of idol worship and shirk,
10:32 even in that society, if Allah has kept someone pure from idol worship and shirk,
10:40 then it is a special grace.
10:42 Not only did Allah keep him pure, but He put hatred in his heart.
10:46 Hazrat Amr bin Abasah, may Allah be pleased with him, says himself,
10:51 that Allah had revealed in my heart that this idol cannot be the owner of profit and loss.
10:57 And bowing down in front of them is an insult to humanity.
11:00 He himself says, He has revealed it in my heart.
11:03 I will talk about this again.
11:05 One introduction is that your father Majda Ramallah bint Waqia is there.
11:12 And about him, the most honored companion of the Prophet, Abu Zar Ghaffari, may Allah be pleased with him,
11:21 is also from their homeland.
11:23 The king of poverty.
11:26 The Imam of the Prophet.
11:27 Such a great companion.
11:29 He was a generous brother.
11:31 Yes, in this regard, he was the most generous brother of Hazrat Amr bin Abasah.
11:36 A brother from the mother.
11:38 This is one introduction.
11:40 In the Tamjid of the companions,
11:43 Allama Imam Ibn Hajar Asqalani, may Allah be pleased with him,
11:48 has himself quoted this narration from Hazrat Amr bin Abasah.
11:52 He says that Allah the Almighty had removed me from shirk and idolatry and put hatred in my heart.
12:04 And I used to consider it against the respect of humanity.
12:08 He says, Once I met a person from the people of the book.
12:15 Who were in search of the truth.
12:17 They were in search of the truth.
12:20 They were hoping that when they would see the light of the message of truth,
12:27 they would accept it.
12:29 Once I met a person from the people of the book.
12:31 And he told Hazrat Amr bin Abasah that it is written in our books
12:36 that such a person will come,
12:39 the head of Makkah will be on the ground,
12:42 that light will be manifested.
12:45 He will be the one who will remove the hatred of humanity by removing the art of shirk and idolatry.
12:52 Dear viewers, Mufti sahib is introducing himself.
12:56 And he also said that he himself said something and now we will ask Mufti sahib what is the truth in it.
13:02 He says that I am the fourth Muslim who came under the servitude of the Prophet.
13:06 The beautiful mention of Hazrat Amr bin Abasah is still going on.
13:09 Keep your heart and soul connected to the remembrance of the Prophet.
13:11 We will meet after a break.
13:14 Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
13:16 Respected viewers, you are part of the program of Hayat e Sahaba.
13:21 And a beautiful mention is still going on.
13:23 The companion of the Prophet, whom the Lord of the Universe did not let his identity be revealed to the outsiders even in the age of ignorance,
13:31 and kept him safe,
13:33 and came under the servitude of the Prophet.
13:35 We will meet for the first time.
13:37 We will have the first conversation.
13:39 You have seen great people,
13:42 great miracles happen.
13:43 The moon is shown in two pieces,
13:45 the sun is turned upside down,
13:47 the stones are reciting the Kalima,
13:49 and the tree is walking and giving testimony in the court of the Prophet.
13:52 But he did not come to Dar-e-Islam even after seeing such great miracles.
13:57 These are the fortunate people, the chosen people,
14:00 who came to the court of the Prophet.
14:02 The first meeting took place,
14:04 saw the face of the Lord,
14:06 sweet words came out of the mouth of the Prophet and came under the servitude of the Prophet.
14:09 Yes, Mufti sahib.
14:11 The real thing is what you said,
14:12 that this is the same thing that I have said,
14:15 that because they were pure in nature,
14:17 Allah had chosen them from the beginning,
14:19 chose them,
14:21 otherwise Abu Jahl stayed there all his life,
14:23 Abu Lahab stayed there,
14:25 and kept looking,
14:27 kept looking with open eyes,
14:29 kept observing,
14:31 when the pebbles in his hand gave testimony,
14:33 then instead of believing,
14:35 he threw them down and ran away,
14:37 and said that Muhammad's magic has also worked on them.
14:40 So those who have Allah,
14:41 Allah has finished their hearts.
