00:00Today at WCSX is Ken Calvert's annual Casual One Golf Outing.
00:07Hundreds of CSX listeners convene at Beacon Hill Golf Club for 18 holes, lots of food and drinks, and prizes with the WCSX CJs and Detroit Area VIPs.
00:17Plus, proceeds from the golf outing benefit a children's charity.
00:21We've got great weather this year, perfect conditions for a day for our listeners to play hooky from work.
00:27I'm set up at the 17th hole with another WCSX promo team member.
00:32Keeping with the casual theme, we're passing out lay necklaces to all of our golfers.
00:38The WCSX listeners have a blast and we have fun too.
00:42Other casual themes at the holes include longest putt and teeing off with the kiddie club.
00:48After golf, time for a steak dinner.
00:51Then it's back to the station.
00:53All in all, it's another perfectly executed promotion by WCSX and the greater media promotion staff.
