00:00Hi, it's DHA's Rock and Rough, and I am Terry Carr. I am here with my great friend, Meredith Petrillo from the Denville Animal Shelter, friends of the Denville Animal Shelter.
00:12This guy is just so incredible. He's a young guy. He's about five months old. Love, love, love bug beyond belief. Look at this wagging tail.
00:23And I mean, he's just an unflappable, sweet, incredible dog. This is Dexter. He's a young guy. He's about five months old, Meredith.
00:31Tell us a little bit about Dexter. I just can see how loving he is. He came in with a sister, correct?
00:36He did. He came in with his sister, Morgan, and they've been at the shelter for about three weeks now.
00:42We've been working on training. We've done elevators. We do municipal buildings. He goes in and plays at the police station.
00:49And he's actually a very, very well-behaved dog. He's housebroken, totally vaccinated.
00:57And he still needs to be neutered, but we're going to let that go for another month or so because he is still young.
01:05But all in all, I would say this dog is a 10.
01:08He is a 10. I mean, literally, you can do anything to him. He's so sweet.
01:13He wants to just jump up on you and give you kisses and kisses and kisses and more kisses.
01:18Very attentive, very easily trained.
01:21And he's just such a happy guy.
01:25When you see a dog that's this happy all the time, it definitely warms your heart.
01:30He would make a great addition to any home.

01:36Meet Dexter from the Denville Animal Shelter, who stopped by WDHA's Rock and Rough to kiss the staff and spread joy.
01:45He is such a joyful boy.
01:48Dexter is about five months old and is at the shelter actually with his sister.
01:52He's a great hound lab mix, perfect pup in every way, super friendly, happy, and very affectionate.
01:58Dexter is also very smart and knows some basic commands.
02:01He's housebroken, too, and would make an amazing addition to just about any family.
02:06Dexter loves meeting new people, and we loved meeting him.
02:10And I love the Denville Animal Shelter.
02:11It's where I adopted my Rosie girl from.
02:13Meredith does such a great job working with the pups.

03:11Dexter's great with other dogs, so if you are going to meet and greet, you bring your dog with you.

03:25And he's just such a loving dog, and he's looking for a home to call his own.

03:36There's definitely some Retriever in there, too.