14:43 And these were the people who Allah had chosen from the beginning.
14:46 When a man of the book,
14:48 the people of the book,
14:50 told that it is written in our books that
14:52 the era of the Prophet will come,
14:54 and they will end idol worship and shirk,
14:57 and they will put their faith in the worship of Allah,
14:59 and their religion will be the best.
15:01 Hazrat Amr bin Absa says,
15:03 then from that time,
15:05 I started waiting with such intensity,
15:08 that I used to say that when that time comes,
15:12 and when that moment comes,
15:15 that I reach the court of the Prophet,
15:18 and join the ranks of the slaves of the Master,
15:20 he says that I used to stay in my area,
15:22 and used to know the fresh and new situation of Mecca,
15:25 and I used to know because someone will give me the news.
15:28 So one day I asked a person who was coming,
15:31 that tell me something new about Mecca,
15:33 some new news,
15:35 which we call as some new and fresh,
15:37 so he said that the new and fresh is that
15:39 a person has claimed to be a Prophet,
15:43 and he forbids people from idol worship and shirk,
15:47 he calls people to the worship of Allah,
15:51 and seeing his teachings,
15:54 every person says that
15:57 their religion is really the true religion.
16:01 The one who said this said,
16:06 that whether someone says it with his heart or not,
16:08 his heart always gives the proof,
16:11 that the invitation he is calling to,
16:14 the path he is calling to, is the path of truth.
16:16 It was a custom,
16:18 that Hazrat Amr bin Abusah,
16:21 after that, did not know about his right and left,
16:24 he did not think about anything,
16:27 after that, he did not even consider a moment of delay as a custom,
16:31 and then immediately he sat on the horse,
16:35 and started the procession to the court of Prophethood,
16:37 at that time, the Bazaar-e-Uqaz,
16:39 which you have mentioned,
16:41 was on its peak,
16:43 and it was the famous market of Mecca,
16:46 it was a big commercial market,
16:48 from the whole of Hijaz,
16:50 from the whole of the Arabian Peninsula,
16:52 in fact, people used to come to this market,
16:54 from Syria and Egypt,
16:56 to buy and sell,
16:58 it was a place of fair,
17:00 along with that, there was buying and selling,
17:02 poetry and poetry,
17:04 and the presence of the Prophet,
17:05 and the atmosphere of the sports,
17:07 so it was a famous market and fair of the Arabs,
17:11 so because people used to come from far away,
17:15 so Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
17:18 had also received permission,
17:22 from the Barg-e-Khudas,
17:24 that beloved,
17:26 (Arabic)
17:29 for three years,
17:31 you used to preach secretly,
17:33 and many people had come to the Islamic circle,
17:37 and the question you had asked,
17:39 before going on the break,
17:41 the answer to that is also present in this,
17:44 that when Amr bin Absa came,
17:46 he saw two, three,
17:48 one was Aka Karim,
17:50 one was Hazrat Abu Bakr,
17:52 and one was Hazrat Bilal,
17:54 so he thought that I am the fourth,
17:56 but he did not know,
17:58 that is why he used to say that I am the fourth,
18:00 he did not know,
18:02 (Arabic)
18:04 Allah,
18:06 (Arabic)
18:08 Allah,
18:10 (Arabic)
18:12 Allah,
18:14 (Arabic)
18:16 Allah,
18:18 (Arabic)
18:20 Allah,
18:22 (Arabic)
18:24 Allah,
18:26 (Arabic)
18:28 Allah,
18:31 (Arabic)
18:32 (Arabic)
18:34 (Arabic)
18:36 (Arabic)
18:38 (Arabic)
18:40 (Arabic)
18:42 (Arabic)
18:44 (Arabic)
18:46 (Arabic)
18:48 (Arabic)
18:50 (Arabic)
18:52 (Arabic)
18:54 (Arabic)
18:56 (Arabic)
19:00 Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is presenting the message of truth in front of people. When my master presented the message of truth, he made the slogan of 'Heed' (Unity of God) and declared his prophethood.
19:10 He expressed the message of 'Barat' (Faith) from 'Maboodaan-e-Batila' (Hell)
19:15 So, obviously this was a word, a sentence, a thing which would have caused a earthquake in the winds of disbelief and Shirk.
19:25 How could those people, who had kept 360 idols in the house of God, bear it?
19:34 Each tribe had a separate idol, each family had a separate God, they worshipped Him, they worshipped Him.
19:41 And the generations were worshippers of Him, they were in the clutches of Him.
19:46 This idol worship and Shirk.
19:47 So, it was not even in their imagination that anyone could stand against them, take a stand.
19:52 When Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) announced this, the people who had faith in him, started to say bad things about Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
20:01 They started to make a fuss, they started to make noise, they started to make a storm of misbehaviour.
20:09 But my master (peace be upon him) never came to the battlefield for himself.
20:15 "I am only a mercy for the people, and I am not a favor for the people." (Quran 2.24)
20:22 When the companions say that you should curse, raise your hands, you say "Allah is the only one who can do this."
20:29 "Give us guidance."
20:32 On the occasion of the conquest of Mecca, they say "La tasreeba alikum ul yaum antum uttilaqa"
20:37 So, how could they have answered them?
20:40 My master (peace be upon him) is expressing his greatness of mercy.
20:43 He is praying in response to their abuses.
20:46 "Wa innaka laa laa khuluqin azeem"
20:50 My master (peace be upon him) is smiling in response to their ridicule.
20:58 "Subhanallah"
20:59 So, this scene was being seen by Amr bin Abasa.
21:03 That from one side, this is loyalty and from the other side, this is loyalty.
21:06 "Subhanallah"
21:08 On one side, that cruelty and oppression and on the other side, this is mercy.
21:11 "Allah is the greatest"
21:12 On one side, the abuses and on the other side, the prayers.
21:16 And on the other side, this is greed that I wish they would be saved.
21:20 This thing got into the heart of Amr bin Abasa and it affected him.
21:25 So, after speaking for a while, when he was standing here and there,
21:29 Hazrat Amr bin Abasa was standing.
21:33 He was waiting, he was looking for an opportunity.
21:36 He was in a hurry that when the moment of solitude comes to me.
21:39 When he was standing here and there, when the moment of solitude came to me,
21:42 he came close to the mercy of the world.
21:44 And he came and said Salam.
21:46 And after saying Salam, then that conversation happened.
21:49 "Subhanallah"
21:49 Which you told in the beginning.
21:51 "Subhanallah"
21:52 When he asked questions, he got satisfactory answers.
21:57 He became satisfied.
21:59 When the heart gave testimony,
22:02 by looking at the face,
22:03 by listening to the words,
22:05 when the voices of testimony rose from the heart,
22:09 then that testimony came out from the tongue.
22:11 "Subhanallah"
22:12 And he said, "Master, then give me the crown of your servitude."
22:16 "Allah Akbar"
22:17 He said, "Tell me before anyone has accepted your pure, pure, beautiful invitation."
22:26 So my master said, "Two are present here."
22:29 "Yes"
22:30 "One is a slave and one is free.
22:33 This is Bilal and this is my Abu Bakr."
22:35 "Subhanallah"
22:36 So Hazrat Abu Bakr bin Absa also came under the servitude of the Prophet.
22:39 Then the mercy of the world, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said,
22:43 "Go back now, the situation is not good.
22:46 The situation is very bad.
22:49 And I think you will not be able to endure that torment.
22:54 You will not be able to tolerate those oppressors.
22:57 Go now.
22:58 And when you get the news that we have been given the freedom of the enemy,
23:03 we have been victorious,
23:05 Allah has given the religion a rise,
23:07 Allah has given the religion strength,
23:08 Allah has given the religion tolerance,
23:11 and when the circumstances are favorable, then come back."
23:16 Hazrat Amr bin Absa did not want to go back,
23:23 he did not want to leave the court of the Prophet.
23:25 He did not want to take his eyes off the Prophet.
23:31 But he left with a heavy heart.
23:34 Then Mufti sahib, he got the order.
23:35 It was an order, "Alam rufuqal adab"
23:38 Because it was an order and there will be countless wisdom in it.
23:41 So the Prophet sent him back.
23:44 He came, he was a polytheist, he went, he was a believer.
23:48 He came, he was a disbeliever, when he was going back, he was a believer.
23:51 He came, so at that time,
23:54 the darkness of polytheism and idolatry in the heart,
23:58 which he had heard from people,
24:01 and when he returned,
24:03 the rays of the light of faith were bursting,
24:06 he went there with joy.
24:08 Now he is waiting for the time when he will be able to visit the court of the Prophet again.
24:13 When the time comes,
24:15 he would greet the people who came.
24:18 Someone came, a resident of Madinah Sharif,
24:23 he was far away, so he asked, "Tell me any news of there?"
24:31 He also said, "Give me some news of your master."
24:34 He said, "The people of Makkah have tried every way to destroy us,
24:40 and Maazallah, Maazallah, Maazallah,
24:43 they even tried to kill them,
24:46 but their Lord protected them."
24:49 Then he was ordered to leave Makkah.
24:52 He made Yathrib as Madinah.
24:54 And now here, the spring of Islam is visible.
24:59 Now people are coming in the slavery of Ambo, Dar Ambo,
25:02 Jamaat, Dar Jamaat, Saf, Dar Saf, Jaug, Dar Jaug.
25:09 Now Islam has become victorious.
25:12 Hazrat Amr bin Abul Saab again rose from there,
25:15 again ran to Madinah Sharif.
25:17 He came to the court of the Prophet,
25:19 he came to the court of the Prophet,
25:22 he greeted him, it was a matter of great love.
25:25 It was a matter of great faith.
25:27 Many years had passed,
25:29 many years, 3, 4, 5 years had passed.
25:32 So when he greeted him, and after greeting him,
25:36 he asked, "Master, do you recognize me?"
25:39 "Allah Hu Akbar, Allah Hu Akbar."
25:41 "Do you recognize me?"
25:43 So my Prophet, peace be upon him, said,
25:47 "You are the one who came to the Bazaar of Uqaz
25:51 and read my Kalima and left."
25:53 He got up and got satisfied.
25:56 "My Master, you have recognized your slave."
26:00 He came and then his whole life
26:04 was spent in the court of the Prophet.
26:06 Then he settled in Madinah Sharif.
26:08 Then in the slavery of the Prophet.
26:10 Then his Khalwat, Jalwat, morning and evening,
26:14 everything was done by the Master, the Prophet.
26:18 Respected viewers, what a beautiful conversation.
26:21 And believe me, the beauty of Mufti Sahib is that
26:23 when he talks,
26:25 the person he mentions, his feet go to him.
26:29 And it is so enjoyable,
26:30 it feels like we are standing in the court of the Prophet.
26:34 Keep your heart and soul connected to the Prophet,
26:36 we will meet after a short break.
26:38 Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
26:41 Respected viewers,
26:42 you are joining us in the program of the life of the Companions.
26:47 And the great religious scholar of the Islamic world,
26:50 Hazrat Allama Mawlana Mufti Muhammad Tahir Tubassum Qadri Sahib
26:54 is with us.
26:56 And the great Companion of the Prophet,
26:58 Amr bin Abasah R.A. is being mentioned.
27:02 In a battle, the Master himself said to him,
27:05 "O Amr bin Abasah,
27:08 do you want to open the door of paradise?
27:10 O Prophet of Allah, who does not want to enter paradise?"
27:12 He said, "Shoot an arrow and enter the door of paradise."
27:16 Allahu Akbar.
27:17 He said, "I shot an arrow at the command of the Master."
27:21 And the Master said, "The door of paradise has opened."
27:25 The Master said, "Shoot again."
27:27 "I shot again at the command of the Master."
27:30 Even Sayyidina Amr bin Abasah says,
27:33 "I shot 16 arrows at the command of the Master."
27:37 So, in one battle, the Master said to him,
27:42 "I shot 16 arrows at the command of the Master."
27:47 Dear viewers, when we talk about arrows,
27:49 we think of Hazrat Sa'd.
27:52 Allahu Akbar.
27:53 He is the great Companion of the Prophet,
27:54 whom the Master himself used to shoot arrows at.
27:56 And he used to say,
27:57 "O Sa'd, shoot an arrow.
28:04 My parents will be sacrificed for you."
28:08 The Master of the Universe, Hazrat Ali (R.A) says,
28:12 "I have never heard any Companion say,
28:17 'My parents will be sacrificed for you.'
28:23 Every Companion used to say,
28:25 'O Prophet of Allah, my parents will be sacrificed for you.'
28:30 But when Sa'd shot an arrow,
28:33 at the command of the Master,
28:35 he said,
28:36 "O Sa'd, shoot an arrow.
28:38 My parents will be sacrificed for you."
28:40 So, I was saying,
28:41 Amr bin Abasah (R.A) shot 16 arrows at the same battle
28:47 and attained Paradise 16 times.
28:49 Mufti Sahib, please elaborate on this.
28:53 You came to the court of the Master in Medina.
28:57 Subhanallah.
28:57 You accepted Islam.
28:59 You came to the court of the Master
29:01 on the command of the Master
29:03 to attain victory,
29:05 to attain the highest rank,
29:06 to have children.
29:07 And this victory of Mecca took place in the year 8 Hijri.
29:12 This was the year before that.
29:16 So, let's say it was 8 Hijri.
29:17 And then in the year 11 Hijri,
29:18 the Prophet (PBUH) took the veil.
29:22 So, only three years
29:25 were spent in the company of the Prophet (PBUH)
29:28 and his companions.
29:31 Only three years.
29:32 Allah Hu Akbar.
29:33 But despite this,
29:34 through the guidance of the Prophet (PBUH)
29:38 and the court of the Prophet,
29:40 he attained immense spiritual benefit.
29:44 Subhanallah.
29:45 He attained knowledge,
29:47 he attained light,
29:48 he attained the purification of deeds.
29:50 There are countless Ahadith of the Prophet (PBUH)
29:53 148 Ahadith
29:57 are narrated by Hazrat Amr bin Abasah (RA)
30:03 The levels of the narrations of the Ahadith
30:05 of the companions
30:07 are counted in the fourth rank.
30:11 Allah Hu Akbar.
30:11 In such a short period of time,
30:13 he attained this rank.
30:14 In the fourth rank,
30:15 the companions narrated in abundance.
30:19 So, the fourth rank.
30:20 And then, Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (RA)
30:25 and Hazrat Heber ul Ummah (RA)
30:28 and Hazrat Abu Ma'ma Bahili (RA)
30:31 such great personalities
30:33 have taken the narrations from him.
30:36 There is a narration
30:37 from Musnad Ahmad
30:39 from Hazrat Amr bin Abasah.
30:42 He says that a person came to the court of the Prophet (PBUH)
30:45 who was a weak person.
30:47 This is a very beautiful thing.
30:49 I chose this because
30:51 it is relevant to the current situation.
30:55 If a person repents
30:57 from his sins,
30:59 then our attitude and behavior is that
31:01 we keep taunting him about his past life.
31:04 Allah Hu Akbar.
31:05 You understand?
31:05 Absolutely.
31:07 He is a great personality.
31:08 Then he gets annoyed.
31:09 He says, "Why did I leave this job?"
31:13 Similarly, if a person comes to Islam from disbelief,
31:16 then we will tell him about his past life.
31:18 The people who came to the court of the Prophet (PBUH)
31:23 were a few of the Hunafas
31:25 whom we mentioned at the beginning.
31:29 You should not taunt someone
31:33 by keeping in front of you his past life.
31:35 And do not remind him.
31:36 Whoever reminds him,
31:37 he is committing a very big crime in the eyes of Allah and the Messenger.
31:41 A person came,
31:42 he was a weak person.
31:44 He came to the court of the Prophet (PBUH)
31:49 and said, "Master, I have committed many treacheries
31:51 in the time of the Prophet (PBUH)
31:52 and in the time of ignorance.
31:54 I have committed many crimes,
31:55 many disobediences,
31:56 many sins,
31:58 and many transgressions.
32:00 Now I have come to your court
32:03 and I testify that there is no one worthy of worship except Allah
32:06 and you are the true Messenger of Allah.
32:10 Tell me what will happen to my past life?
32:13 The sins that I have committed."
32:16 Hazrat Amr bin Absar says,
32:18 "The Prophet (PBUH)
32:20 embraced that old man and said,
32:24 'Do not worry.
32:26 'Al Islamu yahadimu ma qablahu'
32:30 Allah is the Greatest.
32:32 When a person enters the circle of Islam,
32:34 whatever he did before that,
32:36 Islam destroys it.
32:40 Islam destroys it.
32:42 It is written in the pen of forgiveness.
32:44 Islam, migration, martyrdom,
32:47 these are the deeds
32:49 that Allah forgives all the sins that I have committed.
32:53 And the sins that I committed before Islam,
32:55 there are tribes in it.
32:57 Islam is all forgiven.
32:59 This is one of the narrations of Hazrat Amr bin Absar.
33:03 And the position that you got,
33:06 the benefit that you got from the court of the Prophet (PBUH),
33:10 what was your position in the court of Allah?
33:12 Imam Ibn Hajar and Imam Abu Nuaym
33:15 narrated this narration.
33:16 The slaves of Hazrat Ka'b are the narrators of this narration.
33:20 They say,
33:21 Hazrat Ka'b is the one who was asked about Taqwa.
33:24 Yes, he is a great and respected companion.
33:26 They say,
33:28 Miqdad bin Aswad,
33:31 Shafi bin Habib,
33:32 and Amr bin Abasah.
33:34 And me.
33:35 The four of us were going
33:37 to the jungle with the cattle.
33:40 So, Amr bin Abasah went far away
33:42 while grazing his cattle.
33:47 He went far away.
33:49 When he did not return for a long time,
33:53 I was suspicious.
33:56 I went in search of him.
33:58 Where did he go?
34:00 When I reached there
34:03 and came and saw,
34:06 I was so surprised.
34:08 It was scorching sun,
34:12 scorching desert,
34:14 there was no sign of shadow.
34:17 Amr bin Abasah was sleeping there
34:20 and the clouds were shadowed.
34:24 The clouds were shadowed.
34:28 When I woke up Hazrat Amr bin Abasah,
34:31 I saw another Ikhlas.
34:34 When I woke up,
34:36 Amr bin Abasah saw me
34:38 in the clouds.
34:41 He promised me
34:44 that he will not tell anyone
34:46 about the scene he saw.
34:48 Wow!
34:49 What to say, Mufti sahib?
34:50 He will not tell anyone.
34:52 He will hide this miracle.
34:53 He will hide it.
34:55 You say that I never told anyone
34:58 about this after his death.
35:01 Allah Akbar!
35:02 You should talk about this
35:04 because here we say
35:06 that our miracles should be told.
35:08 We say that our miracles
35:09 should be told by our own words.
35:12 What is the standard of religion?
35:14 What is the standard of truth?
35:17 Now, the clouds are shadowed
35:19 on Hazrat Amr bin Abasah.
35:21 So, this is the narration
35:23 that Allah makes the work of the one
35:26 who is busy with the work of Allah.
35:29 In Hadrat Rabia Basriya,
35:31 the incident of Allah's mercy
35:34 that was written by
35:36 Huzoor (S) in Kashf al Majub Sharif,
35:40 he was grazing goats.
35:44 He was grazing goats.
35:46 He laid a mat there.
35:49 He was standing on the mat
35:50 and offering prayers.
35:52 The goats were grazing there
35:55 and a shepherd of goats
35:57 was making a sheep.
35:59 Allah Akbar!
36:02 A man passed by.
36:04 He saw this scene,
36:05 this environment,
36:06 saw the goats.
36:08 There is a woman
36:10 who is wrapped in a veil.
36:14 She is wearing a veil.
36:15 She is offering prayers.
36:17 She is standing, prostrating,
36:18 and laying a mat.
36:20 He kept watching for a long time
36:21 and the goats were grazing
36:23 and the shepherd of goats
36:24 was making a sheep.
36:26 He was surprised.
36:27 He said that this scene
36:28 was first seen by the Lord.
36:30 He thought that the sheep
36:31 would become the shepherds
36:32 of the goats.
36:34 He kept waiting.
36:36 When Hadrat Rabia Basriya
36:38 (R.A)
36:40 got free,
36:41 he offered prayers.
36:43 He came near.
36:44 He stood in the mat
36:46 and offered prayers.
36:47 After offering prayers,
36:49 he said, "O servant of Allah,
36:51 I want to know this secret.
36:54 I want to understand this point.
36:56 I want to ask this point.
36:58 These goats are yours,
37:00 not mine."
37:02 He said, "Then tell me
37:05 how is this place found
37:08 that you are offering prayers
37:10 and your sheep are being
37:11 protected by the shepherd.
37:12 I had heard that the shepherd
37:14 picks up the goats,
37:15 eats them, tears them.
37:17 This is the first time
37:19 that the shepherd becomes
37:20 the guardian of the goats.
37:22 Subhanallah.
37:23 How did this happen?
37:25 How did this scene
37:26 and situation
37:27 occur?
37:29 Hadrat Rabia Basriya
37:31 (R.A)
37:33 said,
37:35 "O servant of Allah,
37:36 there is no long-winded philosophy.
37:39 The one who surrenders himself
37:40 to the Lord,
37:43 Allah makes all His creatures
37:45 follow His command.
37:47 If you are loyal to Muhammad,
37:49 then we are yours.
37:51 Wherever there is a thing,
37:53 it is yours."
37:54 Wow, Mufti sahib,
37:55 it is mentioned in Hadith-e-Baq
37:56 "Man kaana fee haajati akhi,
37:58 kaana Allahu fee haajati."
37:59 Yes, yes.
38:00 He said, "When you are in need
38:01 of your Muslim brother,
38:03 then Allah is in need of you."
38:04 Yes, of course,
38:05 this is the same expression.
38:06 We have one and a half minutes left.
38:07 I want to say one last thing.
38:09 And one more thing,
38:10 you can see it
38:11 in terms of your loyalty
38:12 and trustworthiness.
38:13 It is a very beautiful thing
38:14 of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A).
38:17 Between Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah
38:18 and the Romans,
38:21 there was a treaty of war
38:23 and it was decided
38:24 that no one will attack anyone.
38:26 But the situation reached such a level
38:28 that all four Ameer Muawiyah
38:31 had to fight against it
38:33 and they started preparations for war
38:36 and they were about to attack
38:39 because the situation reached such a level
38:41 and Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
38:42 was also part of that army.
38:45 Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
38:46 stood in front of Ameer Muawiyah
38:48 and stood up and said,
38:49 "I have recited the commandment
38:51 of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)."
38:53 He said, "Ameer Muawiyah, listen to this."
38:55 My Mustafa said,
38:57 "When a Muslim makes a promise,
38:59 he fulfils it."
39:01 This is the glory of a Muslim.
39:03 A Muslim never breaks his promise.
39:05 So you are not doing it right
39:07 because this is the glory of a Muslim.
39:09 And this is the whole life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)
39:11 and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)
39:13 that the Holy Prophet (PBUH)
39:15 has fulfilled the promise
39:17 of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:19 and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)
39:21 and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)
39:23 of the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:25 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:27 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:29 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:31 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:33 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:35 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:37 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:39 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:41 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:43 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:45 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:47 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:49 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:51 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:53 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:55 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:57 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
39:59 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
40:01 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
40:03 and the trust of Hazrat Amr bin Abas (R.A)
